Hello I have a question. So my sim's kinky partner is a mermaid in sims 3. So far I have no problem with the mod regarding animations or bugs. Except that..whenever my sim's partner transform into a mermaid or whoever that is within the household, transforms into a mermaid, will have their tails modified with either a scuba diving equipment or pants or shoes or ...clothes. Then it would mess with the mermaid's animations too and they stop swimming like a mermaid even though their modified tail is on. So I would use nrass to intermediate the mermaid lifestate all over again and it would be fine for that day. Till the next transformation where they would have swimming flippers or whatsoever on their tail,again. Now I have read somewhere within this post that somebody said it could be nraas master controller but...I have had master controller for quite a while without kinky mod and this have never happened. It was after downloading kinky. You see I didn't want to actually post around here if somebody have had the solution somewhere. Tried checking the options within kinky too but I never figured out which one to disable so kinky would stop "dressing up" my mermaid's tail. Either I didn't find it or that its posted elsewhere. Please help me out xD

Sorry for the late reply. Yes I checked the soical tab. There is no Commanding Presence there. Do you have any other idea? Or somebody else?

You have to work your way up the ladder (streetwalker, then callgirl; once you've amassed enough money and number of customers, you'll become one).

 

Or you could use the debug menu.

I just downloaded the most recent version of KW and I can't register my school. Everytime I click on the wall I just get the option to visit the lot and no kinky world menu to register the lot. Can anyone help out with this?

 

Edit: figured out the highschool problem. Now I can't seem to get the prom room to work correctly. I don't have a stage (as I know that's pretty much the #1 problem) but it keeps stating that there is no prom room found even after buying all objects needed.

can anyone comment on if updating to the newest version is even worth it? sounds fairly unstable to be honest, think I might just stay on the 0.37 version. are the new bugs that bad/are the new features that good?

I had a problem where anything, kinky or otherwise, that involved removing clothes would result in the sim just standing there, unable to complete the action and just idling until I cancelled the order.  Restarted the game and it kept going, but did sort itself out piece by piece over about 20, by then everything I tried worked fine.  Didn't test it very extensively, but what I did ran like a dream once it finished having it's weird little moment.  Maybe it was just initializing everything very slowly.  Other than that, of what I have had time to look at, I've had no problems with it, but other people have mentioned their own difficulties already.  Might be better to wait a while and see if any fixes or anything get released.

 

Edit: Went back to my game and had the previously mentioned problem again.  This time it didn't seem to ever figure itself out like it did last time.  Decided to turn on debug messages in KW settings to see if it would give me any useful info.  Every time I tried to do something that would have caused an outfit change I would get "Outfitmanager.waitandlock; another process is waiting", then nothing would happen.  Eventually I cancelled the order and got a couple "Outfitmanager.waitandlock; Request cancelled by peer (ExitReason: UserCancelled)".  I also got, on cancelling the order, "OutfitManager.BindHelper: Failed to lock outfit manager", and another similar message involving outfit swtiching or something, I closed the notification like an idiot before I got a good look.  Thing is, I can see NPCs are still doing stuff as sex is happening across town and some dude is running around naked, so for whatever reason it just seems to be my sim that's having this outfit manager trouble.  Sadly the debug has turned up nothing else that might be helpful beyond the periodic message about being unable to find a suitable sim to be a callgirl, as this is a new game and no one has the skill levels for it yet.  Disabling callgirl and related services didn't seem to change much so I guess I'm stumped.  If anyone who knows how this stuff fits together wants any additional info and can give me an idea where to find it, I'm happy to hunt it down if it helps figure out what's broken.

Hi guys I just came across a problem that met for the first time. Overall the build 399 works for me but it just broke and my sims won't change their outfit. They will stuck at this stage and won't proceed to the next action. I tried a new game and the result is the same. This is very weird...I will try the older version to test.

I have the exact same issue. The difference is that I came across this issue today, after I played Build 399 with over a month without any issue.  I really don't understand why it suddenly broke.

My first guess went to that I messed with my mods a bit.  I usually play with a decent array of Nraas mods but I decided I didn't want to deal with setting them all up for a new game this time (anything I use in any game that supports exporting your settings, I forget to use.  Every time, without fail), so I just left it mostly as cosmetics and KW to see how KW changes the flow of the game on its own.  Adding the Nraas mods and trying again didn't seem to do much.  My next guess was maybe it had to do with the world.  I was playing Bridgeport, no fixed version or anything, so maybe that had an impact on things?  I intend to test it on a couple different worlds to see if I can get things to cooperate in less busy places, since I know some worlds are more intensive than others.  I figure it can slow down or mess with something like KW.

