So what is the deal with addiction? It's mentioned once in the mod description and once in the in-game menu, but I'd like to know more. Is it just based on your exposure rate?

It's based on Timerate, not exposure. The more frequent you have sex, the higher your timerate will be (an orgasm adds 5 points, and the value halves every 3.5 days at default SLA settings). The higher your timerate, the quicker your arousal will climb after having an orgasm. So having more sex leads to needing sex again more quickly. This is the standard mechanism in SLA, you can find some more info about it on the SLA page and thread.

The option in the MCM menu enables a dialogue that allows you to buy a Cure Sex Addiction potion from any Priestess of Dibella. When taking this potion it will lower your timerate down the the default value (10), thus curing your character's addiction. Note that the damage done by the enchantment on Dibella's Bow is also based on timerate, so taking this potion will decrease the amount of damage the enchantment does.

It's actually +5 timerate on ORGASM EVENT... which means, if like me, you have Sexlab Separate Orgasms you will have to put that number on +1 or +2, and config SLSO to minimize multiple orgasms for female, i once went into a sex scene with time rate 10 and left with 65 timerate, from a single encounter, meaning you will never get to enjoy the +5% to all skills SATISFIED buff, and will end up always having a penalty from sexual frustration unless you have sex every 3 to 4 ingame hours.

I'm not a big fan of mods that make changes to the perk trees. I think overall Bethesda did a damn fine job and most mods I've seen that do more than add one or two specialist perks are not an improvement on the whole. YMMV of course. It's true some skills are a bit underutilized, but I think the better way to fix that is by adding content that makes use of those skills, rather than changing the way they work. Combat is one of those times when hitting people over the head with a big hammer just feels right, you know :classic_biggrin:

Let me start by saying i reall like your mod it's awesome and dont bog my cpu down with heavy scripts, so KUDOS to you for that.

Now i know you posted this a long time ago and you are probably ot even around anymore, but...

ARE YOU F#&%*NG KIDDING ME????? Or are you a Bethesda secret agent trying to fool us? You can't possibly believe the vanilla skill trees are anything but a pile of hot garbage oO, especially after Perkus Maximus and Ordinator, made them actually useful and FUN to play around with. If you were just joking plz say so...i'm losing faith in humanity by the second as it is...(DRAMATIC MUCH??)...

Okay, I'm having a bit of an issue, not a massive one, but it's still an issue...for some reason SLEN seems unable to detect any of my schlong mods so that it may tag someone male or female based on what they are. Is there some kind of console command to force it to start looking for schlong mods, because for some reason my SOS list in SLEN's MCM is clear.

Not sure if I understood your problem corerctly, But you might want to have a look at the mod Gender Bender. In general, it is supposed to fix schlong detection issues similar to yours.

Well, that's the thing, SLEN is supposed to automatically detect your schlong mods so you can say which schlong an npc(or pc) sets their gender according to SL. For some reason, SLEN has stopped doing that for me, EVEN when I reinstall it. Seems strange I'll have to install another mod for a single feature already in SLEN,(That doesn't work for me anymore. ><) but I will look at Gender Bender for a bit.

Yeah, I wouldn't go the 'install this mod to fix that mod" route either. It is probably a SOS issue if it isn't SLEN.

Do things work fine in a new game, with no load order changes? Have you tried resetting the SOS mod (through its MCM?)

I really like the mod SLEN but I am also curious for SLSO. Can anyone tell me if this two mod work along fine? I ask because on the Site for SLSO there is no Patch for SLEN mentioned.

I don't think SLEN does anything "on orgasm" so it probably doesn't have any issues or need a patch... if you haven't tried it yet.

A. This is why there is an EDIT button at the bottom of your post.

B. I don't know if anyone has done a SE conversion but the name of the Sexlab mod might be different for SE, so this mod might be missing a master. You'll also need Aroused or A Redux, and that would also cause a crash.

