The upcoming stable release, which as far as I know has no ETA, will have the school stuff, and it sounds like it will have the she-male stuff.  

 

I have no clue what else it will include but Nraas Register does work with the latest pateron verison, female sims can whroe again without the simulate error.  Not sure about Error Trap since I got rid of it eons ago but if others are reporting it works with KW again, that's cool.  Onki has always seemed to act like Nraas mods aren't necessary wihch is just untrue.  Without Register my towns population goes from 100, which is what Nraas' SP has it capped to, to over 300.  And over 300 hundred non active sims, more routing issues, lag, etc.

This isn't on Onki however, EA made a mistake by making it an open world game because there's just too much going on which is what usually leads to the lag.  The Sims 2 wasn't open world and the only time I got lag in TS2 is when they released Bon Voyage but forgot to test it using Creative sound cards and creative sound cards and Bon Voyage lead to a lot of issues.  They quickly patched the issue however.   I heard TS4 isn't open world so I'm assuming routing/lag issues are gone again, just waiting until that new TS4 sex mod gets more polished to make the jump..  

 

I think the mistake was with the way open world was coded. In a perfect world, the developers would have kept open world for the Sims 4 and fixed the lag, routing and empty lot issues. You are correct in that TS4 has virtually zero lag and plays quite smoothly. I, personally cannot play it for very long because I like being able to customize everything.

 

Also, the sims have no personality because the traits are overridden by "emotions." In other words, they all act the same. My loner sim will chat with anyone and everyone as if he were a social butterfly because he is "happy." An evil sim behaves the same way. I'm not a big fan of linear play either, because it becomes repetitive and induces boredom. I am rarely bored in TS3 because there are so many options and fewer limitations. I love my sandbox.

 

What TS4 can't do outweighs what it can, imo.

 

To each his own, however. I hope you enjoy it when you decide to make the jump. My only advice is that you play the free trial first before purchasing.

Vice City and Saints Row 3 and 4 prove you can do an open world game without issues, but games like Oblivion and Skyrim prove that if you have too much going on in that open world, issues can crop up, things can get corrupted, etc, and so on. 

 

Maxis, like Bethesda, has non playable characters just doing too much, and I do think that is what leads to a lot of issues, especially with routing.  If the non active sims just roamed around and didn't procreate, get job promotions, age, etc, I think it would reduce the routing issues and the lag.   I think disabling story progression does that but I'm not 100% sure because it doesn't seem to stop all of that.  But the Nraas mods can be set to actually stop it and I have my town capped to 50 resident sims and to purge the homeless every 24 game hours, as well as gnomes (hate those things).  Helps a lot but the latest version KW seems to override Nraas' mods and I ended up with 300 Sims even after the purge.. which is why I think I'll stick with 2.6 even if a new version is released here.  There are other issues with the current build of KW that no one here who is begging for an update would want, so just be happy that she's putting off releasing an updated version because the current build would turn this thread into a nightmare due to all of the "help me with this error" posts.

well about syrim issues is really hard make things work when the game is just 32bit and can't run more than 4 giga for a game which obbious need much more, but like sims 3 if you download the right mods, the game can run really good, ofcourse you still get crashs since the game was not optmized to work with too much things running around.

 

currently bethesda is going to release the 64 bits version of skyrim which will allow the game to use "more memory" which will probably help great reduce the crashs in game.

 

to be fair since i'm currently learning to make games, i talked with my teacher about it and he told me which what really take more from a computer is not the AI but really the "graphics", is how much of the world you have being "rendezired" at same time this is the most processor/memory usage in games when they are well made".

 

in the end the real problem is the "level of programing skills" of the developers, bad developers = bad game with many bugs, it's not really a "feature fault".

Phew... that's a pretty intense question, actually. =)

 

To avoid going overboard with more advanced string table editing, I'll give the basics:

 

1) Download and install/extract S3PE.

