Just a question when will an update for Sims 4 ver 1.77.13 be out ?  I have lost all my wicked stuff and just noticed turbodriver only supports up to 1.76.

It's not just WW.  MCCC and Nisa's WP are essential to game play. All my other game play mods I might be able to do without.

Here is another nifty idea for all you new folks. Instead of asking the same question over and over, scroll up a page or maybe two. Then you'll see how many times the same thing has been said or asked. 

Turbo will have an update out when it is ready! WAIT!!

Don't trust your mods to EA. Keep auto-update (aka auto-destruct) off and you can decide to update after all your essential mods are updated.

Mind you, you're going to lose some mods - I miss the clone machine from the science career mod that enable you to clone a sim into either gender and from ages Teen to elder.

hey y'all, I'm brand new to this. I downloaded this wicked whims, placed it in the mods folder but it doesn't give me the wicked option when playing the game. What am I doing wrong?

You're doing nothing wrong.

Yesterday, a new game patch was released and it broke a huge amount of mods, among which WW.

All you can do now is wait for the mod to be updated.

Consider that tomorrow a new expansion is coming out and that too could add to the current mods apocalypse.

Or......if you're like me, and got the base game through Steam, turning Auto Updates off in Origin doesn't help. As I discovered. Steam patches the game, if you originally purchased it there. I suppose I could have gone offline from Steam. IF I had remembered!

It's broken. Deaderpool has already stated that he won't be able to fix it until next week as he is away from his computer for the week.

The newest patched game version is 1.77.131.1030. Turbodriver hasn't updated the mod yet (patch was yesterday) Give him time. It is free after all.

Devious Desires still works though (if you have it), same for Nisa's Wicked Perversions, AEP Pornography and the moodlets are still there. MCCC's problems are only related to the UI. The biggest fuck-up caused by this patch is for Basemental Drugs where your doors disappear.

 

I'd say the game is still playable somewhat.

I have not set an automatic update in Orgin and if one comes, I go to Orgin on offline mode. And have no problems in the game. With Orgin, the automatic Udabti is always set that way

Basemental's author has acknowledged the door problem and is working on a fix.

Yeah, bad luck.

It has happened to me before with Skyrim, i launched the game with the game launcher, instead of skse! 

 

You need to turn auto updates off in steam though. and just not play the modded games online, single player games don't need to be online anyway.

Everyone should just remember this = You really should not have "any" modded game on auto updates.

 

I made an earlier post about making copies of your game folders, that would be useful to read for future updates.

The update of WW is already out, but only on Turbodrivers Patreon and you have to pay for it. I don´t know if it is free anymore.

Yeah, the SKSE thing happened to me after I first got it. I was able to roll back to the previous SkyrimSE.exe.

Thing is, with the Sims 4, you can't really turn off updates, since your only choices are: (1) Only update this game when I launch it. (2) Always keep this game updated (3) Always auto update this game. So, other than keeping Steam always offline, there's really no other recourse.

I have no problems with Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE since I launch both of those with the Script Extender. And have "only update this game when I launch it" in the update settings.
