Mana Yakushima Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 lilith capaign gonna be redone right ? cuz as it take NOTHING to get immortality and make all OP(30+ stats) characters immortal for symbolic price. better make it so,that it cost your health rather than piety(like,you imbue them with you demonic essence that stop aging),you can restore your HP by life draining anyway. and to make it meaningful it should cost around 15-20 HP (so it take time and some risks if your HP will be too low) hope one day to see lilith cult society that tied to lilth compaign and other cool and entertaining stuff. my interst (look at it as priorty vote ) lies in lilith,vampires and kitsune. others...i don't give a flying fuck i'm not interested in orcs or neko. werewolves and elves...meh,only if i get bored by other three which is probably never...i play CK like 5-6 times a year ? and each session can take 1-3 week. Lilith campaign isn't going to be overhauled much. Mainly because it takes me a lot longer, since you can't hold the Blood Moon event when you're at war, and I usually go the route of violence when I play. So I don't experience the 'too quick' feeling, and I sure don't want to drag it out any longer, as I don't want my leader getting immortal when they're old and wrinkly. Is there a cooldown on the event? I noticed if you do it early enough, you can immediately do it again afterwards.
JesusKreist Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 There is currently no effective cooldown on BM. Particular cheaty players can do 3 BM per year as the second one ends the day before the end of the eligable time when the first is started at the very first day.
palji Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 I guess you could significantly raise the revolt modifier for sacrificing a peasant and make it cumulative (if it isn't already). Could make it more of a risky undertaking stacking the event quickly - either a really high revolt risk or lots of people hating you for sacrificing their loved ones if you actually do have the prisoners. Then again I've noticed (in more peaceful starts) that the possibility is there, but it was never a problem just not doing it, really. Game balancing and stuffing exploits isn't a top priority for a naughty / roleplay mod and it's your thing anyway, so just keep doing whatever makes you happy.

There is a cooldown, but it's cleared right after the last event fires. To fix it, in theory, I should just need to extend out when the event that clears the flags fires. It wasn't really an issue originally, as I believe it was just a single month, then I made it a couple months to give folks a chance to catch it, then I added the flag to make it notify you when it was first available. I think getting the notification is what has made it very easy to exploit, as previously it could be overlooked while you were doing your normal thing. When I tweak it, it'll either be by scaling it back down to a single month, or extending the period where it clears the flags out further, or I even considered adding another week to the Blood Moon event and adding another couple days between events to lengthen the celebration to where the flag clearing would fall outside the period even if you started the event on the first available day.

Everyone knows I'm a trap and is repulsed, I can't have my troops gangbang me, when I lay with a male lover there's no graphic for the trap scene, and my successor gets no option to become a trap. And my character's way too masculine to pass as a trap, is there a way that his features can switch to the most feminine looking male features, or even just have his profile switch sexes? Completely agree with this.

Completely agree with this. I just edited the trait to be agnatic and added an image to the event. Been trying to figure out how I could add pictures based on culture group, but it's been difficult. As for event pictures? I've been looking and can't really find anything that really fits.

I find it disconcerting to have portraits drawn from a small set that show nothing about the character's age, culture or ethnicity -- particularly when you end up with your ruler's heir having the exact same custom portrait as your ruler (making it easy to mix up which you are doing things with). Alternately, how difficult would it be to introduce a Game Rule to turn it off?

It's important to remember that futas in general have a fertility rate penalty, so it can be a little difficult if they don't have traits that in turn provide fertility bonuses.

Completely agree with this. Your troops gangbanging you isn't part of my mod, regardless of whether you're a trap or not. Someone brought up adding custom portraits that could be selected in the past and I've been considering to put something together recently, so that might help some. I don't know of a way to change portrait dna through event commands, so outside of a custom portrait option, I've little else that might work. Regarding the repulsed thing, it's a -5 general opinion. I think that's very reasonable, and wouldn't consider it "repulsed" at all. I've been toying around with the idea of hiding some traits that would have to be 'discovered' by others, and a trap would be one of them, but that train of thought hasn't made it far enough out of the station to really say it will happen or not.

If the test goes well I'll go ahead and post it. Below is the change log as it stands right now. v1.53 (Dark World Reborn) - Updated the Succubus Corruption ability to use some of the vanilla scripted_effects for diseases - Succubus Corruption also has a chance to start an epidemic if they've enough piety to burn in casting the spell - Includes the custom portraits used by Dark World Mercenary Commander for compatibility/sanity (note: DW:Reborn doesn't directly use these, you'll need Mr. Treason's DW:Mercenary Commander mod to see them). - Tweaked the Hermione Love Potion targeting as it may not have been working as intended. - Fixed an error with Neko and Elf portrait assignment for kids as they become adults - Added another potential Arena gladiator that could be recruited - Adjusted a couple more images to the large image size - Return of the Bordello Improvement event chain - and it's also been expanded beyond what it was originally - A couple new scripted_triggers and scripted_effects - Fixed an issue where a flag wasn't being cleared properly for one of the Blood Moon events

I've more plans for the Wizards Tower, to include a secret society, but it may or may not scratch the itch that you're hoping for. We'll just need to see once it's added.

I added one item and then stopped because I realized it would lead me to delaying further and I'm already a week and a half past when I wanted to get this update out. I'm also going to modify the 'Spend Time With' decision. I'll also likely take an initial stab at a Secret Society or two. I expect these to be very much a work in progress though.

It was meant to be a warning that I'm already focused in the next update, and what I'm changing will be modified enough that I don't think snippets would be helpful (although part of the changes being made are based on things you shared in the past, so there is that). I'd just feel bad if you go through a lot of trouble posting stuff and I go dark for a couple weeks (which often happens), and when I return I never even see it. Unless it's just a general approach that you've found and want to share. Hope that makes more sense. Not trying to be an ass. Just trying to avoid you sinking time into sharing something that might not get acknowledged.

Reducing lines of code when possible is kind of a habit of mine, you are of course right in prioritising delivering new content. Speaking of which, I can't wait on those further expansion of the brothel you've hinted at!
