ww1541 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 excuse me, if you dont mind, can you accept the some of CBBE conversion suggestion? - Nanban do Gusoku - Japanese Southern Barbarian Armor - CBBE Bodyslide http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33289/? Not that many people will actually follow the permissions as stated on Nexus. I'm trying to remain a "good guy" per se. So maybe you'd want to msg that guy and ask him to change his stance on allowing his models to be ported. Ok, i just receive permission to conversion his japanese armor mod. so now we have permission, not just conversion but also can uploading Nexusmods legit.
Kargrin Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Fixed kill bill outfit that ive posted earlier.. neck should be fixed, had to chop some arm textures tho. killbillfix.zip *Ignore above file, it missed the .osp file, check this post: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/55523-cbbe-outfit-studio-conversions-for-bodyslide/page-6?do=findComment&comment=1430481

lordescobar666 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 2. convert the normal maps from skyrim to fo4 (I only have paint.net and gimp and I'm not sure how to convert a skyrim normal to a fo4 normal, been busy reading up on nif conversions). With Gimp and the dds-plugin it is very easy. Just open the normal map in Gimp, and then manually select '3Dc' compression (also don't forget to select 'Generate Mipmaps') when exporting.
SlapMeSilly Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I've started looking at Nanban do Gusoku - Japanese Southern Barbarian Armor. Seems the mod from Nexus is missing panties texture file and it looks like it's from another mod based on the folder name "mak". I spent last night playing with making my own texture which I kind of like and may use if I finish the conversion. Should have a working test later tonight. For the skimpy anyway. The other one I don't know. And I have no clue how to do head pieces. Anyone got tips? Should I include the boots as a single body+boots or have separate attachable boots? I haven't tried doing multiple attachment pieces yet. Which bipeds should I use for that?
herminia Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I remember someone mentioned the femaleheadback nif to port a helmet. Not 100% sure but I don't see any other way of doing it in Outfit Studio without Maya, Blender or 3dmax.
Guest Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Here's a few more I've done. Will upload them soon. Do people prefer them individually, as sets, or everything just thrown into one download? ScreenShot171.png I was hopping to see that one
SlapMeSilly Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Ok so mostly there. Have a esp done. Basic skimpy done. No gloves (dunno how to position them). No helmet yet. I'm pretty happy with my first attempt at a texture for the panties. Good smokey like effect. Does anyone have tips on what to do with the hands? I can't load them into Outfit Studio and use the skyrim cbbe to fo4 cbbe cause it stretches the hell out of the wrist and screws everything up.
SlapMeSilly Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Ok totally dumb question that I've missed the answer to. But do you *have* to convert normal maps from skyrim format (whatever they may be) to 3dc? And if so which 3dc? GIMP shows a BC4 (3DC+) and BC5 (3DC).

No. I personally have not noticed anything wrong with using the skyrim Normal maps.

No. I personally have not noticed anything wrong with using the skyrim Normal maps. Thought I read in some places that prior to using the 3DC compression you should never compress normals as it distorts how they're interpreted. But that the 3DC compression is done in such a way that even lossy it doesn't affect it or something. So In theory it could just make the files smaller to use less vram. Otherwise it shouldn't really matter I would think.
SlapMeSilly Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 TEST TEST TEST Naughty Elf test (FO4).7z NaughtyElf.jpg This is the Skyrim UN7B Elf Veil outfit converted to UUNP/CBBE shape then converted to FO4 shape. Then exported in an FBX format from Outfit Studio... Then loaded into Maya and weight painted with abWeightLifter (one of the tools from Nightasy tutorial) to the FO4 CBBE weights. Then exported back out in a FBX format. Then loaded back into Outfit Studio, exported as a nif file Then I created as set of bgsm files to point in the nif that point to the textures(go figure that shit). Then opened nif in nifskope (set material and texture path) and saved nif.... Then loaded back into outfit studio, loaded the cbbe reference, set base shape, conform to all, checked sliders for clipping saved project as. Then Packed up as a test... A couple of things are needed for this. 1. Create an ESP file to call the nif's in game (yeah I need to learn that FO4Edit esp creation crap) 2. convert the normal maps from skyrim to fo4 (I only have paint.net and gimp and I'm not sure how to convert a skyrim normal to a fo4 normal, been busy reading up on nif conversions). 3. Find the creator of the outfit and get permission to release a FO4 conversion.... Do what you will with this test, if someone wants to finish it... then by all means do so. Here. It works in game. And I made an ESP. I'm a FO4Edit maniac. Lol j/k. Easy to do when you take a skeleton esp and just change some names...anyway. I repacked the archive to include the ESP. Also posting it separate for those who already downloaded and like manual installs or some nonsense. Wow I did a test of converting the normals to BC5/3DC...ewww. Not sure if that's the same format that they're supposed to be converted to but...eww Image samples Original normals. New ones after converting to 3DC Total loss of definition. **edit 2016/03/17 updated archives with esp fix for crafting benches. Naughty Elf ESP only.rar Naughty Elf (FO4).7z
Amnzero Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Here's a few more I've done. Will upload them soon. Do people prefer them individually, as sets, or everything just thrown into one download? Am I being silly, or are you yet to post a download link for the 3 extra outfits? Also, thanks for doing these at all, they're all great

Ah yes, I see the AVA and Jill outfits have been added to the original post and the download zip, but I can't spot the shorts and croptop one (the third outfit on the post I originally quoted): http://www.loverslab.com/uploads/post-326844-0-51728800-1452158621.png Is that one still in the works, or am I simply being silly and not seeing it? Cheers again for porting these over by the way guys

AbbyXox Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 how did you port them from skyrim? Do you want a detailed description? It's a simple 30 step process that involves nifskope, material editor, gimp, and outfit studio. If you are familiar with those programs, it's pretty easy. Hi me i would like a detailed description.. im new at modding but i want to learn your help would be very welcome thanks

Angry Ghost Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Whenever I try to add different shoes to the floral dress or modify the floral dress it tells me some vertices don't have weights.. and when I add different shoes to the model the game freezes... any suggestions? *edit* it appears its the boots I am trying to add to the floral dress from the Simply Clothes Boots... they cause the feeze as I have tried to have those boots replace a set of boots I already have in game... any help?
Kaieen Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 It might only be me but changes done in bodyslide to the Babydoll outfit doesn't work.
SlapMeSilly Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Seems to be ok on my download. You could try loading outfit studio, open the project, conform the sliders, resave project. Then retry it. Or try reinstalling the mod.
