Try this bodyslide info, see if this works to fix the clipping with the AVA Outfit.

great fix...just one more thing...the bodyslide info you sent did the trick..however its still connected to a certain preset..for example, when i use the AVA outfit you sent me on say voluptuous cbbe the clips show up but if i put it to unp dreamgirl then all the clips fade away and the outfit is perfectly intact....i was wondering which preset i should match to the new AVA mod you sent me so i can get the most out of it

The sliders are set to the default CBBE Slim body, but when you adjust the sliders to the extreme, it can cause clipping.  Unfortunately there is no real fix I can do with this outfit for that.  What you would need to do is make the necessarily adjustments in the outfit studio.

16.  Open nifskope with the model you exported earlier, on each part of the outfit  nif, add the material path to the material you just created in BSLightningShaderProperty and then add the textures to the BSShaderTextureSet.  Diffuse map goes in the first texture subgroup, normal map in the second, and the specular map in the eighth.  (Check CBBE body for reference)

I fell over here - when I try and open the .nif file in Nifskope, I'm informed that the file could not be read because "failed to load file header (version 140200007, 20.2.0.7)

Can anyone give me some help to overcome this issue?

Been out of town for a while, but I'm back with my new character and some new conversions that I will upload soon.

i would really like a couple of them for my character.

How do I get the Faith outfit? I tried Help Faith 4 but no armor came up.

Edit - Never mind I forgot to activate the esp. Thanks for sharing these.

How would I go about adding the new sliders from CBBE 1.4 to a outfit that was made with CBBE 1.2 I cant seem to get my head around it even tho I have converted armors for my self. I just cant seem to add new sliders to the old, I must be missing something simple.

1.) Load Project.

2.) Load Reference (adds the new sliders).

3.) The zaps are now gone, BUT you can restore them without having to recreate them (step 4 and 5).

4.) "Slider -> New Slider" and create any zaps or extra sliders the outfit had using the same name.

5.) You don't have to actually create the zap again, the data is still bound to the slider name internally and keeps working. Just the slider name has to be the same when you create it.

6.) Select only the check boxes of the new sliders in the list (that way the old slider data stays the same).

7.) Conform All.

8.) Save Project.

Ahhh thank you, it was the load reference thing that was getting me I didn't know if I should or not do it. But thank you that was very helpful.

Anyway to limit or change how much the SkyrimCBBE to FO4CBBE slider morphs specific areas of an outfit?

I've been able to convert several over without much issue, but I'm having trouble with one that is basically a full body suit with a turtle neck. As the body is being transformed to FO4 CBBE the front of the neck gets stretched way too far forward and the upper to mid chest gets large waves/wrinkles. I can get the chest looking OK by using the brush tools but the turtle neck just winds up getting warped to hell.

Only by editing the slider data directly. You can use BodySlide's export slider data function to save it to an OBJ then edit in your preferred 3D modeling software to adjust for the final target then save back to OBJ and import to the slider again. If you're interested in that check the BodySlide's nexus page for help on that. There's a tutorial somewhere in there on this subject.

If you're looking for a novice's easy way to do it inside BodySlide, like just only going to 80% or something for some portion; no you can't do that.

Thanks SlapMe, I really appreciate the response. This is actually great, though I suck at modeling, and was hoping for a way to disable the specific vertices from morphing.

I'd tried to figure out the export slider function but it was always grayed out, so I didn't think it was applicable. After your suggestion I tried again after clicking the pencil for the slider and viola.

It is the SkyrimCBBEToFO4CBBE slider that I need to work with right?

Edit:

Is this the tutorial you were thinking about?

Not the one I thought I remembered seeing but it might be. At quick glance it looks like it covered the subject.

The slider you mentioned is the correct one yes. If I remember, the exported OBJ will actually be the reference CBBE body, so to have it end up where you want you would need to move the vertices back up/out or whatever to where you want them to be when the slider is at 100%.

I should have mentioned needing the pencil thing. In essence the pencil icon puts the slider in edit mode. Hence then the import/export slider data features are viable since it's referencing the slider that is in edit mde.

I won't have a chance to look at it in 3ds until tomorrow, but now that I think about it a little more, it seems like it may be very difficult.

Considering my lack of modeling ability it will already be difficult. Also, since there won't actually be a visible neck to use as a reference, it will be kind of a guessing game right?

Anyway, thanks for the help. At least this will give something to do that will keep me from getting tired of the game too soon.

Thanks again Slap. I did make a little progress with the custom conversiin template, but I am still way off.

I did find a solution inside Bodyslide though.

Mask the specific sections before conforming all for the first time. Takes a bit of trial and error because you can't go back and mask additional areas without restarting, but it does work pretty well. And to a complete modeling clutz like myself, its much easier than using 3ds or Maya.

how did you port them from skyrim?

Do you want a detailed description? It's a simple 30 step process that involves nifskope, material editor, gimp, and outfit studio. If you are familiar with those programs, it's pretty easy.

ill take that 30 step process please I have many I would like to use.
