After fiddling with CAO and using Pandora for animations (because FNIS wasn't working and Nemesis kept crashing) I finally got the mod to run!

 

...except I can't load saves. I got caught (literally) in a loop by one of the thieves and tried to reload, only for the game to crash on loading. I mean black screen and music still playing but unable to do anything.

 

Any help?

check your mods i know if you have to many esps active you get crash to desktop after a few seconds of loading in for long black screen could it be disk space or memory in task manager ?

Thanks so much for the response! 

So as it turns out my SKSE was outdated or something. I reinstalled the whole game and the mods via Vortex and it worked! I actually just beat Whiterun and Riften as I'm writing this (though I didn't get a title for the Whiterun one which is weird)

Now I have a new problem... what next? This mod left me wanting more. Any recommendations? I heard Thief and Submissive Lola are similar

Thief is good if you want a storyline based quest mod

Submissive Lola is kind of just a follower add on last i Checked,

Slaverun is back with the author making updates pretty frequently, which is ....to put it in a quick way, kinda like Kuirino in Skyrim, you go from town to town enslaving them, orr you play as a slave and all that entails.

That depends on what interests you.  Submissive Lola lets you voluntarily become a sex slave of your follower and gives that follower a dominant personality that assigns you tasks and expects you to obey.  You can optionally have a contract for a required period of service, and there's a non-consensual start option if you're bought at the slave auction.  It's designed so you can still adventure and play Skyrim while being a slave.  Laura's Bondage Shop might also interest you.  It is entirely consensual with a focus on bondage devices.  It has a long line of quests, most of which has to be done without a follower due to the nature of the quests.

Let me just add as an impartial critic, I think Submissive Lola is a rich, flexible, and well-crafted mod anyone interested in this type of adventure would enjoy.

Off the top of my head I'd say this mod is exactly my kind of thing. Forced nudity with a mix of light humiliation and embarrassment. A mod where you're forced to be naked for a while, or punished for being naked in public would be nice.

 

I'm not the biggest fan of hard-core stuff like non-con or hard bondage. You said Submissive Lola has a consensual option so that's a plus.

I heard it's very customisable. So I was wondering, is there like a 'soft dom' option?

Since this is getting off topic for the Get Stripped discussion, I suggest looking at the info on the description page for Submissive Lola (and Laura's Bondage Shop) and posting any questions that you might have in their support topics where people who are very familiar with those mods can provide answers.
