Lovers Horse Rider fejeena edition

I am back. 

Redownloaded/reinstalled every Lovers mod I was using, from LAPF to LHR2. 

 

Same issue. 

 

As a last resort I redownloaded MessageLogger from Nexus to see what was causing the CTD (if you recall, if I attempted to "mount" again after the first time, the game CTD's. I've attached the messagelog.txt, but I will also post the contents in a spoiler below. 

 

I'm hoping that someone with more tech literacy than myself will be able to see what is going on, but it seems there might be something with the skeleton.nif. I see other things going wrong but I am not entirely sure what those things mean. 

 

Please don't make me use nifscope i dont wanna :(

Have you tested it without other mods? Only Lovers and maybe the body replacers.  And start a new game, no old save.

Have you installed  all horse rider files ?  mehes and textures folder.

This error message is strange.

"Actor 'xLoversGodivaBay' needs to have a 'skeleton*.nif' model instead of 'Creatures\Horse\LHRSkeleton.NIF'. "

Check your folders if you have the LHRSkeleton.NIF in the right folder.

 

Script 'xLoversRapemanQuestScript', line 12: failed to evaluate expression.   ? Maybe OBSE not working ?

 

And again, a function the game can not read. OBSE Problem?
 Unable to find function definition for command 16391 in script 'xLoversSatUpdate'.

And what is xLoversSatUpdate ? I loaded all my Lovers Mods and searched with TES4Edit, but no xLoversSatUpdate.

 

xLoversCheckObse2QuestScript  That is the Lovers with PK.esm OBSE check, and it can not find OBSE. OBSE not working or nt detected.

Use OBSE21 !! Not a xOBSE version !  Or use my Lovers with PK.esm without the OBSE check

Lovers with PK.7z

Replace your esm with my esm.  But I think your OBSE is not working, Only removing the OBSE Check will not help.  Use OBSE21 ! ! !

OK from the start

 

Oblivion not in C : program files ! Never in  Program files x86 !!!  Can be in C but in a new /own folder.  Same tools  may work wrong or not at all if the game is in program files.

OBSE installed : OBSE21  !  Use it for testing. NOT a xOBSE version.  ( you can change OBSE later if you really need xOBSE )

Pluggy 125c or 132

archive invalidate with OBMM or Wrye Bash or manually or the OBSE plugin SkyBSA.  ( Best SkyBSA)

(Body Replacers)

Then LAPF.   Test if sex works.  Game start with OBSE, How, depends on whether Steam or Disk Version.

Then LoversCreatures.  Let it overwrite ! ! !  If must overwrite some LAPF files  !

Then Horse rider. Let it overwrite ! ! !

No other Lovers Mods !   Then test your game.

Load order posted below. Used BOSS to resort and went through manually to adjust several plugins. Used your load order as a guide. Please note: presently, all mods are disabled except for DLC and the bare minimum required for LHR. Few things added, few things taken away. There may be a few out of place. Clerical error.

Used your .esm but prior to doing so the Logger was still returning a 0 on the OBSE check, even after uninstalling 22 and installing 21.

Sex with NPCs and creatures appears to be working fine. 

I have no idea what xLoversSatUpdate is. I had assumed it has something to do with LoversSatisfaction. It is not presently showing up. 

And yes, I installed the textures and meshes that came with the zip file. 

Edit: Realizing that I haven't confirmed this; Oblivion is stored in a completely different drive, D:.

Your game does not like the Creatures\Dog\WolfBody.NIF  from LoversBitch .   "Hide the skeleton before you export body parts"   In the nif is only the body, no skeleton.

No mod with dogs/wolves nif installed after you installed LoversBitch?

and

the  'xLoversGodivaBay' skeleton   " needs to have a 'skeleton*.nif' model instead of 'Creatures\Horse\LHRSkeleton.NIF "   But that is wrong, the skeleton for the horse xLoversGodivaBay is set to LHRSkeleton.NIF in the esp. No other mod can change that, these are unique settings and skeleton.

 

The OBSE check error is gone. at least one success.

