I've always had Rieklings in Skyrim.

Interesting, I haven't seen any.

I'm guessing you have a mod that allows Solsteim random encounters in mainlain Skyrim. Do you have morag tong or reavers too?

Skyrim Immersive Creatures would appear to be the guilty party.

Never seen or heard of Morag Tong or Reavers.

Didn't realise SkyHunks was one of yours! (Anyone recommend a mod which makes male elves look better?)

Skyrim Immersive Creatures has the options to get Rieklings and Cliff Racers in Skyrim. You can also set the options to "Solstheim only". It is a matter of preference.

Hi ffabris, a small request from me: could you please add animals/creatures to the factions? Would be terrific for roleplaying Bosmer and Beastlords.

They're in 5.x :)  OWN is no longer needed.

Wow, cool. But I am still going to install OWN, since I really like the mechanic and the fact that I can tweak each creature individually. Still love Manipulator though

Another mod you could try is Velexia's Animals are not Monsters (now with Skyrim Immersive Creature Patch! YAY). It doesn't have the tweaking options that OWN has, but it makes creatures behave more naturally, instead of attacking on sight.

Vachnic,

The Rieklings aren't a problem.

I've had SIC installed since I first started modding Skyrim and it's one of those mods which you install, configure and forget.

I had enough of those cliff-racers in Morrowind so I have them toggled off in Skyrim.

I've done a few odds'n'ends, yes. ;) No idea on elves, sorry.

More faction fun.

I keep getting letters of inheritance from various hostiles I have killed. The latest was from a Dwemer construct spectre boss. The constructs are hostile and attack me on sight, which is correct. Not a problem, just FYI.

I'm still using Manip v5.

OK, so when you have finished the brothel mod you can do a male elf overhaul.

Use 5.2, if you aren't. as for inheritance... NFC! I'd say, enjoy the extra cash! :D

LOL!

Well see, here's a bit of insight into how/why I mod (not always valid, but mostly): I do stuff that turns me on. Skyhunks reflects the sort of guy I tend to like (thus lots of blonds ... plus I favor hairy, but that isn't something I can - or would - hardcode). Orcs have that brutish macho thing going on, which I like. ;) Elves, on the other hand, not really my type. And I really can't get into cats or reptiles either. :-|

Anyway, I'm in the middle of something else now ... no idea why I didn't try this long ago since it isn't all that difficult.

I am liking the "learn all alchemy effects" feature, but either I did something wrong or you cannot enable both that and the enchanting learning at the same time. Or something is broken.

I tried on a new save, and was apparently able to learn the effects, if I checked one option, exited mcm, and then went back in.

Yeah, not sure why only one works there, but as you say, closing then reopening the MCM, you can do the other. So while I do have it as "to do", it isn't high priority.

Perks is missing stuff though, so I fixed that already. Might also add an option to prevent random vampire attacks. Maybe.

That would be awesome... Because I always have to go to few cities (before they show up at Player's level 8 or 9) and set my favorite NPCs as essentials because none of the mods that I found on Nexus works 100%. I hate when I accidentally forget to do that and those stupid vampires kills my Adrainne Avenicci before I have a chance to fuck her few times. (it's became tradition for me to do it whenever I visit Whiterun) :)

I noticed that "resurrect 1" console command changes her behaving and after she's been resurrected she mostly spend time inside the shop and her selling items spectrum is limited and/or not regularly updated by the game.

SO, I vouch for this and give you praise if you do it.

Haha... ok unless someone objects strongly, then I will. Optional, same as Challenger or Student, for example.

Are you going to do something differently than what Timing is Everything offers? It has the option of changing what level the whole Dawnguard quest chain starts, and separately when vampires spawn. I just set them to 100, and then head to the castle when I want to, as with dragons, vampires will spawn more at certain times of the quest chain, but by then I'm ready.

No; it will be a simple on/off toggle, same as for Challenger and Student. Nothing fancy.

Code is done (mostly), but I haven't yet managed to test it... once I get through my daily routine, I'll check it. :)

Elf Prince,

Surely you have tried Timing is Everything? I use it and don't have problems with vampires (I can't abide them in any way, shape or form).

I don't suppose you know of any male elf makeover/overhaul mods perchance?

Edit: Just spotted Karlpaw's post re TiE.

5.3 is up ...

  • Fix: Perks hack wasn't setting max value for skill trees. (If you already used this hack, it will be unlocked again with the update.)
  • Change: Moved settings like Block Student & Challenger, from Settings panel to Hacks (since that's what they are, essentially).
  • New: Added "No vampire attacks" to Hacks panels. I blocked all those I found; I won't promise I found all fo them.
  • Note: Snapshots not updated this time... too lazy. ;)

Thanks all for suggestions. :)

I like ffabris's idea of preventing vampire's attack. If he want's to and can do it, I'll be very thankful.

Edit: as I see he did it.... Thank ffabris.

While it is a topic, others have said to use recycleactor instead of resurrect.

That console command also have side effects.... red about it on the forums but I don't have a will to list them and explain them now.

Welcome! Useful to me too, since they're annoying. :)

ffabris - latest version is having a problem with Player's level" under "Hacks". My player was level 52 when this version was installed. By default MCM sets Player's level to 5. When my Player's skill roused for 1 level, I got notification that my player is level 11.  I set his level to 53 in MCM menu, saved the game and exit. When loaded a game, MCM default value for skill returned to 5. There is a mismatch in his true level and leveling through the menu.

Anyway, is it possible that Player's level in "Hacks" can be disabled by default, because it is ON when game starts.

The default in MCM doesn't reflect what your current level is, since the MCM only handles multiples of 5. The level is not touched unless you open the Level menu, in which case, it changes to whatever is selected. If you leave it alone, your level remains unchanged.

Thanks for the info ffabris. I just don't understand why my level was reduced from 53 to 10 and when increased by one it went on 11. I didn't open Level menu at all. I opened "hacks" just to disable vampire's attacks.

But, will see more of Player's development through the game. :)
