Betto Plotius only have a wife (Julitta Plotius) no niece, they are vanilla NPCs in Leyawiin.
Brotch Calus in Bruma have the niece. ( new NPC added by me )

OK the Betto Plotius delivery is not finished.
If you had sex DeliveryC must be 1
If you have not accepted sex, he will not pay , and DeliveryCno must be 1
He can not pay because he have only 10 gold, and books cost 40.

But I found a bug! If you are Argonian or Khajiit he will not offer sex with his wife and he get angry and say piss off. But I forgot to add the scripts in the dialogs to set DeliveryCno to 1 .

So if you are Argonian or Khajiit you can not finish the quest.

I checked all other dialogs in the quest and no other bugs.

If you are no Argonian or Khajiit I do not know what went wrong.

The Quest:

Player talks to Betto: "Here are the books that you ordered."
Betto offer 10 gold and player say no
Betto offer sex with his wife ( or he tells Argonian and Khajiit to piss off )
Player ask how often he can fuck the wife.
Betto offers one time.
Player want sex "whenever he wants"
Now there are 3 possibilities:
1) Player is male: Betto offers "one time sex"
2) Player is female and disposition is below 75 : Betto offers "one time sex"
3) Player is female and disposition is above 74 : Betto accepted "whenever you want sex" and hopes he can watch.

If you do not accept sex, he will not pay and DeliveryCno is set to 1
If you accept sex DeliveryC is set to 1 ( and dialogs for his wife are enabled )

I will upload a new version with Argonian/Khajiit fix.

What have you done? Are you male or female?

You wanted gold?

You are male and one time sex?

You are female and one time sex ?

Or female and "whenever you want " sex ?

I do not see any bugs in the dialogs and I checked all scripts.

Have you tried to play it again ? Load a old save ( before you was in Leyawiin ) and just play the Betto/Leyawiin part. And after you talked to Betto you use the comsole and enter

I managed to find an older save and redid the quest and it worked fine. You need a better disposition for betto to let you fuck his wife more times, otherwise it would bug

Speaking of Betto's wife, when I tell her about the "deal", she leads me around behind the corral to the wall of the city to have sex, even though there`s a bedroll right next to us in the stable. I assume it`s a mod conflict with better cities or the mod that adds bedrolls all over Cyrodil(I forget which mod adds those). I`m not currently playing Oblivion, so I can`t really help find out why it`s happening. It doesn`t break anything, it`s just mildly annoying. I mention it more as an FYI thing than as a plea for help. It`s probably just a "me" thing, due to load order or something.

Also, Betto pimps his wife to PC forever for a porno mag?! What a douche-bag. He deserves being alone after I enslave her or recruit her as a Plunderer. If I`m feeling nice, I`ll bring her back after she`s been broken and trained and make him pay for her "flowers", and he can watch her sell her ass to anyone passing by.? Oh, wait. Is she supposed to lead me inside, so he can watch? That`d make sense, since "whenever I want" only applies if I`m female. So maybe not a douche, just a perv. My PC can respect that. She`s a nasty slut.

As for the horse version of the puppy mill, I`d rather just be able to assign some slaves to "work" the stables as brood mares. The foals being sold by Godiva.(they despawn shortly after birth) Godiva can keep the money. I just want more work options for my slaves. I never sell them, so a larger variety of work options would be nice. I`m sure you won`t do it, for reasons you stated previously. But if someone did, that`d be cool. Not gonna hold my breathe, though.

I really appreciate your continued work on Oblivion. Thank you. I shall build a Shrine in honor of Saint fejeena.?? "We`re not worthy!"

No fejeena follower. My body texture i do not share. And a shriddan race follower you can do yourself. My face setting are the default shriddan settings.

And Leyawiin is a shit city in vanilla Oblivion. All racists and nationalists. A Argonian tells Khajiit jokes, Human NPCs complain about too high beastrace population ( Human races first! )

Betto is one of the NPC who do not like Beast races in vanilla Oblivion, that's why he do not offer his wife to Argonian and Khajiit.

