I'm not being clear.

When Get Stripped is deactivated, Skyrim will not run. I get the Bethesda logo, the Skyrim dragon symbol, and then a CTD before the Continue/Load/New options appear.

I stayed out of Whiterun for a couple of weeks, game time, to make sure all possible triggers were likely expired before deactivating, and this still happens.

If Get Stripped is moved up in the load order too far, the same thing happens.

Somehow, my game - not my save - has become dependent upon it. (At least until the next virgin install, it seems)

I get it now, you get a CTD before you can enter the menu screen if the mod is not loaded. This is weird. It also happens if you lower the load order? This almost seems like a dependency problem. Especially the latter one. But this mod is not a master file, only a plugin, and there is no other mod depends on it. So, to understand better,

1) If you’re using v1.1, is v1.0 deactivated already?

2) Do you use any translations for this mod?

3) Did you modify anything using CreationKit?

3) When your game just starts to crash depending on your load order, what is the mod just above GetStripped.esp?

I haven’t encounter this issue during testing. And during testing, I deactivate/activate the mod too. Also other users are able to make a clean save without an issue. But regardless, if it’s on my end, sorry for that.

Why don't you just load a previous save, and then produce a clean save? Can you include your log befıre CTD so we can see what is causing it? Also, did you try what I said earlier?

What about something like SkyRe's reproccer?? The reproccer file would make getstripped a required file, if getstripped had a weapon in it that got modified. (it doesn't, but I'm talking about something that works similarly that you may be running)

Edit: just had a thought, did you run FINIS after disabling GetStripped??

If you are crashing at the bethesda logo you have a broken dependancy, and a mod is missing a master file it requires to run or is being loaded before the master file.  I'd recommend looking at Sacremas' modding guide http://www.loverslab.com/topic/43043-skyrim-modding-guide/ and following his instructions about using TES5Edit to find problems with your load order, or try using LOOT.  If you are crashing after disabling this mod, I'd expect trying to load your order up in TES5Edit will throw an error when it hits the problem spot.

Yeah. I didn't know phrasing, but my guess is that something else installed (and likely removed) along the way my have broken a dependency that Get Stripped! was sort of patching, and when it's gone... EEK!

I'm off to read your suggested guide after this. Thanks!

Using 1.1. Only recently got a machine that'll properly handle Skyrim, so it's the only version used to date.

No translations

Only started looking at Creation Kit a couple days ago - haven't saved anything yet.

I'll have to look when i'm back home and answer that last question tomorrow.

I don't necessarily think it's on your end. It might be, but it could also be something i FUBARed, as mentioned in the reply above. But wanted to be sure you had what info i could provide, just in case.  ;)

No SkyRe installed yet. Looks interesting.

But, no - did not run FNIS after disabling. Didn't think about it - wasn't sure how FNIS worked. Does it make a file based on only the active mods? Or does it build a library of everything in the directory structure for active mods to call upon?

So much to learn before starting my own mod...

FINIS registers animations, of which GetStripped has some, namely the stripping animation.

I got that part. I just didn't know how it handled said data after building the files. One way makes re-running irrelevant, the other makes it imperative. I'll try that when back at my system. I forgot, was too busy getting revenge for the Pirate Prize scenario.

I can NEVER go back to Markarth...

EDIT:

Remembered to look. The last mod in the stack before Get Stripped is Daughters Of Dibella.

But it used to be higher. I moved it around last week to see what the last thing it could load before was. (a Little Sexy Apparel Replacer)

I guess it was actually seeing what the last thing it could load after was?

Either way, that's the point in the stack that it still works. If moved any further down the list, Skyrim dies.

(And, it turns out not only can go back to Markarth, but if all the guards trying to stop me die, there's no witness and 8000 disappears off the bounty. Groovy)

Very funny mod.

First of all, I'll apologize for eventual granmar mistakes, because this isn't my native language.

Second, I'll suggest you to use some mod that increase npc's number in the city, like Inconsequential Npc, Dawn of Skyrim and similar (all on Nexus), because it increase the chance of being mocked by them after the stripping "aggression"; strangely it happens to me using bathing beauty luxury suite: the random girl appear here, as a guest of the suite, she strips me and all the guests laughs and mocked me. It was just hilarous, I almost fall from the chair, laughing.

