As I've said before, I won't update till I'm done with my current playthrough (and that could be a year from now lol) AND all the mods I love are up to date (and too many of them are from author who are no longer very active...).

 

If you don't use old animations and know how to remove them there is realy nothing to gain from 1.60, and alot to lose. Im on the same boat as chimera.

 

 

I got a reply from the creator - support wasn't actually dropped, it's just that the creature animation limit was reached and surpassed for what v1.59c allows. I'm just going to comment out the animations I don't like and recompile the script for now - been doing that for humanoid animations for a long time anyways! n.nU

The problem with mudcrab is that they have 3 different sizes, and at the moment there isn't support for having 3 different animations. So in game just about every alignment is thrown off.

Wait, if there wasn't a way to differentiate them, then how did they do it for Frostbite Spiders? It seems to do just this for those - the large ones have different animations that the small ones.

 

I mean, unless mudcrabs all use the same race, with 3 different copy+pasted actors that have different scales...?

They all use the same skeleton, just at different scales.

Greatly love this mod and the idea, but if u can, maybe create some male to creature animations? There not a lot of those, so even if they are all just anal animations (Lol mammoth cowgirl), it would be really awesome, helpful, and appreciated. Just waiting for someone to make creature on creature.

But apparently I can't have different animations for each race of mudcrab. So I think, if any of the authors want to add mudcrab to their mansion, pick one mudcrab size and I make an animation for that one size. Then a hentai version of that can also be added to the hentai creatures list.

Honestly I really wanna see a custom mudcrab animation so I can mess around with it on my mod (Dwemer Mechanical Mudcrab).

 

There are a grand total of *zero* custom mudcrab animations, and I want to see how the rigging hold up! n.nU

Well llabsky, I really hope you are proud of yourself.

 

I did some updates to a few things, started a new character, and made it to riverwood. I snuck down to steal something and BAM.... raped by a chicken......

 

I must admit, I was not expecting that one! :D

Does you mod give the mudcrab a new skeleton or just change the textures? Because changing the skeleton may cause problems...

Well they are on the to do list... but I'll need a few things fixed / added before it is worth the time to actually make animations for them.

I'm going to show you peeps why its so hard to make mudcrab animations... with pictures, diagrams, math equations, and with experts backing up my bitching just so you all can see why it will be so difficult.

First of all we don't even have the creature scaling figured out yet, and  Spiders / mudcrabs are scaled to 3 different each.

I'm 99 percent sure it's from http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13004/?

 

But's it has been a while since I download my armour mod list so I COULD be wrong. It's the steel armour.

 

 

looks like a mix between the iron armor from that mod and the imperial bracers and boots.

It's all steel, I reloaded my save to check again. I got it all from using alternate start to join the companions.

Nope, I used the vanilla skeleton. I had a hard enough time pawing through the miasma of undocumentation just tom figure out HOW to make a custom rigged creature... Ended up having to consult some more experienced modders (such as dogtown, the guy who made the Skyrim Monsters Mod).

Wouldn't it matter greatly on what kind of animation you wanted to make? I think one with the mudcrab eating a girl out with it's twitchy mandibles would be pretty easy to make all sizes fit at least sort of well! n.nU
