PNo4 Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Where I started 1 and currently using 2. 1. Realvision ENB (266c)2. Tetrachromatic ENB (No clue what version, since the author renamed them all the time, Blue Monday, Colossus, Singularity) I think I'm using one of the bolded.
spoonsinger Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 back in earlier days - project matzo kyo version. nowadays im going for vanilla look so vividan was the enb i used for my previous playthrough currently im using vivid weathers with its own ENB and i like how my game looks in these screenshots : Vividian ENB Vivid Weathers ENB That location is my favourite in the whole game, that whole scene always looks yummy. I swear, every enb author uses it as their tweaking loc 'cos I've never seen a screenshot taken there that doesn't look lush as fuck. I know right? https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/74981-2-1463398340.jpg https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/50501-3-1444669300.jpg I'm going to have to agree. Vividian ENB with Vivid Weather, because it's the closest I can get to Grim & Somber via Vivid Weather's MCM without the fps hit. (also you can make it happy and cheerful if you are in the mood for that - which basically means more saturation). (Note - I did have to fiddle with the water reflection in the Vividian ENB to stop that horrible hard line at distance, but I suspect this is a personal machine based problem as nobody else pointed it out on that ENB). ps Not sure how good it would be on the O/P's setup though. It does seem to be quite light weight, but haven't tried it on anything lower than the thing I'm using at the moment - 8120 with a 970).
RmX93 Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 1. The Grim and Somber (completly different than other ENB's but beautiful!) 2. Spectra 1.0b (downloaded from reddit) although I cant tweak it right like on these screenshots: 3. Seasons of Skyrim (nice real ENB for high-end rigs) 4. Project ENB (so real and good perfomance) 5. Rudy (I didnt tried but on the videos and screenshots looks amazing) 6?. And the last! The most popular ENB on nexusmods! That was my first ENB, RealVision ... crap... oversaturated... and not real at all...
atasly Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I used Realvision as a starter, switched to Bleak, but couldn't stand its lack of colors (But I admit it can look gorgeous) then Project ENB (cause I used Climates of Tamriel), kept it a long time. And now I'm trying Anko and i feel like rediscovering skyrim ( www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56812/? )
DenjiXMakima Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I just can't find anything better for my taste than "Seasons of Skyrim" -ENB ... I rather would use the newest ENBSERies v0.305 for TES Skyrim but sadly the ENB requires v0.262. unlike other enbs this one provides a beautifull lighting and atmosphere, I found most of the other ENB's pretty depressing and gloomy or like realvision or sharpshooter too colorfull.
spoonsinger Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I've used the following ENBs during my playthroughs: 1. Bleak (High Quality Preset) ----> This is my personal favorite and preferred ENB config. It seems it is the only config that allows me to play the game with all bells and whistles turned on. I actually play the game in this config, and not without it. My average fps linger between 35-50, I used to get constant 60 when I had a 980 last year but due to urgent need of cash sold it to a friend. I later upgraded to a R9 390, and even though its technically faster than 970 and almost equals 980, it terribly lags on Bleak even with high fps settings. 2. Diethardt's Elite ENB: A personal request. I requested Diethardt to replicate an ENB which looked similar to Bleak. He cooked up his own version, which ended being quite different, but very eloquent and under right lighting conditions, quite realistic. It gives great fps too even with all settings turned up. My initial screens of Zuleika were taken on his ENB. 3. K Northern Lights ENB: For some reason I didn't like it very much. Colors were super saturated, it gave my character a weird glow, and all other lighting effects were super blown up. Not to mention the fact I had shit fps even with the 980. I didn't try it for very long. 4. Serenity Extended_FX & Tranquility_ExtendedFX ENB: When I resumed playing Skyrim after nearly 6 months hiatus, I had bought a 980 at that time. I was looking for a high quality ENB yet with performance that justified turning up the settings unlike K ENB which just butchers your fps for little quaity difference. I ended up with both of these. They give a very natural skin tone lighting effect which looked very realistic and had very nice day/night cycles too. Fps with 980 on the extreme preset lingered between 35-50 fps. https://imgur.com/oQJw95q https://i.imgur.com/EBip436.png I hope this helps to differentiate between the different ENBs I have tried. From those pictures:- Bleak is my preference. Diethardt's is wotever K Northern Lights - is Final Fantasy Serenity Extended_FX & Tranquility_ExtendedFX ENB: - Really?, (what were you thinking). (Mind these perceptions might be down to my screen calibration and is therefore totally subjective).

