jimmywon34 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Hey Sacremas so did I read that right that no combat ai mods work well with sexlab mods? I'm using Duel - Combat realism and Combat evolved and gonna start a new game, yet again, but not sure if i should just ditch those.

It's mainly a placebo effect, if you turned Duel off without noticing doing so you would probably not really notice in game. Sorry, harsh truth, a few people have taken a look at those mods and aside from those like Action Combat and Vigor that add totally new abilities like injuries or interrupting attacks you get very little out of those mods, a few values are tweaked but nothing most perk overhaul mods don't do already, the combat mods are just setting the same values that your perk mod use, they can especially upset the balance of a mod like Ordinator or SPERG, and definetly so in the very delicate Requiem. Other than that... no, where did you hear that? Sexlab mod work just fine with combat mods. You just can't stack too many scripts going off at once and many combat mods use a very large amoutn of scripts that run during the fight (that in the end doesn't do all that much really compared to vanilla) which in turn conflict with Sexlab scripts that want to run during the fight (mainly rape mods), however this is universal; you can't have too many scripts running in any particular instance at all, anywhere in the whole game. A vanilla scripted scene like many Mage's Guild quests could break if you run a sex scene from a non-rape mod during these, you have a good chance of breaking them, if you run an advanced scripted spell from a Nexus spell mod like Colorful Magic, you will break them, etc. However more to the point you should not use Duel because it is on the Dangerous Mods list last I checked, just like Deadly Combat, and unlike Deadly Combat's auythor Duel's author refuses to awknowledge the issues brought up simply because so many have used his mods for so long, ignoring the fact that 90 % of Skyrim players is unable to check if when their game dies what caused that death, and many also don't run very heavy load orders. Ultimate Combat is the only one of the general combat mods not on that list, and after I took it out (it conflicted badly with World's Dawn's ability portion) then I did not really notice that much difference in combat difficulty. I highly recommend Vigor however, it's very light weight script wise, it affects a lot more than almost all the combat mods, and it has few if any conflicts; http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72180/? Great mod, keep it regardless, it is unscripted and has zero effect on scripted mods like sexlab, and you will actually feel a serious impact from it.

No need to apologize I am honest when I say I really didn't notice much either, thanks for the info. But yea that's what I should've said, sexlab rape mods, I'm using Defeat so I wondered about it and combat ai mods because I was having a problem with sneaking up on someone and knocking them out not working and never had that problem before but I added more than just combat ai mods to my mod list so couldn't be sure but then came back on your thread and noticed that you said something about rape mods and combat ai mods not getting along. and thanks for the links been trying to find that dangerous mods list. i'll check vigor out.

Apparently someone noticed in my papyrus in another thread that a few scripts were spamming my log a lot and they turned out to be from Footprints and INEED so uninstalled those.

Footprints on the other goes right under any mod with the name "blood" or "birds" in it's name or any locational damage mod among mods I would never recommend using unless your load order was light enough to be self-propellant into the atmosphere basically. If iNeed was buggy for you, you could try the illogical step and installing the much bigger Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul, aside from the obvious changes like in the title (including all potions, ingredients, foods and recipies) as well as flora and fauna as well as perks (so if you use a perk overhaul mod you will need a patch for it). Aside from these many features, it also has a very light weight needs system, but it's bare bones in that it won't include your companions and won't be very complex or customizable, it's added just for those who would like something simple to go with the cooking overhaul and have a reason to actually make food. If that still doesn't work for you, Chesko has been promising Last Seed for a long time now that will be a needs mod that will interract with his Campfire and Frostfall mods. ETA unknown still, during this year is all he can say, but some of Frostfall's features like inspecting items have had issues, and of course he decided out of the blue to release Simply Knock which could have had an impact on his release schedule. While the footprints errors look like just the reason why you should not use them, feel free to smack whoever told you the ineed "spam" was that. This includes yourself. Those lines are ones you will see from most mods not using an updated function recently figured out (by Chesko IIRC, previously his mods used this method as well), but all they do is just check if you have these mods they mention like Perkus Maximus installed and then activate special compatibility rules in iNeed for those mods. That is all, this is an alternative to being forced to have a compatibility patch for each of those mods listed in that papyrus write off. Once that initial check has been made after the game is loaded, it doesn't do anything else and it doesn't affect your peformance at all. Okay if you save and quit in the middle of an orgy or massive battle you might have issues but you shouldn't do that anyway. And if you do, then load a Janitor save like I describe on the first page of this thread then load your save and it will work anyway.