You can try to load LoversHorseRider2.esp below LoversCreatures.esp . . . but I don't think that changes anything.

And  D drive is OK. I didn't install my game in C either.

I've stumped the great fejeena! This is not a feat I am proud of. 

The Wolf thing, I'm not so worried about I think. That's brand new. 

I am going to manually go through, once again, and delete every piece of the LHR2 mod. I will then reinstall. If I am still getting this error, that'll be it for me, and I will just have to sadly go without strapping myself under my steed. 

I might do a crash course in editing mods and seeing if I can repair the references. 

That said, I will be rather busy with the Oblivion Remaster. I am very excited to see what will be accomplished with the new version.

Here with an update. 

I think there may be something wrong with the .nif and .kf files. Either that, or the .nif and .kf files are not applying correctly because of a script error somewhere.

I went through and took a look at the animations in Construction Set and nifscope, despite having little to no experience. What I found was the following:

First off, the animation is at ground level for some reason.

Second, all the rigs look like this in nifscope (pictured is the FaceUp rig):

I have no experience in Construction Set or NifScope (which is why I was so hesitant to dig through the .esp). Evidently, there should be a transition between these initial poses and the actual IdleAnim but something isn't quite executing properly. When it comes to the scripts I have no idea what I'm looking at. 

I can move this to another forum if need be, but I would greatly appreciate your insight. You've been tremendously helpful so far. 

EDIT: I reinstalled everything, including Oblivion. Same issue. However, the Console did give me a return that I haven't been able to recreate; something along the lines of
"Warning! TestingSlut is not in a KnockedDown state! Applying Reset---".

There were a few more words after 'Reset' but I sadly cannot remember them.

Only in connection with horse, human and animation is the object in the right position.

 

Your First screenshot. no Horse !

Your Second screenshot. It is a armor, the player/NPC equips it.

And  with the horse: Not sure how the game set the exact position, but the NPC-riding gear is right and the height is also right, just shifted slightly forward.

But in game it is a combination of horse Idle or forward kf file and the riding gear kf file, but in NifSkope I can only load one animation.

And my Mod is from July 5, 2015.  17,692 downloads.   ZAZHorseRides is from 2011  and use almost the same riding gear,  and you say the nif and animations are wrong?! 

So maybe some who downloaded the mod never played it, but I think over 10,000 were able to play it, despite the "wrong NIF and animations" .

 

It was a lot of work to photoshop this image with the animations to hide the fake animations and Nif.

Oh, I see! So that's how CS and NifScope renders those respective files. Understood. 

 

I meant no offense; I was speculating about what could be wrong with my game. Did not mean to imply that the mod itself was broken; evidently it works great! Its just that somethings wrong on my end.  While I haven't been active, I have used this mod before on an older computer around 2017. Worked fine then. I simply cannot fathom why it's not working now. 

 

From here on I'll explore my options on my own. Thank you for your help! I will in the meantime run playthroughs without this mod until I can figure out what is wrong. Very sad. 

 

If I ever figure out what is wrong, I will try to remember to share here. In the offchance someone else experiences the same thing, although I doubt anyone ever will.

This will be my final post here. I finally got it working.

Evidently, LHR is incompatible with this sneaky mod that doesn't have a .esp and I hadn't realized was still installed somehow while performing all my tests. I must have accidentally reactivated it after the reinstall.

I don't remember ever downloading it, yet it has found itself activated in my WryeBash folder every single damn time. The breathing .kf from this Blockheadized NoMaam Breathing mod was messing with the riding .kf. I don't even know why I have this stupid mod. 

No other idiot will ever use this combination of mods. Thank you, fejeena, so much for your patience. Feel free to make fun of me as much as you please. I truly feel like an idiot lmfao.

At any rate, I shall be strapped under my horse. Thank you again ❤️

I don't think BetterCity deletes vanilla houses and NPCs.   Maybe problems with Open City Mods

I don't know .  I don't have Battlehorn Castle installed.  

Leave the Battlehorn Castle ESP active, travel to the location and see what it looks like.
