after installing autolink and making sure all maps and files are placed in the right places, the game freezes at the "this game uses autosave" message, what's the cause of this and how do i fix it?

 

EDIT: it appears this only occurs when using a Steam controller

 

EDIT 2: i fixed it by downloading a new controller configuration.
