Sarathis Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Hate to be a bearer of bad news but RS children do NOT look like that. Here's a few examples from my game: It's cool that you got it to basically work but I'm afraid there's still something wrong with the way the mod is in your game. You should check the comments section on Nexus to see if there have been other people with the same issue and cross reference to make sure you've got the right load order and such.

GimmeBACON Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 I have seen results similar, when another mod adds a child, the child ends up with an adult head morph or something like that. That being said, RS has a playable child race, so I don't know why the 'children' you made have faces of that size and shape. I don't know what you did, but I'm pretty sure you can fix that though (unless you prefer the results you got, in which case more power to you)

Or maybe i misunderstood the OP. i thought they were happy with their children's looks, but then you all come in insulting the children? Or maybe i am misreading the responses too. Everyone has different tastes, and that's okay. Altho, again, maybe i misunderstood the OP, maybe they *are* asking for help on changing the look of their child characters. However, i thought they said they were bragging and proud of themself, soooo i thought that meant they felt happy with the children's looks. Again we all have our own tastes, i run two child characters and have had people think i make weird kids, but i like'em and that's all that matters. i dunno maybe i am over sensitive. i just worried about the OP having a hurt feeling.

Can't we be reasonable, rational people who can speak their minds while not worrying constantly about feelings (which aren't real and tangible, btw)? I took it as the OP saying he messed up. It looks to me like he used the console command "snpcw" on them and it overrode their facegendata. The only fix is to reload a save prior to doing it if that's case.

Wow, those look like real kids. Not like those pedo kids mods they have running around on Nexus

I read it as OP posting a screenshot, and then people noticing that the mod's not set up correctly. But also, those kids look great, what mods are you using?

Hmm, to be honest if the OP wasn't hurt before they saw your shots they will be now : "Hey guy don't listen to the nasty people, your gigantic headed 45 year old kids are fiiiine. I mean, look at how awful mine are!"

I mean, look at how awful mine are!" i actually don't think the OPs kids look 40 >.< Are their heads big? Ya, but some people like that. i like "wide nose bridges", i mean everyone has some quirk they like. i also probably tend to do heads slightly large. i only posted mine because i've had people have critiqued mine characters before, saying i'd done heaps wrong. i wanted the OP to know not to worry about pleasing anyone else. EMm.. although i guess maybe they already know that! i just didn't want their feelings hurt somehow. But ya.. the OP could maybe be tougher than me anyways so maybe doesn't care. But also, those kids look great, what mods are you using? i use a combination of RCOTS and SkyKids, with Girl of Innocence skin, and KS and SG hairs, then the freckles from Freckle Mania. Then it's just playing around with RaceMenu's sliders to get faces i mostly like, and then it's over to the Sculpt tab of RaceMenu to smooth things out and do a few tweaks that aren't possible with the sliders alone. i'm actually surprised by the positive response to my characters from the lot of you. i really appreciate it!

I rather see honest opinions then tighten the freedom of speech to express yourself because people so easy hurt these days(i say less understanding of whats been said) and hurt so fast by littlest of things said here. As long it's not to the extreme or only have one purpose to hurt someone else then i say NO. Some common sense and intelligent so you know the difference between a good command/reply or a bad/evil one. But many also seems not understanding or realise the magnitude of people who don't have english as there first language and less understanding of what been said here many times. Both english speaking and non english speaking should always keep that in mind. My2cents.

GimmeBACON Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I think I'm going to throw a bit of impartial opinion into this, and not tease the op like my first comment. If the op was comparing his work to RS, then, based solely on the mod (which I use) something went wrong. If he/she enjoys the end result, then the 'bug' doesn't matter because he/she is still happy with it. If the op wishes to make it so the characters he/she made look similar to the rest of the RS children however, he/she is going to have to fix it. Since I don't run the playable children part of the mod, I don't know how feasible that would be, but I am certain fixing it is possible if he/she cares to. Now to pure opinion; the op not replying to this thread anymore probably means his/her feelings got hurt, which is the wrong way to handle being on an internet forum, so I would recommend he/she just tell people to stop hating on his/her work instead of avoiding it entirely. Lastly; it would have been so much easier to check op's profile to check affiliated gender, instead of writing he/she every time but oh well.

White Divinity Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I tried roleplaying as a vampire gothic child before, it was great but all the excitement was burnt out in like half an hour so i deleted it lol, i am not the only one who spends alot making a character just to delete it a little after right ? xD