It's not there off the gate. Step by step:

1) register the sim as a whore

2) click on the menu: KinkyWorld/Debug/Traits & Skills/SetFlag Callgirl

3) NOW it's there: click on the menu: KinkyWorld/Debug/Traits & Skills/SetFlag Escort

I cant understand why cant I woohoo using KW with my sims? I have KW but when I clicked it to woohoo it does nothung! I have both OKW_Amra72_Animations and KW_Amra72_Animations in my package file in mods but my sims wont woohoo! They can tease & touch their butts but when i try to woohoo them, they does nothing or sometimes my sims goes "I dont want to do it" & sometimes no animation found as I cant click woohoo eg: anal as it cant be clicked. Any thoughts on this?

Having trouble with the acting career. Every time Peter Swiftfingers tells my sim to start acting, he disappears and nraas finds a script error.

I don't know French, so... OUI, in fact creator Oniki is French. But unless she posted a free French version on some FRA site, it's Patreon only.

No mosaics (whatever version) never hurt, and usually are tiny files anyway.

Ok so I had some posts a bit further up talking about certain things not working with the newest KW build.  Tested them on a few different worlds, strangely enough I got different kinds of problems on each one.  Then I tested what happened when I rolled back to 0.37.  Couldn't replicate any of the issues I was having.  Didn't test that extensively, but at the very least a quick check of features showed none of the issues 0.61 had.

 

If you're trying to decide whether to check out 0.61(build 399), I'd recommend not doing that unless you think you can hunt down the bugs and figure out what's causing issues.  At least until Oniki updates us on what's happening.  Could be this has already been addressed on her patreon and she's just waiting the appropriate time before pushing a fix to the public build, and I'm just out of the loop because I'm just a heartless consumer who doesn't support the people who make things he likes.

The Problems that I am having.

1. I can no longer use the double bed (haven't tried single) to kinky woohoo with any female sims.

2. My town icons disappear often causing me to have to reset my lot

3. My Opportunities quit working, telling me that i have to return home to complete this opportunity. This seems to happen when I have a running opportunity and then I save the game, and restart it. The star will appear over the opportunity location but the yellow dialogue bubble isn't there.  This may be related to the bug that started on the last update where if you have the stereo on when you saved, when you reload you will have to turn it off and then on again to get the moodlet bonus back. This is especially noticeable when one has one's house wired with speakers.  Also incense, I have found only two ways to get the moodlet back after restarting. You can either extinguish the incense and relight it for a small fee, or you can put it in your inventory and then put it back out.

Nothing at all has changed about my computer (i only use it to play the Sims and to write) except that I downloaded this update. I haven't even bothered to add anymore mods or cc.  I'm satisfied with what I have. This mod is the only thing that I keep up with. LOL

This is the weirdest thing! The same EXACT thing is happening to me with v0.37, except it happens every time I travel using nRaas Traveler. Also, I have game version 1.63 for various reasons, related to other, older mods, and traveler is not officially compatible with 1.63, so I thought that was the issue. I went back home from the travel, hoping it would get fixed....it didn't. I saved and reloaded, hoping it would get fixed...but it stayed. I Traveled multiple times, with different settings, inventory status, outfits, but this issue always happened.

But it only happens to my sim, others are fine having sex...and I can't even take a shower. ?

 

So I guess this problem has something to do with either worlds, mods, outfits or game version incompatibility (or not, this is just a guess, I'm not a programmer/modder). I don't know why this issue might become permanently present in the new build, I hope it gets fixed soon, because this is the best mod on the planet and I'm planning on updating KW soon! ?

Often times the very first time you try, it does get stuck. That's what the "unlocksim" dialogue bubble is for under KinkyWorld/Debug. You have to turn the Debug mode on in the KinkyWorld Settings in order see these options. Afterwards it can seem to freeze but if you pause the game for a few seconds and then unpause it that tends to free it up. I don't know why it tends to do that the first time. Funny though... It doesn't seem to happen anymore on mine.  I don't know why. I do believe that the amount of custom content clothing you have slows this process down.

Just upgraded to build 399 and for some reason, my female teen sim is being treated as a male. Whenever I seduce another sim, dialogue box will pop up saying "Oh you naughty boy." Additionally, animations are putting me in the male position. Anyone know how to make Kinkyworld think I am female?
