oh, i've seen that one before, never tried it though; its got a nice anime vibe going for it.  how hard is it on your system?

Ha, "File under moderation Review"!  :P

I do not use ENB, for what?

Firstly: there are very good texture mods, which do not affect the performance of my PC!

Secondly: almost all ENB mods have the side effect, that the fps very strong fall back!

a mod should improve a game and it does not deteriorate !!! ;)

that don't make much sense, most retextures deteriorate fps too

you may not see anything by adding one, 4 mo here, 6 mo here, that don't change anything

compare with vanilla skyrim, mods are about 10 fps in my game

enb eat 5-15 fps depending on what there is to render, it jump in cities or with parralax water

LOxKsdm.jpg

qasmoke look much better with enb

this spot suck

m4nhx8L.jpg

now it suck less

YiiFq3q.jpg

the ones that use dof shouldn't waste fps on mod that replace lods

since the dof is there to hide those crappy lods

i said enb EAT 5-15 fps

have 20-30 fps most of the time

without enb, that would be 25-40 fps

maybe 27-44 fps without v4 and the 2 crappy high poly outfits

without mods that would be 37-54 fps

if you lose 40 fps with an enb, either that enb is crap, either your settings are crap

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I tested various ENBs, I do not know what it is the drop so much the fps.  :(

As far as I know, ENBs eat a % of your FPS.

So you losing 5 - 15 on your setup, might be more/less on someone else's.

ha I now know what it is, why with me drop the fps so strong!

one must when using ENBs, Antialiasing and Anisotropic Filtering to zero, to reset!

and that will I certainly not do. ;)

How Rudy ENB react in term of FPS on low-end rig ? Im using realvision right now the performance one.

My pc is quite old now:

Intel core 2 Quad Q8400

8 go DDR2 ram

580 GTX 1,7go vram

win10 @64 bits

DH enb is pretty nice in terms of interior shots and skin looks nice too.

Given the right circumstances, the lighting can also be really good.

I have tried Rudy for my GTX 670 2GB VRAM, 8 GB, i5 3.2GHz rig using the .305 enb and it has given me stutters.

Most stable for me is the performance version of Tetrachromatic ENB by DPSlothKing, usually at 40-50fps outdoors. Try both, maybe Rudy would work for you!

Tetrachromatic is my favorite so far.  It seems to keep up with the latest binary updates and I personally think it has an awesome balance between fantasy and realism.  But I haven't quite found the one, end-all pure realism ENB yet.  Anyone got any suggestions?

I tried Rudy without good result, 27 fps outside with the non-vanilla set-up. Quite heavy for my rig. Trying another one right now, RealLike ENB and i can keep a good framerate with it.

Gonna give a try to Tetra.

Glad to hear that you're able to use RealLike ENB!

BTW - a few things I picked on the ENB forums to add to your game's performance when using ENB:

* Disabling DOF or getting Dynavision as an alternative if compatible with the ENB preset of your choice: Dynavision

* In your ENBlocal ini set:

UseDefferedRendering=false

* Optimize your textures unless specifically mentioned by the author of the textures mod you're using: Ordenador

* Customize your ENBLocal ini based on your hardware specs

* Tool to play with different ENB Settings: Volvaga's Tool

Have fun!

I've used the following ENBs during my playthroughs:

1. Bleak (High Quality Preset) ----> This is my personal favorite and preferred ENB config. It seems it is the only config that allows me to play the game with all bells and whistles turned on. I actually play the game in this config, and not without it. My average fps linger between 35-50, I used to get constant 60 when I had a 980 last year but due to urgent need of cash sold it to a friend. I later upgraded to a R9 390, and even though its technically faster than 970 and almost equals 980, it terribly lags on Bleak even with high fps settings.

2. Diethardt's Elite ENB: A personal request. I requested Diethardt to replicate an ENB which looked similar to Bleak. He cooked up his own version, which ended being quite different, but very eloquent and under right lighting conditions, quite realistic. It gives great fps too even with all settings turned up. My initial screens of Zuleika were taken on his ENB.

3. K Northern Lights ENB: For some reason I didn't like it very much. Colors were super saturated, it gave my character a weird glow, and all other lighting effects were super blown up. Not to mention the fact I had shit fps even with the 980. I didn't try it for very long.

4. Serenity Extended_FX & Tranquility_ExtendedFX ENB: When I resumed playing Skyrim after nearly 6 months hiatus, I had bought a 980 at that time. I was looking for a high quality ENB yet with performance that justified turning up the settings unlike K ENB which just butchers your fps for little quaity difference. I ended up with both of these. They give a very natural skin tone lighting effect which looked very realistic and had very nice day/night cycles too. Fps with 980 on the extreme preset lingered between 35-50 fps.

I hope this helps to differentiate between the different ENBs I have tried.

Im using Goddess preset and the 121212 ENB with the Seasons of Skyrim DOF... everything else is Purity except the 2k texture mod... i believe cots is running in the background as well. this is the best set up i've created so far and im quite happy with the results.

Spectra's excellent. It kind of reminds of Snapdragon, but more vanilla-friendly and with a nice cool bluish tone. I'd recommend it to folks looking for an ENB that's good for both character and landscape screenshooting as it's well balanced for both.

I use RealVision Re-Edited with somepersonal tweaks beacuse its a good balance between what i like and what i can actually run without murdering my system

Screenshots i uploaded on the mod page  (all mine)

Some i tried and loved but framerate was below 15fps were

- Grim and Somber: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50501/?

All of them are beautiful. I am forced to pick one then it would be Jyggalag since i find it more "original" than others.

- Northern Lights: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58534/?

back in earlier days - project matzo kyo version. nowadays im going for vanilla look so vividan was the enb i used for my previous playthrough currently im using vivid weathers with its own ENB and i like how my game looks in these screenshots :

Vividian ENB

Vivid Weathers ENB

That location is my favourite in the whole game, that whole scene always looks yummy. I swear, every enb author uses it as their tweaking loc 'cos I've never seen a screenshot taken there that doesn't look lush as fuck.