Indoor, outdoor, well-lit, poorly-lit. There's way too much variation for those pictures to be used as a comparison of how the ENBs look.
SunAddict Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 CR ENB 265 is my favourite. This person's screenshots made my jaw drop when I first saw them:
spoonsinger Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 CR ENB 265 is my favourite. This person's screenshots made my jaw drop when I first saw them: Ok, I assume you want comment. 1st Picture) Looks like my modded Oblivion, (not a bad thing in any way) 2nd Picture) Looks a bit screen archery rather than game play. Also the metal banding on those barrels is not very good. (I suspect you haven't installed a better texture). 3rd Picture), Yuk! However if that's a random example for you in game play, I suspect I would be happy with that. (It's subjective).
Arhon Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Purity I dont need anything. Just that alone made my Skyrim more awesome.

naarasjakki Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Rudy ENB is my favourite by far. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41482/?
Wast1980 Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 K ENB addicted since several years... Right now K ENB PureLights, in addition with a summer overhaul (http://aceeqmodding.weebly.com/summer-overhaul.html). Realism or Fantasy? Lore or Immersion? My char: Would be cold in vanilla Skyrim
Guest Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Insomnia all the way. I tried several different popular ones: Serenity, Elder Blood, Tetrachromatic, Kountervibe, Bleak/Unbleak, Saraan Suum, etc Always went back to Insomnia.
Hayleyrose2323 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 My favorites were Sharpshooters classic enb and Visual Immersion III. The one im using now is ZAAK LIIR ENB 4.5- Dark Cinematic Its really amazing! I tweaked it a bit and honestly theres so many moments I stopped and looked around and was just in shock, especially outside of Solitude with my environment mods it looked so real. I even tried to recreate it in fallout 4. No luck yet, but im close.
RomeoZero Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Many quality ENB's are not even released, for AMD I saw only 3 presets and 1 of it mine For Nvidia users I really recommend CR ENB, it has nice effects as bonuses and a good weather params.
Captain Awesome Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I like my Skyrim to feel as cold and rugged as the Rockies, so I use Mistveil "Whispers of Winter" ENB. Now, if I can find 2K textures that fit with this feel, my game will be perfect.
mixtru Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Im switching between Dahakas enb and TKRE Enb. TKRE Enb is an edited version of rampage enb and it looks great. Dahaka is the enb with the best lighting and the most realistic looking one ive tried so far, it also comes with a auto installer. Here are some images taken with TKRE Enb Here is a video showcase of Dahakas Enb by hodilton
skyrimcrap Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Usually anything that doesn't make me wanna rip my eyeballs out and place them in someone's hands. I'm using a customized Project ENB that I've used for a few years and don't plan on changing it.
Lodakai Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Tetrachromatic and Spectrum spectrum is pretty easy on the fps. Tetrachromatic has done some neat things with custom ENB weathers.
Sylandras Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I personally always preferred Grim and Somber - Azura edition Looks amazing. Performs the best out of any I personally tried. Very small frame drop when using it. A lot of ENBs are too bright (not my preference) and perform bad. You can see a few screenshots here https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/images/110/15461404-1422778202.jpg https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/images/110/15461404-1422778152.jpg https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/images/110/15461404-1427258414.jpg that was also with parralax textures.
