Ok, I'm sorry for being a bother but now I'm a bit concerned. I've seen that due to a lack of sex, skills learn 20% slower, so I decided to initiate on one of my followers who was helping me for a few (game) days now. Didn't work. Set speech skill to 80 via console. Still her remark was "..." I'm certain I have all required mods installed. SLEN status mod enabled, sex dialogue is also enabled. I have AP installed in case that is a conflicting mod.

You're asking in the wrong place, obviously it's Sexlab that doesn't work for you, not this mod. But to confirm it please download this mod; http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/163-sexlab-matchmaker-updated-09172014/Then initiate sex using it's spells between two NPCs, if it doesn't work then Sexlab doesn't work for you, if it does work then it's this mod that doesn't work for you.

The sex should start at the '...' line, at this point you already convinced the NPC to have sex with you. If the sex does not start directly after that line, you probably have a sexlab issue.

I have an idea and I dont think its an overly complex one (I say that wiih almost zero knowledge on the subject). At this point unless I have something wrong my PC arousal determines if the dialogue shows up but the NPC has no play in initiating the conversation. I know making NPCs approach has always been unstable so far and no one wants unstable. How about if the NPC is aroused enough a dialogue shows if you click on them even if yours isnt high enough. Males to females might be pretty direct where male to male or female to female might be subtle.

Example, I am playing a female and go up to sell to the blacksmith who is male, if his arousal is over XX he would have a dialogue added something like "Hey baby, how bout you throw that rump on my stump?" (ok, probably more lore friendly than that) A male pc to a female smith the female might say "Oh mighty dragonborn I want you to touch MY soul!"  Male to male "Have you ever wondered about life in prison?" Or female to female "You know, I was at this sleep-over one time and I will never forget what happened..." (Again maybe not word for word, but the idea)  Actually even if its just one overall generic line it would give the npc a voice.

This makes sense to me because even if my arousal isnt high and an attractive woman propositioned me, I would pretty much always be HELL yeah! This would give the game women a chance to do that which RL women are apparently too shy to do. (thats what I tell myself )  :D

The dialogue lines you get when you talk to an NPC are lines that you say to them, not lines the NPC says to you. You can't make an NPC 'initiate' when the PC is starting the conversation. That would require force greets, and I hate those with a vengeance, so I'm not going to add any of them ;) There is a variety of mods available that make NPCs initiate something (approach & forcegreet, rape, sex with another NPC, chase a chicken with their pants down, explode) when their arousal becomes very high, you should be able to mix those with SLEN without problems.

Ah. That explains it. After I paid them, they didn't say anything and gave me the list of sex options and after clicking on one, they didn't respond. So I thought my dialogue was corrupted. Thanks for the help.

It sounds like you chose the regular SLEN sex dialogue, not the trainer dialogue. When you choose the trainer dialogue ( "(SLEN) I need training in <some skill>" ), you will then get an option to pay with money or to pay with sex. If you choose sex, you will not get the option to choose what kind of sex, that is up to the trainer to decide, so the sex will start immidiately after that. If you choose to pay money, you will get the standard vanilla trainer widget that allows you to buy up to 5 levels.

See, I thought force greet was when the npc approached you, ok nm, I was hoping it was adding text and a sexlab hook. Thanks for the explanation.

Ahhhh. Thank you and all others who tried to help! Idk why it took me to install SexLab three times before it actually works. Thanks!

Forcegreet is when the NPC initiates dialogues based on a number of conditions (like a high arousal). This will happen when you are within a certain range of the NPC. An example of this is the guy outside Soljund's Sinkhole, who will repeatedly open dialogue with you when you want to mine some moonstone, unless you Usain Bolt past him or bury an axe in his annoying head.

In addition to a force greet, an NPC may also have an AI package that makes them walk towards you until they are within the force greet range, but that is a separate thing. A good example of this is the courier, who will run towards you until he's close enough and then force greet. I find force greets generally annoying because there is no "only when I am not busy doing something else" condition. Bad Bethesda for overlooking that one :)

Note that NPCs will already respond differently based on their arousal. When their arousal is high enough, you do not have to charm them (there will be no "(Charm)" at the end of the dialogue line, and no Speechcraft XP gained), and they will always eagerly agree when you propose to them. For allies the arousal has to be 20+, for confidants 50+, friends 70+ and acquaintances 90+ for this to happen. When I get around to it I'll see if I can restructure that part a bit to make it seem more spontaneous.

BeamerM. - all is working fine. Have no complain at all. There is one Actor's dialogue line that always makes me laugh. It's a dialogue line about "forgetting to pick the (phone) number."

It doesn't bothers me, but it's kind of unusual.

