Guest Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 This is just to better understand the DLC demography of LL and its users. Skyrim has gone on sale in the last 6 months about 3 or 4 times now with all DLCs being worth 5 dollars or less so I was curious if everyone has all 3 DLCs by now.
Coopervane Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 There's going to be a few holdouts who don't, but i'm pretty sure most people own all three by now. Â Â Personally i didn't bother getting Hearthfire till it was real cheap in a sale, it just doesen't do anything i was at all excited about, but since there's a good number of mods that require all three, i got it for the mods.
Guest Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Hello @Grine. Amazon still sell the full legendary edition (all DLCs) for just $ 20. Â
aqqh Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Got my LE on UPlay for bit less than 10€.  I guess by now you can safely expect that vast majority does have all DLCs. This could be good to know if someone would want to make a mod that would require those.
Shadowhawk827 Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 All of them of course, like any true denizen of SkyrimÂ

Yeah it's gone on sale a bunch of times. Last I checked you could get everything on Steam for $14.95.  But I'm a complete moron. I bought Skyrim for $21.95.  Then I bought Dawnguard for $21.95. Then I bought Dragonborn for $21.95. Then I bought Hearthfires for $5.95.  Grand total = I am a complete fucking imbecile
Nightmyste Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 got the anthology (all games) soo yeah all DLC's and the old elder scrolls games in one neat package set me back an esimated 30 bucks living in denmark and can't be bothered to find the exchange course

carnifex Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 The funny thing is, I own all the DLC, but I haven't played through any of them.

Vykroft Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 It happen... but you can't wait 2 or 3 year till the full version appear with a discount... I bought the original Skyrim for PS3a few years ago, and then had to buy the PC version for the mod...
Guest Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Hello @Grine. Amazon still sell the full legendary edition (all DLCs) for just $ 20. Â Well there you go! a fifth sale of Skryim legendary edition, haha. I guess modders can start using all 3 DLCs as requirements since everyone pretty much owns all 3 DLCs by now.
Guest Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 About everybody has all the DLCs. But put them as requirement only if you need something from them. Or your mod will be just slower to load. Â
winny257 Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Hearthfire DLC is not DLC, only a "gap filler". Â Â

I'm not sure I remember the DLC costs accurately.  I bought Skyrim for $59.95.  Then I bought Dawnguard for $29.95. Then I bought Dragonborn for $29.95. Then I bought Hearthfires for $14.95.  PS Not in that order Dragonborn was not out when I bought Skyrim.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 I bought the TES Anthology and it had included the legendary edition for Skyrim. I paid a little over 80USD for it. Comes with Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim.
Killing Joke Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Like most people, I have all of them. I've made the stupid mistake to buy Skyrim when it was released. Not only because I've paid to be Bethesda beta tester, but also when it came to sales, buying legendary edition was cheaper than to buy just the DLCs. So I got screwed and had to buy LE, ending with a wasted license for a Skyrim copy I couldn't even give to someone else.
Gameplayer Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 I bought Skyrim the day before the launch. Â Got all the DLC when they were first on sale, held out on Harthfire but later said fuck it, cause I wanted to use some interesting house mods. Â I don't mind it one bit, I've easily gotten 50 X entertainment hours per dollar spent. Â More if you consider time spent modding and making mods for the game. ---- Â I don't play much other games either, so its not like I spend much on video games at all really....I have a very small game library.
aqqh Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 About everybody has all the DLCs. But put them as requirement only if you need something from them. Or your mod will be just slower to load. Ye - but for now there are very little mods that would change something in Solstheim for example. And it seems that it is safe to say that vast majority has Dragonborn DLC so it is not a problem if someone would want to make one.
NickNozownik Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I have all of them mainly to make my game compatible with all the mods. Dawnguard quests are nice and I really missed crossbows from Morrowind, they're a very nice addition. New Solstheim from Dragonborn was fun to explore, but I don't even touch the MQ with most of my characters so I ended up opening some of the doors with "unlock" console command just to explore it without doing the MQ. Heartfire's Lakeview Manor is a one big crashfest, but many mods require it so it's a must have.
921836774 Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 yeah, maybe I do have a totally poor Dlc I have missed all the 6 time of the 5 dollars and I'm waiting for the 7th
