I am stuck in the mission the strengh trial, when I'll get to styr e yngride can not do anything, because not any choice get me to continue the mission.

 

They are supposed to make a scene...

 

Setstage it.

 

 

The scene starts but when they talk about nothing happens, just stay standing doing nothing. Thanks

what is the setstages for the quest

 

It's a script.

 

You can use it though the console.

 

Like this : setstage AFS2Werewolf 140

 

It make the quest AFS2Werewolf jump to stage 10

 

Use SQS + questname for the current stage.

You simply dont installed the mod propertly.

 

You need the meshes and textures.

Okay. So, just to clarify then, I need to install the following, in roughly this order?

 

1) AFS 1.8Bis.rar

2) AFS 1.81 Patch.rar

3) Source AFS (Install the Source folder into your the common folder).rar   

4) meshes AFS.rar

5) textures AFS.rar

Yes.

The source archive is only if you want to modify the small world LOD.

There is a problem for me. I can't talk to most of the Quest NPCs. At least most of the time. "Huh?" "Do I know you?" "You shouldn't be here"

Problem already discrived. It's a dialogue in Ravena quest. Don't start this quest please.

I see many files in the download section. It would be helpful if you let us know what files among these are needed and how to install. For instance, I see 'ZaForswornStory.esp' for download and not sure if it is needed. Also, as a basic user, do I need Source AFS files?

You need 4 files : the texture, meshes, and core archives.

Install them, and download the esp alone : it contain the fix for Ravena quest annoying dialogue.

I do not see any version information on the mesh and texture files. I downloaded copies of them a long time ago. Can I use those copies or do I need to download them again?

No need, these files are good since a long time.

Ran into a problem on the Ravena quest when going off to talk to Phage, wanted to go with her plan but I have no idea what potion she wants me to steal and nothing happened so I tried the other option - bang. PC blacked out and suddenly I'm in some small 'villa' or something running after phage... Eventually she stopped on top of cliff next to a lake and now I'm stuck

I can't do that. I sused some outfits on the nexus. If you have HDT textures, you can use it by replacing the textures files by yours.

Yes. AqqH designed that quest, but I don't understand how he done it. He's more skilled than me... and now he's very busy.

Its not a huge deal tbh, i can use a regular hdt forsworn outfit. I also notice poor grammar for the npc but you wouldnt exactly expect barbarian tribes living in the wilds to speak the common tongue fluently anyways.

If Delzaron wants to I could help out rewriting the dialogues, it was mostly ok for a barbarian tribe but some text made me wonder and certainly look twice to understand the context of it. Give me a PM if you want assistance with this.

 

I'm not very experienced with the creation kit apart from making a custom item with some texture and stuff on it, but I think I can work with the dialogue tools without too much hassle - I'd be happy for the exp points

Yes, all the files, except the source one (only needed for small world LOD calculation, but it concern modders).

CK always do that with non vanilla textures. just ignore it.

I set this ID up to pretty much do this one thing: may I ask you to please create a public version? Can't let such a great quest mod go unnoticed by the public. It doesn't need to be tuned down to kiddie levels, just R rated is fine.