Use these mods to replace it; Animal Tweaks by the Combat Evolved guys, note that the default version will make a lot of predator animals like Sabrecats incredibly dangerous (I saw a sabrecat kill a low-level dragon once) and that extends to summoned versions if you use mods that add summoned animals, use the "vanilla values" optional file instead of the main file if you want to see animals on about the same danger level as normal. For cubs and the like use Skyrim Immersive Creatures. As for CACO that's a really silly reason to dismiss it outright. What other alchemy items are you adding? It just won't change these items, same as Weapon and Armor Fixes won't fix a custom weapon or Unoffical Patches will fix bugs introduced by your mods.

Yea I saw Skytest on the dangerous mods list and was actually just looking for a replacement. Thing with Immersive Creatures it looks like it adds a lot of creatures I really don't want and didn't read on the main page of it that you could just choose what you want. thing i liked about skytest was the farm animals(more duck, geese, pigs and cows) and seemed like there was more deer and elk and the baby animals true. Due to the nature of the changes made by this mod, CACO is likely to be incompatible with any mod that adds new alchemy ingredients or changes the vanilla alchemy effects. Using ingredients added by other mods may result in potions with no effect (duration of 0) or other oddities. Mods that change the vanilla food items or add new food items may introduce inconsistencies, but other than the possible imbalances, they are probably okay to use with CACO. Actually the only thing I can think of is Sexlab eager Npc's which adds ingredients for aphrodisiacs. Other than that it looks like there is patches. But since we got it out of the way i'm putting INEED back in too, CACO's needs won't conflict correct? As long as I got you on the line let me ask you about Vigor too. Just a quick question about difficulty. It's not gonna be like 'revenge of the enemies' type madness is it? I was consuming 50+ health magicka and stamina potions per dungeon and my followers just got their cunts licked the whole time too.

I was using Aroused, Lover's Comfort and Eager NPCs without any real issues, some lag if I started a orgy with SLEN in the underground bathouse (which was over capacity; all possible beds filled with Amorous lovers including Aela filling the wife spot in the master bedroom, all guards switched with bijin, and Lydia and Serana always following, + 2 summoned wenches to serve drinks and 1 merchant wench, all of them were wearing NiO high heels as well and HDT bodies + 3 adopted children) but no real issues. How demanding is Sexlab Defeat? At the moment, I'm getting absolutely no crashes. I do miss SLEN. The only mod I'm running that I know is unstable is Rigmor of Bruma (which has a number of bad mod interactions detailed on the page). I'm running Amorous Adventures and Defeat for sex content in the game, but would gladly get rid of Defeat if I could get Aroused Redux and thus SLEN and Mia's Lair back into my load order without issues. I am not sure how you did asis but if you make too many npc spawns then make the spawn less or disable the spawns you use too many mods that adds new npc more npc is mor AI and less stable game in the long run. Old book when you say your game is less then stable are you also using ENB boost crash fixed ?? I am using xp32 extended 3.63 and it spams papryus with weapon positions and now have something spamming tags for dd devices. I will work on that, and try to reinstall the skeleton as suggested above. I can use sexlab mass matchmaker on a single target, but lock up everytime on mass target. New game always. Will go dig into the ini files also, something might be jacked up in there.

Old book when you say your game is less then stable are you also using ENB boost crash fixed ?? It's way more stable than it was two years ago. I do use ENBoost, and the SKSE memory fix. Thanks to removing (many) mods that were problematic, using a TESV Merged patch, and other tricks (almost all from this thread), I can play for hours and have heavy combats without crashing. What I can't do is use some mods I'd really like to (Worlds Dawn, Enemy Enhancer, Defeat), or turn up other mods I do use to the level where I want them (the Wenches series). If you count the merged mods I use, I'm running around 400 mods, squeezed down to a load order of around 150 plugins. That's a pretty good custom Skyrim install. Just not quite where I'd like it to be.