2) Open the ONIKI_KinkyMod.package by double-clicking.

3) In the list on the left, click on the English item (it should be near the top).  Right-click on this item and choose Edit STBL to modify.

4) The little popup window contains "FNV64" hash keys on the left and allows you to edit the corresponding text on the right.  The field at the bottom also lets you add new hash keys, either by typing in a 16-hexadecimal-digit hexcode (e.g., 0x0123456789ABCDEF) or a string that you want to hash (e.g., ArousedDescription) which will automatically get converted into a hexcode when you hit Add.  (If nothing happens when you Add, it means that the key is already in the list.  I think it selects it for you automatically, too.)

5) When you see a message like "Interaction:Blah:DeBlah" in game, that is the string that you will need to type into the field at the bottom and click on Add to convert to a hash key, at which point you can then type in the corresponding text that you want.

6) Translating in this way can involve a LOT of excessive jumping back and forth from the game, and that can often result in crashes.  Run TS3 in a window.  In my case I run my laptop for typing while I play along in the game on my desktop computer.

 

On my own end, I simply deleted the English key and started it over from scratch in a separate .package, but because of the NRaas incompatibility in the public version I gave up the effort before translating too much.  (I like genericizing/euphemizing the interactions, both for consistency with the base game and for humor.  For instance, "Got DNA", "Got Reverse DNA", and "Messy DNA" for the various moodlet names... ;-))

when i converted the interactionname into the code and type the text on the box at right hand side,the 'interaction:' is still appears in game.

For example,I changed the 'Rape.InteractionName' to simply 'Rape' in sp3e and saved it,but it still appear as 'Rape.InteractionName' in game.

This mod is already compatible with it. 1.69 changed how the game handle EPs and DLC contents so it's easier to deactivate them. Nothing else.

I refer to it as the "final sales pitch patch".

 

In short, polishes up a few things regarding store bought content and dlc from within the TS3 launcher, it doesn't impact the game itself, at least not in a way that would require updates.  

 

Yes, some of the Nraas mods were updated but I'm not entirely sure why since the previous versions worked fine with the 1.69 patch.

 

But well, its the Sims 3... its like the Jurassic World of video games.. something chaotic is always bound to happen so its best to be on the safe side.  

 

Speaking of JW.. think I'll watch it.  I don't care much for Pratt but the film is still fund despise his bad attempt at trying to be a bad ass.

The only Nraas mod that was actually updated for patch 1.69 was Error Trap since it's a Core Mod and would throw up an Incompatibility Warning due to patch 1.69 changing the game version build.

The others never needed it.

The only exception is Untranslated Key which mainly used only by mod developers which is also a Core Mod that one was never updated to 1.69 and you don't want to try use  that one if you are on 1.69 unless you want to break the launcher.

Hi all, Ive just started getting a weird problem, the girl who was my whore, she got married and had a kid while I was playing a different house, I went back to her, and soon noticed she goes to buy condoms at the computer but they dont show in her inventory,and when I send her out to earn some cash, sometimes the 'whore' option is there, sometimes not, if it is there, and she solicits a guy, the question message appears in the top corner, then nothing happens and they start chatting and 'shaka bra' etc. 

Ive got some nraas mods,SP,MC,shooless. I've used this mod a while now and know about changing some settings.

@Deviancy you mention a problem in an earlier post, could this be a similar thing? or is it just that shes married? I can always try a new girl.

Shooless conflicts with kw because it has a similar feature itself, um and the items you ordered online are taking up space in your sims mailbox.Hope this helps. Oh yeah one more thing start the whoring session at home and then take her to a public place. :D

You need to get them to watch the exhibtion channel or just forcefully take off their clothes with CMAR's get naked mod at sexysims.

Well here is the thing. Supposedly the mod is free, and development versions are behind a paywall. After a few months it became obvious that the paywall is for the actual mod because there will never be a stable version and will always be in development.

