Well, after all the upset and disappointment the latest updates caused, this new update fixes it.

 

Everything in my game is now working like it always did.

@Milik,  That error refers to a mod by NisaK.  As that mod relies on WW to function. that said, there could still be a few minor errors in the new WW code too.

I am getting a slightly different error but it does not interrupt game play, so I'm letting it slide.

 

The drive T refered to is actually a "shadow zipped drive" that the game runs in once started.

Nope, only 1.90 and above, unless next update also breaks all mods lol.

I'm still having an issue where sims can't have sex because "their sexual orientation is incompatible". I'm not sure if I've tried with the 170j update though, I'll have to check when I get home.

 

To be honest I'm also not sure if this is a WW issue I'm experiencing or something from another mod that EAs update managed to hose...

I tentatively say yes. I played about 5 hrs last night and 1 hr this morning with the update and all is well *knock on wood* Game runs just like before all this insanity.

ColonolNutty cannot even master stolen software code properly, which leads to a huge number of errors and bugs.

Actually, i've been using DD since yesterday and haven't encountered a single problem.  Maybe it was buggy before but it's working perfectly for me and is a great alternative to WW if you want the old feature back.

Thank you for steering us back on topic.  As interesting as these discussions have been, I genuinely want to see all these bugs worked out without the distractions.

Anyways, are there any plans to fix this right here?  It's not an issue for the game but it's an issue for immersion.  Tina lass just walks into the apartment, walks out onto the balcony, and looks through the window.  Gets me everytime.  ?

Hey, I still haven't updated my game (I am still on version 1.89.214.1030) and I bought the HSY pack but didn't install it either. I am very suspicious when it comes to EA and always wait a long time on purpose when updates come and play offline instead. Everything I've read lately and how massively the game has been broken confirms that my suspicions were justified.
Well...if I want to play with the pack I bought just before release I can't avoid updating forever, so I'd like to know from people playing with the latest patch how safe it is to use WW right now.
- Is the last updated WW version safe to work? Is the time loop problem finally gone for good, or do people still have this problem?
The other question is about "Inappropriate Unlock 1.0.2"
- Does this mod work fine with the latest EA patch and the latest WW update, or does it cause problems?
And with this mod installed, can teenagers just have sex or can they get pregnant again too?
If there are still any problems, please tell me, because then I will still not update my game, nor install HSY. It sucks because of the 40 bucks (or euro in my country) but without properly working WW and Inappropriate Unlock I won't play the game in the latest version or install the pack, which would force me to update.

ANYWAY.

Updating to the latest version now.  Some people were theorizing that Nisa's Mod, in conjunction with WW, was causing time problems.  Is this proven to be the case? Or was it only WW?  I'm asking so I know whether or not to grab Nisa's mod along with this update before I head back into the game.  Thanks!

Is there an option to turn off the text prompt/choice menu when someone asks pc for sex? (so any way to make it be handled completely by the autonomy systems)

Found more information. In EA answers, the mods moved the thread about the save bug to the mods/CC issues section, but now console players have reported the same issues.
It can't be that EA ignores this issue and simply categorizes it as a mod/cc issue, although apparently it isn't. Mod creators now have to search desperately for workarounds although the core problem seems to lie deeper in the game.

I just came here to report that Wicked Whims still produces game-breaking errors. Whenever my sims have sex (living in an appartment), it corrupts the savegame. Meaning when I load that or consecutive saves, the family is deleted without a trace (not in the world, not in the household tabs). I have tried different things all afternoon to reproduce this error and the only consistent thing is that it happens after sex interactions.

Would be nice if at least you would tell me why you delete my post about console players reporting the save bug on their consoles. 

I thought this might be interesting because many are still having problems. I don't think it's okay to just delete posts that don't have anything bad written in them, without telling the member why.

But this one will probably also be deleted for no reason ... really sad, I thought we are one community
