Subject2Host Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I have a question regarding how I might fix something I believe might have been left over from a mod I once installed. A while back, I installed the sexlab drain mod and the playersuccubusquest mod. Not too long after, I decided I didn't like them, since they had unreliable features that failed to work correctly. However, after manually removing every file, it left over this weird instance that happens occasionally during sex in which my partner will catch on fire and cause npcs to become hostile, although they never actually attack me. Any idea what might cause this? Manually remove? Why would you do that, you don't use managers? That's never wise. Basically the mod coudl have instead of adding a file merely changed a property in the files you already have, now you either have that property left over, or you have that entire file missing from another mod. It could be a lot of other things going on here. Give me a papyrus log of you having sex and a load order and I'll take a look, for now all I can say is do NOT manually install if you think you might uninstall something later, that's what mod managers are for, either use a mod manager or know exactly what you are doing (not just install/uninstall, what you want to isntall and never remove). Or be prepared to do a complete reinstall of Skyrim every time you mess up some files, which I'm 99 % certain you are going to have to do here, the 1 % pending on if we see anything on the papyrus. I've actually reinstalled sexlab since then, so I don't even see how it's possible to happen. Also, how do I find the papyrus log?
fishburger67 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I've been having a minor but annoying bug in an otherwise very stable game. My mail never comes. At all. The courier is permanently off duty. I was using Lilly Female Courier Replacer with the Provincial Courier service, and to be fair to both of those mods they had been working fine on earlier run throughs. Still, a similar bug has been reported as a symptom of changing Lilly's residence (which I did not do), and another similar bug had been reported from conflicts between the Provincial Courier Service and Immersive Citizens. 1) Tried patching PCS and IC. Didn't fix it. 2) Tried using Savegame Script Scalpel to remove all traces of Lilly and PCS. Still didn't fix it. So, right now, I'm playing a game in a world without mail. When I get to quests that require visits from the courier, this will be a problem. I can console through it, probably, but if anyone can suggest a fix I'd be grateful. On the plus side, I've found that Savegame Script Scalpel has really helped me find ways to safely remove mods from my savegames. Hopefully you got this fixed because the next Andrew update has a mail delivery in it.

I'll uninstall the Black Horse Courier next, and Holidays, the only remaining mods that really trigger mail. Can't think what else it might be, and I really don't want to start this particular character over, as he has gotten all of the tedious set-up quests done now and is finally running around with my preferred set of companions and residences. On a slightly positive note, it's otherwise a pretty stable game. I miss some of the things I've had to cut, but it was worth it to have so few crashes.
Mart0206 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Hi there, folks. Just one question. After updating USKP to version 2.1.3b, a lot of text, exspecially - item names (not all, but round about 20 %) - Quest names and descriptions (not all, but round about 20 %)) - dialog lines for choose and spoken text lines (not all, but round about 20 %) - books and notes the game has (not all, but round about 20 %) - spelltomes and their menu descritions (not all, but round about 20 %) are in english (i play the german version of Skyrim). The audio is still german, just the text is affected. Not a problem like a game breaking thing, but i just want to know, what happend and how am i able to revert it. greetings Mart
D_ManXX2 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 I am getting this notification "Your follower tires of you and leaves" then the follower leaves. It is not in AFT or any of the scripts I have unpacked. Anyone have any idea where it comes from? I am getting this with EFF too but EFF has an option in the mcm to turn off the npc from going away after a few days like what happpened in your game.