I really love this mod... however it no like me.  :-/   Any time I engage in "fun" with any NPC via the SLEN mod.  My character totally locks up after the scene is over. :dodgy:   Cannot move with mouse or keyboard.  only key that works is the ~ (thank goodness) so I can qqq out.  I've tried to see if another of my mods were interfering.  None were.  All my animations and needed files are up to date.  Triple checked to see if I had neglected to tic a correct box or not.  Ran FNIS ( a couple of times) and lastly started a whole new game.  Still hung up.

Any suggestions?.... please.

it is not a SLEN issue in fact. I had the same problem, but guys on the SL forum helped me. It's a bug with tfc. Turn off the automatic free camera in SexLab MCM and you should be fine. (manual switching of the camera via console or a hotkey is OK)

The console command for freeing the Payer from being lock in "third person" view is "player.tai" (without quotes).

That doesn't ring a bell at all, are you sure it's from SLEN? In which dialogue do you see this?

hehe - it is. It is the dialogue line when approaching to girl for a first time and when Player's relationship with NPC is "0". I will post you the full sentence next time it happens. I look for it in your mod via Tes5edit but couldn't find it.

OK, here is the line. But, It was played very shortly and gone very fast: "You're so beautiful. Make me forget to pick up your line..." This line was visible only for 2 seconds and then, the new line showed up and stayed: " May I borrow the kiss? I promise I'll return it back..."

I thought the line was "You're so beautiful, you made me forget my pick up line." That has nothing to do with a phone number.

The exact line is "You're so beautiful, you made me forget my pickup line", it has nothing to do with phones ;)

The pickup line you get for rank 0 is picked randomly from 4 choices, but Skyrim will always show the first line of a random set for a fraction of a second before it picks the actual line to show. Still, in the long run, you should get this choice 1 out of 4 times.

Well, no problem for me as I said. It's not a bug or issue, but it's strange to me to hear the "picking the line" has nothing to do with the phones since I saw it million times in the movies. It was always referring to the phone line. What else line could it be in this (Skyrim) context?

BeamerM., sorry if I sound like a "thorn in your heel". I do not have any intention to be a "bug" in your thread. I so enjoy in your mod that as more as I play more I love it. So, that line just didn't fit to me in Skyrim context. Nothing else. :)

If I may... :shy:  This misunderstanding can actually lead to some interesting discussion about the language used in TES and in mods made for the series. The "pickup line" (a phrase that should start and lead to a romantic relationship), although really has nothing to do with phones, also doesn't seem appropriate in a fantasy-medieval setting. Or... does it? Do the words "fuck", "sex" or "vagina" fit in here? Does any word of Latin origin have the right to exist in a world where there has been no Roman Empire? Yet, take a look at Imperial names, or just the names of the moons you can see on Nirn's sky...

Sorry for this spam here, but I find linguistic issues in fantasy (generally, not limited to just games) quite interesting. :P (The tongue is for the smarty pants mumbling in this post, i.e. ME).

In common english, a "pick-up line" (a.k.a. chat-up line) is a line used to "pick up" someone for a romance or date, similar to the meaning in "Pickup artist".

Uh, I'm sorry if my comment caused (for me unwanted) discussion. Anyhow, I do not criticize nobody for that particular line. Just shared my thoughts. :)

My apologies BeamerM. Will not happen again.

Edit -forgot to say: Thank you all for explanation of "picking the line". Since English is not my native language, I know this phrase only in one (phone) context.

I don't think it's an unwanted discussion, just not here. But I must say that the dialogues for SLEN are great. I've found nothing in particular that would sound awkward. As I keep repeating - immersion is one of the top factors when I play a game, especially all TES games (well, FO too). So, as long as I don't hear a wench in a tavern screaming "Jesus, you're the best" or "Holy mother, where did you learn that move?!" and things like that - it's OK. :-)

Presumably, since Tamriel has no connection to present day earth, neither would any of the languages. Looking at the names of people and places, linguistically speaking Bethesda borrowed from several languages, like Arabic or Persian for Redguard names, Nordic Germanic for Nord. The dragon tongue is possibly based on Celtic languages (a bit of a guess, I'm no linguist and do not speak a word Gaelic :) ). I think we can simply blame this on the fact that it is very hard and a lot of work to devise a completely new language, let alone training voice artists to speak it.

Practically speaking, it is presented in whatever language you choose to switch the game to (at least the subtitles are), except the dragon tongue which is never translated simply because you're not supposed to be able to understand it. So the usage of present day words is perfectly acceptable I think, since you are looking at a translation to present day language, not at the actual language that the people speak. Of course the concepts still have to exist, talking about phones in Skyrim would be silly, but I think every language no matter where from or how old has a variety of words for 'mating related' activities and items. It is after all the oldest and most important activity :)