 

I have no problem if the mod is behind a paywall, as long as you are honest and upfront about it. Thing is it feels very disingenuous that it is claimed as being free. As long as new features are constantly added it will never be stable enough to release and it is painfully clear that is by design. It's been 8 months, almost 9, at this point and only now are we hearing about a stable release supposedly coming out in the future. So it will probably be updated YEAR later after the previous stable version which was bugged? People saying be patient should go F themselves. I get a few months, but 9+ months is a bridge to far. It could have been made stable at any time by pausing development, but it was deliberately chosen not to.

 

If OnikiKay officially admits there is a paywall then I am 100% fine with that. I am not entitled to her paid work product. Thing is, she said the mod is free. Don't feed me shit can tell me it's pie. So far this mod has been behind a paywall and hasn't had the balls to admit the truth. Other Patreon users don't do this. They release their content a month later, or they only do long developments like this but only charge per major update. I'm not even saying OnikiKay did this on purpose to maximize money, but that's what it currently is.

 

 

Hopefully that explains why some people are frustrated. OnikiKay is awesome, and her work is amazing but her Patreon system is exploitative.

 

I agree 100% with everything you are saying. I'm a subscriber, which I have been for a while now, but I'm also disappointed the free releases have been neglected for so long. The last release was last year, which is just ridiculous and does indeed feel disingenuous and comes across as maximising profit. Like you, I also feel there is nothing wrong with having a paid mod, especially one of this level of complexity, but OnikiKay needs to either have regular updates for the free version, or just go for 100% paid and clearly state it, so people aren't just hanging on every month.

 

It also doesn't help bug reports if people are reporting on a mod that is heading on to a year old. Having a lot more people bug-reporting a more up-to-date version would certainly help IMHO.

In fact, some mods use EP detection via scripts, so it can be updated aswell, but this is not a necessity. In general these mods are not compatible with 1.67 but are for 1.69. 1.69 can run all the mods compatible with 1.67, you will only get an annoying warning when launching the game.

Jealousy is just not implemented yet so your sims are free to screw kinky style without repercussions accept maybe an std :exclamation: if you enable them.

Just curious: Is there a reason that people are saying to start whoring at home and then go to a community lot? When you start whoring, the mod pushes customers to the active lot, so it defeats the purpose to immediately go somewhere else. Although I'm not sure if johns are even pushed to the home lot at all.

Can someone help me with this or maybe give me an idea what's going on? I can't get none of my female sims pregnant and this problem been going on since I been using the free mod on this site. I even updated to 2.7 and I still can't get any sims preggo even if I use the new inseminate feature or go to a different save.

 

What happens is it'll say my sims are pregnant when I look at them in "sims info" menstrual phase but few in game days later it'll just become luteal or follicular without baby or pregnancy. Also I don't know if this affects anything but for some odd reason none of my sims have fertility above 0.1 except maybe one who had 1.0 but still no luck. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong or has had the same issue.

 

Also yes I'm aware this is the 2nd time I have brought this question to the boards attention. Sadly last time only one person responded and most people ignored my question. My Sims are heading towards extinction and need help ASAP here from whole neighborhood being infertile lol!!! Help much needed haha. Please anyone be a hero to save my sims neiborhood extinction haha

seriously?my man fucked a married woman and her husband caught us but he merely jubilated for seeing his wife naked.:-D perhabs there are husbands like that in the world but ı want my game more realistic

I don't have any other huge mods that should conflict except Master Controller, Story Progression, Overwatch, Register and Woohooer (which I have everything disabled for it except the teen romance adult feature). Also I had these mods installed since I first started using KW mod (almost a year ago) and at first I couldn't stop my sims from popping out babies but now they're infertile. I notice the problem started a few months after I had KW 2.5 installed so I thought it was the 2.5 version fault but even after updating to 2.6 then later 2.7 I'm still having same issues unfortunately....
