I posted on the Nexus OSA page, but I'm not sure if anyone regularly checks that. A lot of questions with no responses. So I figured I'd post here too in case someone has had the same problem I have,

 

Every time I try to use OSA I get massive slowdown(Not sure if its script lag.). My FPS drops from 60 to 15. It's choppy and the SFX are delayed. The strange part is that it isnt constant. It only happens when I hit the "Yes" key(7 on the numpad) and it goes away if I hit that key a second time, and then comes back when I press it again. As an example, when I have a thrusting animation playing at 0.5x speed it's smooth, but when I hit Yes to increase the speed to 1.0x it lags. When I hit it again to bump up to 1.5x it goes back to being smooth and so on and so forth. And it works like that every time I use that key. The weird part is that my breast physics work properly when its lagging, but wigs out when its smooth. Has anyone else had this problem?

 

Side note: The schlongs clip through the females stomach during animations. Is there any way to fix that?

 

Also, are these mods dead? They were last updated in August.

 

That's a common issue, and I'm surprised no one bothered to share the solution over there. You're hitting your numpad "home" key (NUM7) every time you click yes. That is the default key for enabling ENB framerate limit. Either change that default keybing for the ENB or if you have it click the "Num Lock" key to lock it from also acting as the "Home" key.

 

Reduce the base shlong size or move it with page up and page down for better alignment.

 

There was an update posted here and I'm guessing it'll be placed in the Nexus once it's polished.

 

 

Well that simpler than I thought it would be. Works like a charm now and no odd breast physics. Though now that I've been able to cycle through just about every possible animation that base OSA/OSex has to offer, I'm a bit disappointed that there's no "finisher" to any of the sex animations though, they just go on forever and ever with no way to finish, you just quit the animation or cycle to something else until you get bored. I'd love to see OSex replace Sexlab because it just trumps it in the animation department and there's so much potential for expansion, like a BeeingFemale plugin, or animations that can only be triggered around beds, chairs, and tables, and initiating OSex via dialogue where it automatically registers the participants rather than you having to go through a menu and manually set it.

 

The only other problem I'm having with it right now is I can't figure out how to get more than two participants and I can't get NPC's to screw each other. They just go into the initial adore stance and I can't control it, they just sit there and I can't get them out of it.

 

Also, where did you see a newer update? Nexus has OSA 1.085B from August 24th, and OSex 1.84J from August 1st.

I appreciate the link! Guess I'll bookmark that and check back every once in a blue moon to see if there's a new version. Just wish there was an easier way to find modules that weren't made by CEO, stuff like Amorous Adventures and the Poser Module. Then again, I guess people would have to be more interested in using OSex too.

I'm having a issue where your character won't begin any scenes when selected (your character just rotates slightly then nothing happens) while when two NPCs are selected it will function normally.

Try opening the OSA menu, then-inspect self>interact>animate.

Unfortunately, it's still the same problem. it seems that my character doesn't interact with this while regular NPCs would. It did work previously but recently there is this issue.

Is there a way to detach the camera so I can move it around freely? It's kind of hard to watch the animations when the camera is constantly bumping into walls, the floor, clipping through the characters, too far, too close, or the characters are laying on the floor and the best camera angle happens to be blocked by a wall, so you end up either watching from a terrible angle or not seeing anything at all.

Press the ` key (tilde key) to open the console command and simply type in tfc and press enter. This activates free camera mode and lets you control the camera however you want.

Utopium over at Nexus has a sweet little mod called "Better Free Camera" that works really well for this.   His "Continue Game No Crash" is really worth checking out too.

Thank you for mention Continue Game No Crash mod. Now I can load my save with this mods installed without CTD most of the time.

Is there a way to detach the camera so I can move it around freely? It's kind of hard to watch the animations when the camera is constantly bumping into walls, the floor, clipping through the characters, too far, too close, or the characters are laying on the floor and the best camera angle happens to be blocked by a wall, so you end up either watching from a terrible angle or not seeing anything at all.

 

Yup, console command "tfc". Toggle freefly camera. It moves pretty quick, so dont be surprised if you try to move from one side of the pair to the other and end up in Falkreath.

Hello everyone, first of all I would keep to apologize for my english but I'm using google translate. I have a small problem with this fantastic mod, which affects the positioning of the characters, to help you understand I have attached two images.

Its because you probably messed with the weight in the console on either the PC or NPC.  if you adjust the weight its messes up the up/down positioning.

Its because you probably messed with the weight in the console on either the PC or NPC.  if you adjust the weight its messes up the up/down positioning. 

 

 

SetNPCweight in the console does not screw up height.  SetScale screws up height.  But, even if he used SetScale, OSA would set the character's scale to its natural CK settings prior to the scene starting, before it set both actor's scales to what is needed for the scene to line up vertically.

 

Two things can cause a vertical height issue.  1.  Using RaceMenu to alter your character's height by stretching bones.  Neither the CK or OSA can tell that it has been done.  2.  One of the actors is wearing HDT heels (does not look like a heels outfit, so this probably isn't it).

Hey Migal thanks for lending some insight into this issue. Is there a way to reverse this? When I start a new game I use a preset I made. The height of the toon is 1.02 obviously changed with RaceMenu. Should I make a new game and a new character with the standard height? I have been having this vertical height issue for quite a while now, and what you posted makes perfect sense.
