Everything else seems to be working. 

 

I made both my sims webcam girls and on the 1st one the 1st time on the job interaction there was an option to join the escort career but I didn't click it and it never came back.

 

Also the option never showed up with the 2nd Sim.

 

I thought that might unlock it ????

 

To even get the option to whore at all I had to turn cheats and debug on and off.

Are you just putting the 7z file in the mods folder or are you extracting the contents inside the 7z file into the folder? You have to actually take out the package files if you aren't already.

Webcam girls and brothel whore is two different things. Not sure you can do both at the same time.

You need to use the 7-zip program to unzip the packages and place those in your Packages folder. Do NOT put the read me and changelog in the folder.

One needs to 'open' the house through either MC, or by bringing an active Sim onto the lot to tell the game to generate the inactive household and begin making them do stuff.

 

I once 'followed' a maid home (go ahead and call me a stalker) and found she was using one of those NPC apartments. While these are basically doors into nowhere/empty blackness, I was able to take my sim to the door and knock on it, and she came out into the hall, able to be engaged. I found this small action rewarding as it really helps the illusion as best it can given the reality of the situation. Other Sims also used this door, but since the maid had an association with my Sim, the game selected her to exit the domicile.

 

Ever see a school bus if playing a household with no kids? Hang out at the rabbithole school in the morning (more stalker references?) and watch the game spawn all inactive kids on the sidewalk as 'if' they had just gotten out of a vehicle, while no vehicles ever appear to do so before they enter the school. (I have a mod to ease that congestion)

 

So yea, sometimes the details you speak of are based on observations of how the game handles play - so no proms being generated if your household doesn't have any Sims eligible for a prom makes sense. The game must cheat whenever possible and only applies itself when you are 'looking'.

 

KW is only using what is already there to begin with - another magic act to be sure, but overall, a welcome one.

Okay, you're going to love this.  How much time did we spend trying to figure this out?  Finally you pointed out that you can only have proms if you're playing as a student.  Well, it turns out that's not so.  Bear with me on this, because the story is a bit long:

 

I initially had my Sim join the teaching career and he was assigned the role of Professor.  Once he reached level 9 he got the opportunity to take on the role of Headmaster.  I typically do a total town reset every few Sim weeks, and normally this had no effect on these roles, but this time, for some reason I can't fathom, it reset the role.  He is still in the teaching career and he still goes to the school every day from M-F, but there is a new headmaster assigned.  Furthermore, I can't reassign him to the headmaster.  If I turn off the KW High School Auto Management I can reassign the headmaster and professors, but my Sim is not on the list to choose from for either one.

 

I find this rather puzzling, but here's the kicker....Proms!!!!  For some crazy reason Proms are happening!  They get scheduled and all the students show up.  They dance, they eat, they woohoo.  Nothing happens with the K/Q chairs, though.  I'm not sure what is supposed to happen.

 

This is just too weird.

Just more proof of me trying to help others with an unsupported mod which appears to work differently for people isn't the wisest life choice I've made. This is why I tend now to just give my experiences, perhaps share any relevant info from my chair, and let the chips fall where they may. It's insanity for me to try and troubleshoot someone else's installation, system, mod choice usage, etc.

 

Having to ask questions about overall Sims 3 mod use knowledge, procedures listed by mod creators - it's just a can of worms I try to make sure I have a decent handle on for my own installation. To move forward with any alacrity I have to assume others have also been as diligent as I. When this turns out not to be the case I'm left shaking my head wondering why I bother. And as mentioned - add to this the fact KW just seems to be psychotic when used on different players systems and installs has me throwing up my hands saying "I give up".

I have spent many hours 'testing' things. Going into the game and doing certain objectives. Making screenshots and trying to document my own experience to share. Then I'll get "Well, it doesn't work for me" or "That's not how it works" as if it's my mod or my fault. Not pointing fingers, but just saying - at this point it's all I can do, and I feel less and less like doing it. People seem to like being confrontational and perhaps I'm just getting too old for it.

 

I guess quoting OnikiKay isn't a bad way to end this:  "This mod allows sims to have fun in various 'kinky' ways. This is an early WIP version so do not expect too much except bugs and frustrating gameplay."

Never really said anything before, as I figured it was simply your way, but I have on only very rare occasion tried to duplicate a scenario that needed me to change everything I was doing in my game at the time... let alone set up an entire world around the scenario just to try to duplicate an issue someone was having. I answer from what I have seen happen while I have been playing. Just as Rimworlder91 now adds that along with trying to create a brothel, his sims are already webcam girls. Well, that part wasn't shared initially. I told how I set up a brothel. With the new information about webcam girls, I don't know if that changes the way things work, and have no plans to change what I am doing now, to make a whole new game with webcam girls and then try to open a brothel to see what happens. Something YOU have often done, as it seems to be your nature, and suspect will probably do again, as the tale of the scorpion and the frog... )))) You like to help and solve things, and simply can not stop yourself from doing it for very long! ))))))

 

That said, having thought about this, my suggestion to @Rimworlder91 is for you to either start a new game, NOT have your sim be a webcam girl, have at least level 1 woohoo skill, and see if she can then open a brothel in the way I can. Set a baseline. If that works, then try doing other things to see if it changes things.

 

Questions I may ask are basically, "Have you seen this before?" type questions. You have, or you haven't. Time to change the words in my Google search!!!

There may be a way to do this, but I'm not aware:

 

Filter out ANY results with certain words - No SIMS 4 - would make searching a lot easier.

Doubt that will ever happen! EA is paying far too much money to the search engine companies to have TS4 always pop up. 

