Can someone point me to that? I can't find it. Thanks. EDIT: I can't upload an image yet, but the in-game message said the following: OSA WAS UNABLE TO BOOT UP! This is a result of conflicting UI mods being installed. Some mods incorrectly interfere with Skyrim's UI and stop other mods from accessing files. Conflicts must be removed to allow OSA to properly start. See the OSA Troubleshooting FAQ (Section 2) Code: UIConflict01 So yeah, can someone link me to the FAQ? I still can't find it.

EDIT: Okay, I see that Less Intrusive HUD II is on the "incompatible" list - do you think Minimal HUD would also conflict? I don't have Less Intrusive HUD but I do have Minimal HUD, and since they seem to do similar things, I suspect that it may be the cause. I'll try temporarily disabling Minimal HUD and seeing if that has any effect. EDIT 2: Whoops, I'm a dumb-arse. I completely glossed over "Simple Crosshair" on the incompatibilities list. Removing that .swf file has fixed it. Time to find an alternative crosshair...

One quick note before I ramble: OSex currently doesn't have OSA as a dependency when you go to download the file. I am pretty concerned about the mod being a) over-complicated / over-engineered, and b ) not very clear about what it can provide to a user, or more importantly, a modder. I think it's worth considering the user experience for a modder being introduced to OSA:First impression: they see "OSA - Skyrim Ascendancy Engine" on the Nexus in the UI category, with pictures of Skyrim babes and some (very cool-looking) UI, one with a giant block of sample text (if they look closely they'll see it's a "biography"), one with a bunch of stats, and one with a gear listing. The short description is pretty vague: "UI powered development framework that allows for vastly enhanced animation experiences," and the UI can "display new unique data and deliver some quality of life options to Skyrim." Right now I think the average person would be pretty confused, but at best they'd assume it's a UI framework for Skyrim. Animations were only referenced once in the first impression material (title / images / short description), and it's not clear what you can do with them. Now if the modder is curious about this OSA, they'll go read the main description. They're told that OSA is an "animation framework that allows developers to have stronger control, effects, and usability in animated scenes." Then there's the PERSONA system added on, which talks about adding personality data to characters. The third paragraph adds PROFILE and MyOSA. There are a ton of project names going on here. The images in the mod are all quite sexual in nature, especially the PERSONA section. The user might be wondering if this is all a big euphemism for a sex framework. The documentation in the papyrus scripts and demos aren't great either. The folder structure of OSA is quite confusing. The MyEquipDemo leaves a lot to be desired: one- or two- letter attribute names are pretty unreadable (what's t? what's th? what's b?) and I can't tell which folder I would put my own .xml file in (_MyOSA? equip?). I would recommend thinking through "user stories," in order to improve the documentation, and in the process maybe even rethink for yourself what modules can be separated or merged into one. For example, I'm currently working on a mod that lets you gift any NPC gear for them to wear, but only if you have a good enough relationship rank, or maybe base it off a Speechcraft roll. It should ideally be triggered through dialogue. How would a modder go about investigating whether they could leverage OSA's super awesome equip system for that idea? Another example would be the MMO-style "action bar" idea I asked about a few weeks ago. You essentially said OSA isn't right for that kind of mod, because it needs an animation scene to run the UI, which wouldn't work for something persistent like an action bar. I had no idea the UI depended on the animation framework in that way, and I've been following the project for months. How would a new modder figure that out by reading the documentation? I'll summarize: - OSA is wearing an absurd amount of hats: animation framework, UI, PERSONA, PROFILE, MyOSA, ESG. To be frank, it's over-engineered. There really shouldn't be that many sub-projects. - To resolve this, there needs to be a combination of: 1) Better description of what each system does, what its limitations are, what its requirements are. 2) Consider the engine itself, and whether the various systems can be separated out. I asked earlier about whether OSA is appropriate for the action bar idea, but a better question is: do you want OSA to be appropriate for that kind of mod? You've got an absolutely kick-ass set of systems going on, but they seem to be densely tied to the "player-driven seamless animation framework," which is very restrictive compared to some of the other systems, mainly the UI.

I am saturated in sex images and e-babes from my work on OSex so hopefully in time I can give a better feel for the diversity as I take on new modules. Migal is always on me about scope-creep and I am trying to be mindful about where I expand to and stay within reason. Mainly if I have to go through a lot of effort to put some roots down into Skyrim to do things or access information if that point has some bonuses I can tap into I will since to me it makes more sense then reimplementing the same system again just to be standalone but I do worry about what you're talking about as well. Every external system currently does partially at least have use in OSA animation is what I mean. Overall I think it's currently ok since the systems relate to shared UI that can impact them all, an access point to inspect was needed, gathering equipment data and managing it was already there etc. but I'm unsure still. I would like to take on as one last branch of the project, some gauges, messagebox, cinematic screen text, menu's with multiple options that papyrus developers can use for whatever they want, partially these things would be callable by the API in scenes but I'd like to leave them open ended if I do make them to be a place anyone can pump text into or get input from for things outside of OSA. You're suggestions are all great and a very well thought out points, I'm going to think about it and I'll reply again to this since it's most likely the most to be secretly-turnoff thing about the project. Persona is what I worry about the most in terms of difficulty I think it is challenging and complex to the point that it will turn off a lot of people but intricate personality was a goal of the project so that trade off might be worth it. Schlongs. - Cannot find out how to open the OSA-MCM, only the panel on the right. - pressing "4" and "1" on Numblock results in Weapons appearing/disapearing. - I miss something like an end/orgasm- animation. - SoS should be fixable there's been a lot of talk here about it and I believe a fix is found, I've been away for over a week so I have to review what to do but hopefully someone will chime in with the solution. - Panel on the right is the OSA-MCM, my version of an MCM basically, it has all config options - 4 and 1 is most likely SKYUI bindings for hotswaping equipment sets and will need to be handled through the skyui favorites menu. - Orgasms coming soon, I have some done but pulled them because I suck, they'll be coming back in force eventually. I tend to keep getting sidetracked by new stuff rather then focusing on orgasms but you're right I have to.

What SOS plugin are you using? People that had some issues with SOS were using SOS for females unp and floppy sos. The Racemenu- Plugin comes with the XMPSE32 Skeleton. But I tested it. Without the plugin it is the same. With the plugin I can at least adjust the size again, after the scene startet. Takes some of the pepper out of the scene. She should be lying laughing on the floor

Once again thank you so much for Pioneering and letting OSA be a part of your legendary mod, the most popular request I've received here and it's a huge help to this project. Thank you! Also if you're playing around ever with it, it's not documented well but in the API page linked on nexus at the bottom I added an example of the new choreography functions that can be used. You have to use the osa.functions instead of osex.start to begin the scene but they are pretty much the same. osa.functions are just a little more complicated. You can plan scene beginnings or the entire scene all the way through now. ($Speed seems a little wonky but the rest seems ok.) More to come and i'll have better documentation on this soon.

Yea I'll update the version log tonight at some point but in the meantime: A majority of it to summarize, a lot of it is just small bugs getting tied up: 1. Bug hunting / fixes around scale, targeting, typos in text, errors in some of Equip related things and MyOSA 2. The code for 3 ways is in, took me a while it's pretty complex. you'll be getting a Malex2 Female line of scenes and a Femalex2 Male line of scenes soon, you can join in or invite others at anytime from designated scenes. 3. Localization fixes, pandect can be translated now. 4. A ton of flags you can enable which don't do anything now but will be there for developers so you can block certain scenes if they are hurting your lore style or tastes etc. 5. Hostility Detection, Direction Detection, (To adjust scenes around), locking keypress to only work from certain directions 6. Lot of small things. 7. API can choreograph entire scenes now, if a developer doesn't want the player to have control for a scene and wants to guide the entire thing. For OSex: - Spooning got a little more polish, still needs some love - More polish on the Standing > Cowgirl shortcut - Squatting handjob + BJ with a decent amount of polish - a more tender standing together scene then the first one OSex usually starts on that has a handjob also. Decent polish almots there Majority of the work was the 2 to 3 way conversion system, which I believe is epic but I need a little more time on the animations to showcase it. If you could release a version of OSEX with only cuddling and kissing, with a name like OSA Romance Animations.It will be a hit and a good advertising for OSA. My 2 cents if you want OSA to reach more people.

Osex was long time burried under the name that was impossible to search on nexus 0s3xynet 9000, now it can be searched easily by looking for "sex". Osex is also gaining a lot of support thatnks to new release of OSA so at the moment the 2 are helping each other. I have noticed few dumbasses tagging OSA as NSFW, sexy/skimpy and nudity. OSA doesnt include any NSFW material, description is SFW even shinji's video is SFW, but you cant stop people from being dumb no matter how hard you try or no matter what you do.