Hi all,

I'm new here so please go easy if this question has an obvious answer! I'm aware it's highly likely to be caused by something other than this mod but I thought I'd ask here first. I've had this mod installed for a while now (using it with SE latest version) without any problems. I decided to try a party and as soon as the server arrives my game CTD. Nothing else causes this and I can't figure out why it happens. My papyrus log doesn't show anything out of the ordinary. Any help much appreciated :)

last line of log:

SLEN Sex Party - Info: MoveGuestsToParty moving 4 guests to the party at 1 guest per 10 seconds average

Nevermind, I managed to fix the issue! I had forgotten to load the esp into ck and save it, works fine now

Edit? It is not missing a master and I have aroused.

I'm new here so take what I say with a pinch of salt but all I needed to do was open the esp in ck and save it (to update the form version) it seems to work fine for me after doing that

You are mis-reading the Skyrim SE Compatible block. That is a section title. If it does not say "Yes" or "No", it means the author has not gotten to it yet. Read it as "No".

I have played this mod before.  I don't remember how universal the scope is in regard to dialog but it if it is universal, it doesn't seem to be entirely working in SE (I converted it).  Or perhaps I just don't understand the scope.  Are all friendly/neutral npcs supposed to be approachable?  Guards,  for example, do not have any dialog options (no menu comes up).  I know that is normal for unmodded skyrim.  Is that supposed to change with this mod so that you can have sex with any NPC?  Or must the NPC have a dialog option in vanilla skyrim in order for SLEN options to be available?

EDIT... not only does the above happen, but often, dialog menus with SLEN options almost immediately disappear as soon as the options are shown.  I am troubleshooting this for incompatible mods.  Are any known?

Pretty sure this mod will add options to any humanoid NPC (it never did anything with animals, so adding dialogs to them makes no sense, and it doesn't in my game)

Ok.  I have figured out the cause of the problem posted two posts back.  The problem is SOS addons.  Any time I have those active, it causes the problem I stated above.  In addition, I often get a significant drop in framerate after interacting with NPCs who's dialog doesn't work properly.  I posted this in the SOS forum but  I just noticed that there is an SOS setting for this mod.  It says that status is "installed, inactive."   This is not true.  Why isn't it detecting SOS?

This is the same issue that is causing quirky dialogues in post 2814 above.  Glad I saw this.  Taven are you having trouble with some NPCs not having a SLEN dialog?  (or the dialog options disappear as soon as the NPC finishes his/her opening line?)  Were you able to get this working?

Seems to work fine in SE if you unpack the BSA.  One tweak I'd like to see would be to restrict SLEN dialog so that it only appears for NPCs that match your preferences.  So a straight male PC would only get it for females, a bi PC would get it for everyone, etc.

Are you responding to someone or making a general statement?  So far it works for me but often not not with Vanilla NPC's if you have SOS plugins installed.  Custom NPC's work fine.

For me it works with Vanilla NPCs (tested on Sigrid).  I'm using the full version of Sexlab but only the light version of SOS.

Edit:  Been playing with it all day so far on SE and every NPC I've encountered works fine with SLEN, Vanilla or mod added.

I didn't have an issue with dialogues, just the schlongs not being detected... But, actually I managed to fix this myself(Quite a while ago I might add..probably should have said so. xD) by resetting SOS, then SLEN was able to detect my schlong mods.

Dont know if it is asked before or anything sorry for that.

But is it possible to easy stop the mod to set all males and females separate when it starts one scene?

I have no problem whit some gay sex, but it makes no sense at all.

I have my spouse Serana whit me and she always ends up whit Vilja/Recorder and my male char ends up whit Gregor or one guard. It truly start to annoy me.

Checked all settings, have my male as hetero in all settings.

Did read about Animation Tag editor, but I dont have more place for any more esps in my load.

I don't think there's any reliable way to enforce preferences.  I've run into similar issues.  The best method I could come up with was to deregister all scenes that include more than 1 male but leave the MF, FF, and MFF scenes.  Then if it tries to start a scene with more than 1 male nothing happens.  It does still put males in a female role sometimes no matter what I do but at least it's with a female.  I have a feeling some of the animations are set up to always put the PC in the same position regardlesw what sex they are while others do take sex into account.