For cubs and the like use Skyrim Immersive Creatures. As for CACO that's a really silly reason to dismiss it outright. What other alchemy items are you adding? It just won't change these items, same as Weapon and Armor Fixes won't fix a custom weapon or Unoffical Patches will fix bugs introduced by your mods. Just saw this. Thing with Immersive Creatures it looks like it adds a lot of creatures I really don't want and didn't read on the main page of it that you could just choose what you want. thing i liked about skytest was the farm animals(more duck, geese, pigs and cows) and seemed like there was more deer and elk and the baby animals true. Due to the nature of the changes made by this mod, CACO is likely to be incompatible with any mod that adds new alchemy ingredients or changes the vanilla alchemy effects. Using ingredients added by other mods may result in potions with no effect (duration of 0) or other oddities. Mods that change the vanilla food items or add new food items may introduce inconsistencies, but other than the possible imbalances, they are probably okay to use with CACO. Actually the only thing I can think of is Sexlab eager Npc's which adds ingredients for aphrodisiacs. Other than that it looks like there is patches. But since we got it out of the way i'm putting INEED back in too, CACO's needs won't conflict correct? As long as I got you on the line let me ask you about Vigor too. Just a quick question about difficulty. It's not gonna be like 'revenge of the enemies' type madness is it? I was consuming 50+ health magicka and stamina potions per dungeon and my followers just got their cunts licked the whole time too. CACO and Eager's aphrodisiac's should be 100 % compatible since it's entirely new ingredients using entirely new recipies. Besides the shout and spells are way better for raising arousal anyway. For random animals alone, try this; http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57413/? No AI, just lots of new animals. Note that if you use bestiality mods the new animals here will not register, but BadDog has made Creature Framework recognize all the Immersive Creatures, so you can have Draman sex etc. However note also that Creature Framework is horribly horribly resource intensive, this is not a slight on the mod (just like with SOS Full it was not) it is just how the mods work. Vigor is entirely customizable, in that most of it's feaures can be turned on and off in it's MCM, personally I play without injuries. It's no more of a difficulty leap than Duel + Combat Evolved was for you (well mainly Combat Evolved, which is fully compatible). Vigor will drastically change your game. Also check out the author's other words, especailly the armor and weapons abilities mod which is designed to go along with Vigor and compatible with all perk mods except Perkus Maximus (which you obviously should not use regardless). Aroused is actually a LOT more resource friendly than I thought it was. Extremely little impact on your system overall. I was using Aroused, Lover's Comfort and Eager NPCs without any real issues, some lag if I started a orgy with SLEN in the underground bathouse (which was over capacity; all possible beds filled with Amorous lovers including Aela filling the wife spot in the master bedroom, all guards switched with bijin, and Lydia and Serana always following, + 2 summoned wenches to serve drinks and 1 merchant wench, all of them were wearing NiO high heels as well and HDT bodies + 3 adopted children) but no real issues. How demanding is Sexlab Defeat? At the moment, I'm getting absolutely no crashes. I do miss SLEN. The only mod I'm running that I know is unstable is Rigmor of Bruma (which has a number of bad mod interactions detailed on the page). However some skin mods really do not like ENB-fueled weathers, they could end up showing bad artifacts with those settings on for reasons I have no idea why. Play around and see if it applies to yours. Note that CoT, ELFX and similar mods are fairly safe to uninstall, but make sure to wait for 30 days (go to an interior, turn off needs mods, then "set timescale to 100000" or so then wait a bit while watching the calendar, then set it to what you normally use, save, quit, reload, go play). Otherwise you could encounter crashes.

