I Like Nexus Because...

I like Nexus because of how user friendly their mod interface is. And how easy NMM can be used (though i still use OBMM for oblivion)

Their moderators aint user-friendly though.

Sigh.

It's a good place to get mods, you just need to keep your head down and not draw attention to yourself. Just like in real life :P

Great site been there since 2008 and never had a problem.

Moderators there have been nothing but helpful and polite.

In fact i became a supporter there.

Off topic again, derailing threads again like undisciplined children you can't even stay on topic.

I guess you haven't noticed that it's my thread--I can let this go in any direction I want.

That's the problem here.

Great site

I agree with you on this issue.

been there since 2008

I am ignorant on this issue.

and never had a problem.

And I am baffled by your opinion on this issue. I have seen numerous mysql errors' date=' for example. I have seen numerous mods wither because of technical difficulties in the mod submission and upload process (for example, where commenting is impossible and the mod author decides to not spam the site with multiple copies of the same mod). I have seen ... meh... seriously, your "never had a problem" suggests a significant lack of awareness on your part.

Moderators there have been nothing but helpful and polite.

I wish I had reason to trust your opinion.

In fact i became a supporter there.

Good for you.

Personally, I like the site for the mods I can find there.

There search mechanism and change reporting system is better than the alternatives I have seen for mods, but it also has a lot of room for improvement. (For example: I frequently want to eliminate from the displayed "recently updated" list all updates which do not represent uploads... if that is possible I have never figured out how to make it happen.)

When i said i never had a problem there i meant interpersonal problems.

I get along fine there because there's plenty of moderators that take care of the nonsense.

Sure there are a lot of bugs but it's such a huge site.

I like the Nexus because I have to have an account with them in order to use their mod manager which is way easier than installing mods manually. There are also some boss people on there. Other than that I treat it like casual sex. Fuck, leave, no drama.

To be honest the only reason I stay on Nexus is to help ppl having problems with a few mods I'm familiar with or to post screenies

oh and I'd like to "lmfao" at the noob who tried to upload "DLC Wizards Tower" to Nexus today...Fastest ban I've ever seen xD

I've been bashing a lot lately and actually just saw this thread. I want to put something nice in because it does deserve it. The site is nice because of the easy way of getting what I need when I need (ok it does mess up from time to time, that's life though) and be on my way. I also got to get in touch with the author of Estrus which was super neat to me but I'm a nerd.

Other than the "gods of Nexus"

I usually just go there. DL. Maybe anger the mods a little bit on the chat xD and basically i just post screenies there. Other than that. I dont do much. I stay here more often for opinions and ideas.

I wish I could post more then five pictures. I would link them but I don't want anyone getting in trouble lol They are only Skyrim anyways. I don't understand something though and this isn't (THIS IS NOT!) to start a fight. I really honestly don't understand.

Why would I get banned for nude pictures? You have to upload nude pictures to show adult mods, do you need to be an active contributor?

Nude pictures on their image exchange is a no-no, nude pictures on a mod page that's flagged as adult is all right. Of course, why you can post a picture of a dude's head exploding but a titty is crossing the line is beyond me.

Here, you do as you wish so long as you keep the hardcore porn in adult sections.

Oh okies I guess it's all about tags and mods then. I just never really understood it. I can post on someone's mod with a girl getting rammed by hot pink heads coming off goopy, bright purple veiney tentacles (I love you cotyounoyume) but I can't post the same pic on my own profile. This always made me scratch my head. I knew there had to be a good reason for it I just didn't know what! lol

i like nexus, because it has a shitload of mods and because i found most bodyreplacers and stockarmor/clothesreplacers there.

also i found over 95% of the mods i use there.

i posted a few comments (thanks/critics/ideas/bugs/questions) and kept everything polite and even critiques were not like "are you nuts!?!" or "fucking retard your mod doesnt work" or "your mod is shit! only retards like realism in games! this game is a fantasy game!". (which in my opinion is the reason for at least half of the bans.)

even if i absolutely hate the content of a mod, i dont need to download it. tastes are different and i accept that.

and about that "IP tracker": cant find such a thing anywhere on the page - even if i deactivate my adblocker its not showing.

It's been hidden or removed since we exposed the problem to the full light of day here at LoversLab. :D