I use Better City Leyawiin and have no problems.

In Lovers Situations Julitta Plotius fuck the Player in the Five Claws Lodge. She use a vanilla bed.

Both Mods do not use a bedroll or a place in exterior.

I'm having a problem right now where the white Godiva horse has no body... I've tried reinstalling lovers creatures, horse replacer, and this mod, and shuffling their precedence with MO2, but I don't know what's wrong.

The horse has a face, and a mane and tail, and a dick, and a saddle, but no actual body. Which gizmo do I need to install to make it a full horse?

mod organizer 2, which is a vfs mod manager utility that I thought everybody knew about... It's pretty awesome, keeps all your mods and resource packs separate from the main install, but tricks the file system into believing they're part of it, that way you can shuffle around resource packs, change the overwrite priorities, enable and disable stuff without having to pick through individual files or reinstall everything when you want to change something. You can run OBMM through it, and it picks up the filesystem changes that are made by omods, so that you can partition them as separate packs in the VFS. The only thing it has problems with is the dlls for obse plugins. Those are best installed directly to the real file system.

I've currently got the most stable incarnation of heavily modded Oblivion that I've ever had. Playing for hours without a single crash. The only glaring problem is that one missing horse body. The bay and the black one, and all the other horses I've seen in the game are fine. I've even seen perfectly normal white horses at other stables. So, it seems like it's either NOT using the same resources, or it's supposed to, and the ESP pointer to them is wrong.

Anyway, it seems like it's probably NOT a load order problem, because it's almost certainly got to be like a missing resource, like a mesh or textures, and those aren't contained in esps and esms. Really it should be something that's fixed by reinstalling X resource pack and make sure those resources have the highest priority in the vfs, but I've tried the ones I could think might be right and shuffled their priorities.... Maybe like a typo in the esp? But it seems like someone else would have encountered that by now if that were the case.

But here's the load order anyway. For the record, all my mods that LOOT tagged as dirty have been cleaned.

Screenshots: Godiva's white horse, and a perfectly normal white horse at Chestnut Handy Stables.

If you inspect the shadow, it seems like it's a missing mesh, because in theory, if the mesh was present, even without a texture, it should cast a shadow, right? I assume the render engine doesn't consider textures when determining where to place shadows. All it needs to know for that is the geometry, unless you're getting into advanced transparency shadows, which I really don't think Oblivion uses. But only the visible parts seem to cast a shadow.

I replaced the Godiva horse pic to one where you can see the shadow thing more clearly, after trying some stuff from fejeena's link in the earlier post, which I hoped might fix it, but clearly did not.

You know, I noticed that you didn't like LOOT when I read your link before, but it's always given me really good results, even if it goes against conventional wisdom sometimes. My intuition is that it's actually smarter than BOSS and looks deeper into the files, can figure out things BOSS can't. I had to do a lot of manual organization when I was using BOSS, but I've never had to do it with LOOT. I don't actually KNOW that that's the case, but it matches my experience. I've always had really good results with it. Maybe it's also partly due to MO2, which really changed my experience modding oblivion.

It's also been my experience that the newer versions are a lot less picky than the ones when I started using these mods.

But if I have any further problems, I'll look into organizing it as you suggest. Thanks for the fixed normals, and thanks for your awesome work on your awesome mods over all these years! I wish there was some kind of award we could give you above and beyond basic appreciation.

Confirmed: Putting normal map in appropriate folder fixes invisible horse problem.

I have a question about it.

Is this mod end after deliver 1,2 eddition book for 4 people? I have no idea what to do next.

And, I think there's a error between this mod and tonas mod store.

The terrain is displaying strangely in the game.

When I list 'tonas mod store' after 'horseriding' , terrain about horseriding(tomb) has an error.

and, when I list 'horseriding' after 'mod store' , terrain about mod store is displaying strange.

Thank you for the nice mod. I really enjoy it.

Many years ago I used Tonas mod store, yes it's near Godivas house.

Too many Oblivion mods to make all compatible.

