Guest endgameaddiction Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Good to know. I haven't tried it yet but I download it yesterday and finally got the launcher some time last night. Eager to try it out right now.
Ascian Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 How does modding work with Enderal? I mean, you have to start it over the enderal launcher dont you? Can i just install them using MO or what?
Andy14 Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 It's like Skyrim. The master file is called Skyrim.esm. Enderal Launcher creates a complete backup of Skyrim. Then Skyrim is overwritten with Enderal. ENB and SKSE is not changed by Enderal. Enderal works with ENB and SKSE. Tip: Make a backup of ENB (ini's, etc.), because you may need to adjust it differently for Enderal. So far I have my body, XPMSE, HDT Highheel, HDT PE, RaceMenu, Armors, etc. without problems in Enderal. For Armors / Clothes you may need to change something, the races are basically Nord, Imperial, etc., but there are differences. And armor crafting / upgrade is different. For MO: In theory (I do not use it, so theory) must be set up only the Launcher. If this works, you can probably even use the old Mod profile since Skyrim no changes has in folder structure and file names.

I also will wait for the English version (my Dutch leaves a LOT to be desired ... like 100%). So I'll wait until I read/hear some sound discussions of how Enderal fits into the Mod Organizer scheme of organizationl.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 It says not to use MO or NMM. As far as adding mods to it. I believe it's named Skyrim.esm so that Creation Kit can recognize it and load all the assets for it? I had mentioned on Nexus that adding a plugin wouldn't be possible unless CK can be used to create mods for it as Skyrim's CK was used to create FO4 mods since Skyrim's CK is similar to Fallout 4's CK. If that's the case, then it should be easy to make mods for it. And that's something I may do once the English launcher is released.
Guest Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Didn't the developers say that it uses a different master file? I mean they did that in Nehrim, so I thought they'll keep using their own master for Enderal. And for the imagespacemodifiers issue, hasn't that been fixed in the newest versions of ENB?
Hollow_Tears Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Correct me if i'm wrong but this will not be something like going to solitude docks/talking to an npc and going to the new land instead we have to choose to play ether Skyrim with all our mods or just Enderal ether way i'll still play it but i'd like to know.

You have to choose between Skyrim and Enderal, as Enderal is more or less a complete standalone game, but Enderal will backup your Skyrim setup during installation. You should also be able to use NMM without any problems, can't say if this goes for MO too. ENBs can create graphics bugs and may ruin the cutscenes, they need to be adjustet first. Armor mods work for 2 of the 4 races, if you want to use it with the others you need to adjust the armor mods with tes5edit. Also Enderal uses the latest version of skse.
Xenoramos Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Sorry for dumb question, but is there any info about it in english except installation guide?

prinyo Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I guess what everybody is asking themselves here is - will SL work or not?
Storms of Superior Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I guess what everybody is asking themselves here is - will SL work or not? It's very possible, but the scripts may need to be adjusted, as well as the scripts of other mods.