About the mod itself, why should not made the strip a radiant quest, started when the Random Girl stole your chest piece (a quest similar to Death Alternative - your money or your life, when you must recover your item stolen by bandits who beat you unconscious) and giving a chance to have her as a follower that sometime strip you in (safe) crowded place like inns, jarl palaces, market squares, etc.?

Then, two questions:

-How i can apply the (various) covering animations to a FNIS spell based mod? I'm wondering about updating the CoverDemo mod with them, for personal use.

-How many time you must be stripped from random girl before the guard come to investigate? 5 or more?

Yeah, v1.1 has 144 custom animations. v2 has 3 times more, excluding already existing ones.

Thanks.

You don't need me to increase the number of NPCs. But more NPCs could cause more bugs.

Yeah, that sounds pretty hilarious :) She must have seen you entering the building.

That "find your stolen clothes" mechanic is one of the most requested wishes. I'm thinking about ways to improve the stripping and mocking mechanics. But as for now, the focus is mainly on the extra scenes.

I think she lacks the personality and attributes to be a follower. There are very good follower mods out there, so, you can check them out.

-You need to check fore's documentations for that. But I'm planning to add a feature where your PC plays cover animations whenever she's naked as v2.1.

-You have to get stripped 3 times. Also endless mode should be toggled off.

I love it, its well made for a first mod. Animations are wonderful too, they both make me laugh and hate the character who mocks me. I'm looking forward to v2 to see all the new features and improvements, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the answers: the "you should use mod that increase npc number" is for any user who wants to enjoy the mod with a good laugh. In the main road, from whiterun 's gate to the market square, usually there are few people: Adrianne the smith, one or two guards and the servant of belethot (cannot recall his name) who chops wood. With  some npc-adding mods, the stripped PC will be mocked all her way to the well square.
Good work with version 2 ^_^

Really have to commend this mod for the simplicity of its installation, quality of animations and flavour. Can't wait for V.2!

I agree with McRutt emphatically! One of the few mods that are super easy to install and work perfectly on the first try!

I would like to make 2 suggestions for the next version:

- You are able to strip other female npcs, and they would (or not) run away while covering themselves.

- Whenever you are naked, your character plays some of your covering/embarrassed animations (this could be an option in MCM, therefore you could turn it on/off)

Really anxious for the next version!  :D

Very funny mod, I like it!

But... there are some problems.

If a strip happens, the stripped item lies on the road and can't picked up.

The mocking never ends and all other events (animations / talks) are allways get be interrupted. There should be a timer to end the mocking!

Am I correct to asume that I am unable to strip my attacker?

Btw, not sure what precisely happened, but my follower started to attack a random girl after I received a message that my follower has left me.

You obviously have a bug, and you obviously haven't read the note on the first post :)

But you can make me a great favor by writing down "sqv xrsquest" on console and checking if "Player_Al" is equal to none.

You can in one of the scenes, but it's a scripted event.

A random girl or the random girl? I don't know, I'm calling the vanilla script to dismiss the follower. Your follower is right to get angry though.

Is it fair to say the update is almost coming?

I don´t recall want a update so bad like this mod and Bestial Essence.

just curious is update coming along well?

that image for V2 is a tease.

dont mean to rush, just curious, take your time if needed

is there an eta on the release of the mod

I'm very busy with my job nowadays and this won't change for some time. Main scenes and hidden scenes are completed. I added a new armor stealing mechanic, but removed it because it was very buggy. I'll probably remove the existing one too. But, think mocking is more stable now. Also added a few more mocking animations.

Good news is, there is approximately 3 times more content. Bad news is, with Skyrim, that also means 3 times more bugs.

I'll release what I currently have next week. (Or maybe this weekend?) So, you can play through the story. I'll try to add additional mechanic improvements in another update. For now, I can upload a few screenshot if it helps, but be warned, they may include minor spoilers.

Resisting the screenshots is child's play. Resisting to download when it's out and wait for the added mechanics, improvement, and bug fixes. That's what I will have to fight against! :o

Although I did view the screenshots as well, can't wait ^_^

New screen shots look amazing. I've been on loverslab for a little over a year now, and I can honestly say this is easily one of my top 5 favorite mods. Can't wait to see what happens in Riften. Great Work!