 

No, I meant when searching for, say, Sims 3 female leather pants, perhaps expand to Sims 3 female leather, and see what comes up without specifying pants... or the opposite, be more specific and see what happens. But, sometimes, changing just one word in a search brings up all different items. One thing in my search is that I usually then click for images, as I want to see the item... Doesn't always work out that way, but often does.

 

And yes, if Google understood the difference between 2, 3 and 4, life would certainly be easier!

 

Oh, and a "thank you" to you... Although the sharing sims thing is on the back burner. Having learned how to do it may help me with quick testing. I have basically removed the Mods folder from this laptop, and written a new one with resource cfg. and a Packages folder. Also will be removing everything from the library, cache files and saved sims folders. Basic vanilla, except those mods that fix things like 90% of everything from Nraas and sliders. As we learned that the package comes with the sim, I'm doing a full fix up on Laura, making a share file of just her, and will then load her on this laptop. This laptop being the one I will do work on, but takes (took) up to 1/2 hr to load TS3. FYI, the gaming laptop is average less than 5 minutes, and 1 time, it took 3 1/2!

 

So, the new plan is to basically have only Laura and whatever it is that I want to look at on the work laptop for purposes of a quick game load to test things. )))

The problem is that many KW features depend on other things to work, often in unpredictable ways (we've seen a few of these lately) and there is virtually no documentation for any of this.  We're all just groping in the dark with a lot of these issues.  (FWIW, I'm not sure even Onikikay knows about all these wrinkles).  This is a great example.  Who would have guessed that such a trivial detail (that the user doesn't even have any control over) would have such an effect?  I don't think anyone expects you to troubleshoot their problems as much as to offer suggestions based on experience (and mistakes) we've gained.  With a large enough community it's pretty likely that someone has experienced any given problem.  If nothing else, two or three or more heads are better than one.  And there's a certain entertainment value in figuring out these quirks. ?

 

I, for one, am very appreciative of the help and suggestions I've received here.

I'm a little confused about one feature of this mod.
I'm trying to get my male character to do the mop puddle on all fours interaction and I was wondering what is required to proc this interaction?
In another game, I'm able to get my female characters to do this all the time by taking off their pants but when I do it with men it doesn't happen, do I need a higher exhibition skill or can male characters simply not do this interaction?

You'll notice that with the 'spank' animation (being spanked) as well. Some of the positions aren't flagged for a certain gender, regardless if one disables the 'gender' part in the woohoo options found in KW settings.

 

I've even tried using the swap position 'kinky option' while the animation is being played - the option was 'greyed out'.  I was able to get a screenshot after using some CAS tricks though. I had a couple engage in the spanking animation. I then changed the males gender to female - now I COULD swap them. After the swap, I took the 'ex-guy' back into CAS, reloaded his saved character model (male) - then returned to live play. Since CAS will redress Sims returning to live, I then swapped his outfit to the naked option and snapped some screenshots.

 

A lot of work for a novelty screenshot - but also as a proof of concept experiment to myself it could be done.

Just wanted to report that I was having the bug where the butler/maid/bonehilda all stopped working. The maids would stand outside and never come into the house. Bonehilda would just stand right outside her house and never leave.

 

Once I purchased a brothel and started assigning employee schedules the maid at least has started coming in the house again and doing her job. The only employees I have are whores and bouncers. I have a bonehilda in the brothel but haven't turned it on yet.

I'm having a problem with my brothel.

 

When customers and workers come to the brothel they all go to the back corner bedroom and just stand there. With everyone crowded around the single door inside the room the whoring interaction doesn't complete and cancels before the WooHoo.

 

I can't figure out how to edit business lots without selling the business.

 

Before I sell it to tear down the wall and make it the exhibition room is still there another solution???

 

Also an update on the cleaners problem. Since starting a brothel the maid service started working again but bonehildas still don't work. Infact I think the bonehilda won't even come out her box. I activate her and don't see her anywhere. She's either not coming out or leaving the lot. Haven't tested butlers yet.

 

Also janitors don't work and won't clean the brothel. The bonehilda in the brothel is also broken.

Crtl+Shift click the floor of any un-owned lot should give the option to build/buy

 

Keep track of how much is spent (it comes out of the active household funds) and cheat to replace it.

 

I don't use any other types of brothel employees besides the whores. I was tired of the bouncer wandering off to boink the help, and the janitor never had anything to do. Anymore on 'community lots' I just tend to use the Master Controller options to repair all and clean all. Life it too short to worry about an EA game with questionable support during it's sales lifetime being compounded by other Mods whom have about the same amount of quality control.

 

If you're hoping everything will always work correctly - best stop at a store and get some antacid tablets to try and slow ulcers.

 

If desperate, one can always just replace objects that don't function properly - Saving a game while certain scripts are running STILL cause issues with many things. I often have to replace all elevators in a community lot for whatever reason the shit bugs out on me for and I have a few mods which have improved the use of those considerably. Buying expensive cars for households I'm not playing just to see them abandoned on the street and unusable (must delete or leave the eyesore) is one of my pet peeves with the game. If it wasn't for programs like master controller, and many of the cheats, even something as unique as Kinky World wouldn't be enough to keep me dealing with the 'abuse'.

Btw the only idea I had to play easily was to disactivate it until I was back home, maybe during the weekend but it’s really necessary to save just after reactiving it because it can crash the game . When desactivated there are some bugs like the fact that the sims don’t quit their clothes to take a shower for example, they also cannot prepare drinks with the little bars but it doesn’t really matters.