Tonas mod store only added a house, right? So it should be easy to make it compatible with horse rider.

If you don't know how to do it upload your Tonas mod store esp ( i only have a old version ... and I don't know on which hard disk and folder it is. )

EDIT: I found my old Tona version (1.4) . Shit the mod use ths same cells. -22/22 and -23/22.

Tona should be loaded before horse rider , so only a patch would work. ... but then you have another esp ( or you merge the patch esp with the horse rider esp )

Oh I merge them and it work well. It has some weird terrain, but much better than before.(I use tona's v2.0, on nexusmod site)

I'm a little disappointed that I have to complete horse rider quest again...

I want to add my experience here (Seems Fejeena has it too, dunno if anyone else):

I have the 2020 mod version.

I had an issue where I kept CTDing when "getting mounted" with any gear on Fejeena's horse (the Bay One). When I first started the mod it didn't CTD, I checked all gears, they didn't show, but I could ride the horse and everything worked fine. At some point though I got a 100% CTD everytime I tried to "get mounted" with gear, but I could ride the horse vanilla style. The mechanics went like this: I activate horse / press get mounted / get on the horse (the whole animation plays how I get on the horse) / when I'm supposed to assume the "get mounted" animation I get a CTD.

HOWEVER, the issue got fixed and here's how: I mounted the horse vanilla style to get to the stables, obviously after a while the horse threw me off and started raping me, once it was done, I for shits and giggles tried to "get mounted" again and it worked. It even showed the ropes (the mesh). I tried reproducing this bug again - Quit the game. Launched it, loaded save, pressed "get mounted", jumped on the horse CTD. Launched game again, loaded save, pressed "service horse" played the sex animations, once it was done pressed "get mounted" and I jumped on the horse and got in position all fine (though it didn't show the gear mesh, I had chosen other one. My past experience showed that only "ropes" worked so I usually used only those). I don't know if this helps Fejeena solve this issue, but I've had it before with this mod too. In the past only ropes gear worked, all others CTD'd me, so I used that. Now all 4 CTD me, unless (it seems) I have sex animations with a horse (or that particular horse?) before I try to "get mounted".

P.S.

I honestly don't mind. If I have to see it as I have to service the horse every time I launch the game fresh to warm it up so to say, before I can mount it, I will ;

In my game all gears work.

An I have more crashes when I ride the horse, not when I am under the horse.

When I get on the horse to ride ( vanilla) and start with a turn my game crash. I have to start forward or backwards and after 1-2 seconds I can turn without a crash.

I see, in that case I should count myself lucky as I have less bugs and CTD conditions than you. I dare not share my mod load order as I have a suspicion it is a Massive mess (even though I've checked with quite a few LL mod load order guides when making it) but honestly the game has never been more stable for me, I have no CTDs with 210 mods Except the horse "get mounted" one and boy are there weird shit happening in my game all the time, making me wonder how does the game not crash..

Anyway, I still salute you for the amount of work you've put into your mods.

If the quest has not yet started you can use console command : resurrect ( first click on the dead Godiva )

Yes you can set the essential flag,

Godiva is NOT set to respawn. ( respawning quest NPC are very bad. the respawned NPC will be a new NPC )

Respawn: 3 days. But don't enter the cell during the 3 days ! 3 days after your last visit / or near that place if not a interior cell.

I remember saddles of donkeys, guars, and ponies with saddle-bags.

I am sure there are also some for Horses. Then you can remove the vanilla saddle and add the new saddle when you buy one from Godiva.

And a inventory for creatures companions: Yes easy and in many companion Mods. Place a chesst in game (e.g. testinghall or in Godivas house below the floor ) Add Ref ID.

Change the script when you activate the horse, a option to open the inventory.

But I would not add saddle-bags to the riding gears. The meshes are shit . I already cleaned and reduced the meshes but some still cause Framedrops. And I am sure some of the crashes the horse mod has are because of the riding gear nif.

But vanilla horses have no inventory , so I will not add a inventory. The horse should fuck you, not carry your luggage. :classic_smile:
