r6025 pure virtual function call

Recommended Posts

I've been having this issue where skyrim crashes after i finish an animation and I get a run time error code "r6025 pure virtual function call," sexlab FINS and SKSE are up to date my load order is fine and i shouldn't have any mods that conflict with sexlab because it's the only animation mod i have installed, any ideas on what's going on?

I've had this two or three times in the past. I vaguely recall FNIS as the source of the issue (or dual sheath redux?) - it was something with a third party patcher that I had to remove and reload again.

I don't think i have any third party patchers

This error has been plaguing countless Skyrim players for years now. Since Dawnguard came out actually. No solution has ever been found by users as it comes directly from Bethesda shoddy programming.
In all events, if you ever DO find a solution (which I doubt, sorry), just tell us. ;)

Just posted the solution, its a problem with C++ library, the vcredist reinstalls the relevant files and fixes it until something comes along and borks it again.

Try to search in Google for ''Visual C++ Redist Installer V37'' and find the guru3d link, download it and follow the instructions, it's working great and has all VC libraries updated and packed together. It worked for me, and no more CTD in Skyrim/SexLab or other games/apps.

I was getting a runtime error which after a shit load of googling i found mention of a bug that was meant to be fixed by the unoffical patches that relates to the Impatience of a saint quest that you get in the soul cavern http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Impatience_of_a_Saint

After finishing that quest the problem went away so might be worth a try if your still having problems after doing what sila said

It's SexLab, I PMed solution to Ashal a while ago but he hasn't responded yet. In the mean time you can comment out all uses of ActorRef.SetScale in the sslActorAlias.psc and recompile the script. May cause weirdness with character or NPC scaling, I have solution for this too but it must be implemented through SKSE plugin. Hopefully Ashal adds it to next version, but if not I can post it as a separate plugin.

That would be great. Can you post a separate plugin to fix the runtime issue for us here in this thread? Since the update to 1.61 I am randomly having the Runtime error too.

Looking forward to this fix as well. Running the repair fixes things but not for very long. In my case, it happens only when rape spell (from rape spell mod) is cast.

Fuck...I just got this c++ runtime error too right after the sex scene finished. It happened when I used matchmaker to initiate sex. I'm with everyone else. Please upload the fix. :(

I find disabling the offending animation in the mcm fixes the issue. Reinstalling the vcruntime does not fix the issue for some players like myself.

So to figure out the offending animations....

It's not just animations or sexlab, though I don't dispute they may very well be a source.  That is, unless sexlab is firing off when I attempt to exit to desktop or qqq from the console.  I get this error almost every time I exit the game, but seems to only ever be on exit of the game, so I haven't attempted much to fix it outside of reinstalling vcruntime.

I'm also getting this error when initiating animations with various NPC via SexLab Solution.

Installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package, still get the error sometimes.

Yeah I just got it again so I guess it wasn't the animations causing it lol I wish there was a fix bc its the only time I ever crash. (when using sexlab.) at least it doesn't happen all the time. :(

Beside some sexlab problems there can be other reasons: the first thing google gave me was: out of VRAM. Installing & configuring solved it almost everywhere now for me. Console->PCB might help. Or the hotkey to clear VRAM from ENBoost. But there have to be other possible reasons i think, in SkyCasino i got this error in 14/15 cases (yes, i tried a lot) during a certain scene, and after that some times because i was stupid and had 2 different versions of xpmse installed. Not a single one since then.

they are actually no definitive fix for this bug. it can come from multiple way :

- redist

- ram

- heavy script

- and bunch of others things

the only thing sure is this come from dawnguard dlc, if you dont want this bug, just dont install dawnguard dlc (yeah, that suck) .

and no... finishing the quest with book page for the ghost didnt fix this, any actual existing "fix" just delay it.

sadly, bethesda dont give a smurf about skyrim for years , letting all in hand of the community.  as for me i have like 45 friends that play skyrim, some with overpowered alienware pc , and ALL of them finish to get this bug one day or another. its like an curse, you cant escape this.

until an god send genius find an definitive solution for this.