I am not sure how you did asis but if you make too many npc spawns then make the spawn less or disable the spawns you use too many mods that adds new npc more npc is mor AI and less stable game in the long run. Old book when you say your game is less then stable are you also using ENB boost crash fixed ?? This kill most types of crashes i been having and my mod list is even bigger then yours. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73618 ENBoost is fully included in an upgraded fashion when combined with ENBHost in any ENB using ENBseries v0.2xx or newer. By the way what's so bad about blood mods? or more specifically enhanced blood textures? has an orgy of endorsements, that's the only reason i trusted it before. I also noticed you said in one of your posts you are using Underground Bathhouse is that correct? It's a good mod no problems?
Mimirue17 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 ok so removed fnis (main and creatures), sexlabs framework, xp32 skelly. Did fresh downloads of all of those plus the new enbseries 305 and the enblocal.ini from the enboost 6.2. Installed all of that, put them in proper load order, reran FNIS and started a new game. Using Amorous, and have killed the first dragon and had the fling with Irelith. Sexed up the wenches I came across along with most of the generic NPC's (most of them in orgy mode as that seems to cause the most issues) and no crashes to this point. Using the stable mode of the enblocal file (2 and 3 I think) and have the video mem set to 4gigs witch is what my card has. Previously had it set to 9 gigs I think with it doing some swapping. We will see how it goes from here, but would have crashed multiple times by that point before.

However some skin mods really do not like ENB-fueled weathers, they could end up showing bad artifacts with those settings on for reasons I have no idea why. Play around and see if it applies to yours. Note that CoT, ELFX and similar mods are fairly safe to uninstall, but make sure to wait for 30 days (go to an interior, turn off needs mods, then "set timescale to 100000" or so then wait a bit while watching the calendar, then set it to what you normally use, save, quit, reload, go play). Otherwise you could encounter crashes. here are some screenshots with that using Vivid weathers and ENB along with pure waters and Tamriel Reloaded HD. Skin Texture is the Pure.

I've had some problems after installing SexSlaves, got crashes during long scenes etc, so I'm trying to set MO up right this time, with TES5Edit and Wrye Batches and everything (usually I just put mods in, run loot and PaMa if it's installed and go... ). The aphrodisiac has only a that significant a chance to help your sex if your Speech skill is maxed and you are both Dibella's Champion and Mara's Champion or none of that and instead wearing the Amulet of Articulation (auto-success on all speech checks). I have all of that except the Amulet, and I have Aroused's settings set so high that I never use the spells in Eager or aphrodisiacs because their arousal is max when they see me basically, and I still fail occasionally. Which you can by the way, just go into Aroused's MCM and set all the sliders to maximum, go to the Puppet Master page and set your own character's arousal gain to almost nothing and your outfit to revealing, every NPC will always be highly aroused, you will not, it's very much a cheat but it means you can ignore any arousal-increasing effect. Blood mods are bad because they actually do what you accused iNeed of and leave a ton of traces in your save that build up over time and will kill your game. Yes it has a lot of endorsements but so do Wet & Cold and a lot of other things guaranteed to kill off your game in the long run. Please post your PC specs, specifically your processor, RAM and graphics card. Also have you made any alterations to the Skyrim.ini or SkyrimPrefs.ini files? Please try again without Lover's Comfort for now. Also change your skeleton from XP32 to XPMSE, go for version 2.82 as least people have issues with that, if that works fine then try changing it for the latest version and see if the likes of load times or instability increase. http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/676-xp32-maximum-skeleton-extended/ Alternately if that doesn't help with the skeleton, then if you are using HDT Physics Extension try getting rid of that changing for now to this body or something equally simple; http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37900/? without the HDT meshes in more advanced bodies. Processor is a AMD a10-7800 Radeon R7 Ram is (if I'm right) 8.413 MB Graphics Card is AMD Radeon R7 Series + R7 240 Dual Graphics I'm not using HDT Physics Extension, that's why I used the XP32 (thought it would be performance frendlier than the one with HDT, which I don't use, if that makes any sense^^) Just got done with reinstalling everything (TES5Edit, ENBoost and I Can't Believe it's not ENB 2, CoT (save to clean? Loot says it's dirty), Alternate Start and, cause I had problems with it, SexSlaves and all the required mods to run it. So, relatively Vanilla compared to my usual Load Order, for testing purposes.)