D_ManXX2 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I am having problems setting up ENB properly. Here is my system specs: Win 7 16 gig of ram 2 T harddrive GTX 750 TI 2 gig memory The real problem i have been getting lately is the keeps random freeze but when i ctrl alt delete skyrim.exe is at 1.2 gig of ram usage and enbhost has about 400 mb Maybe SKSE and enb is messing up somehow i have SKSE at 768 and the other 256 just the normal size for SKSE but enb is like this: Expand system is set to false reduce system is to true all other option is set to false execpt for enable compression is set to true memory is set to: 2048 video memory size and reserved for memory is 64mb
Sacremas Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 The 1.2 GB RAM usage is the reason for your crash, Skyrim is a 32 bit program and even Firefox crashes for me if I use that much memory (it requires several hundred open pornsites). However that's all I can say I am afraid. I haven't really experimented enough with an ENB's settings to know how it should be set up. I can only suggest you take the question over to Boris Voronstov's board instead, he's replied twice to me before and even before he did the knowledgeable users of that board pointed me in a good direction; http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/ Beyond that my only suggestion is an uninformed guess that may just break your ENB entirely; I know RealVision works fine for me and does as it should regarding ENBHost and such, so maybe try using it's inis with your current ENB and see if that helps? As said you may very well just break your ENB entirely in the process, but should be easy to revert as well.
D_ManXX2 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Thanks for that, but i currently use performance monitor and it seem to skyrocket my GPU whenever a sexact is happening. When not using any sexlab mods my game seem to be extremely stable even though it is a heavily modded game.
Old Book Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 You ever look at Ulfric, and think "I like Ulfric, but I'd him him better if he were a hot Anime babe"?Well, now she is! Sacremas Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 Some modding advice some are not going to like; If you can find any way at all to do so, leave Aroused out of your mod list. I'm doing a new sex-focused game with a female character and it's just going so massively better than my last try it's not even funny. Basically at the level of modding that we're doing if you're even reading this thread at this point (unless it's for laffs) then you almost certainly have too many things active (HDT, ENB, high quality textures, scripted mods like Frostfall or the Epic Overhaul mods, etc) that you simply do not have the resources left to run Aroused or the mods that rely on it. At least it turned out I certainly didn't. Even Aroused Redux it seems is taking just too much resources out of my game to be usable with any sort of heavy modded game. And this of course means that a mod like Sex Slaves or Eager NPCs just isn't going to work out for you. What I would suggest is that you go for two types of games, a sex based games with Eager, Sexlife, Sex Slaves etc where you leave out all the advanced mods, cut down on the texture use (I'd say limiting yourself to 2k textures, though I'm going to be honest here I'm not certain texture quality will have any impact considering ENBoost, it might if you have a 2 MB or less card or 6 GB or less RAM, or you are for some weird reason NOT running ENBoost), and leave out as much scripts as possible. Leave out extra NPC mods like Inconsequential NPCs and the Wenches mods (ESPECIALLY Hateful!) as well. Cut down on HDT as much as possible, preferably restrict it to bodies alone. Play the sex mods, and many at this point will find the game to be all you need as many on LL isn't all that interested in the "full experience" (as I mentioned on the first post). For the rest of you try a profile without Aroused, note that mods like Spouses Enhanced, Radiant Prostitution, More Nasty Critters, Defeat and Submit and a lot more do not require Aroused. I think this is why FoxFingers took out Aroused as a requirement for Amorous Adventures waybackwhen. I'm going to get some protests on this so lay it on me, but try it for yourself and pay attention to your performance, your lack of crashes and your papyrus if you go for either very light game for Aroused or leave Aroused out of the heavy game. Also does anyone use UUNP, or would be interested in some Bodyslide with MO for NPCs tips? I've made a UUNP preset that's basically somewhat flatchested boyish small A-cup with just a basically athletic body (with a decent butt as such, the ass being the body's biggest muscle after all) on slider 0, and slightly overweight with hentai style tits on 100, with the ideal of 50 ending up basically on SevenBase Bombshell (slightly more natural and less surgically enhanced looking) 100. Yeah Bomshell 100 is my 50. Basically it's a preset that allows for the greatest possible variation in bodies found on NPCs. I'm also working on applying it to Bijin mods, and made a new merged Bijin mod with enhancements, new weight slider meant that unless they're meant to be a little overweight top weight a girl got was 60. Note this will require a new game or your NPCs will look fucked, you may be able to fix it with selectively disable/enable and using consoles to manually set their weights.

Just a brief test so far but all scholngs have responded correctly. Not sure I use anything that will actually be effected as I do not have any of the DD stuff installed or relationship stuff besides Amorous.
Weyban Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Heyyy long time no see poeple That female Ulfric mod made me giggle. Turning every character in Skyrim into a female version would be some great way to spend time, and it would be more epic than the voiced Mudcrab mod... The female Heimskr mod was great, too, but sadly it didn't help me fight the urge to kill him. Luckily whenever I can't stop resisting the urge anymore I'm a Jarl already, haha. I just got to say that after months of playing with the biggest mod list I ever had, I experienced like two crashes at best, and that was because I ignored Sacremas' advice of not stuffing mods into my order mid-playthrough. Still on CBBE, sadly, though now that I've learned how to use BodySlide I'm soon ready to switch to 7B or UNP. To be honest I had hoped that by now that godlike promised feature from NMM that loads profiles and downloads/install mods in order was out already, but alas, I haven't heard any news yet! Almost like I dreamt that only, LOL By the way, does anyone know whether there is a good way to fix the neck seam caused by running both SG Female Textures Renewal as well as Ethereal Elven Overhaul? I've been experimenting in character creation a bit and, of course, the two mods are incompatible. EEO seems to cause all kinds of trouble, although I can't deny that I like the style it propagates. Otherwise - can anyone suggest an alternative way of improving Elven faces? I've heard of mods that basically turn the elven faces into human-race ones; any experience?

I'd love to try your new merged pack and bodyslide. I'm two thirds of the way through a run with Rigmor now, but after I'll be ready for a new game. I'd hate to say goodbye to aroused redux and SLEN, but I've noticed how much I've had to turn down Aroused Redux and Hateful Wences to stay crash free. Aroused redux is only updating every 240 seconds as it is. I'm using Hateful Wenches with the 10% spawn patch and all of the other options turned down to 10% as well; it stopped my crashes in combat, but I also lost that feeling of battles with the Hateful Wenches being desperate do or die.
Old Book Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 So, another mod that is a bit redundant, but that I like: Legendary Mercenaries. 34 companions, plus custom weapons and armor, scattered around taverns and temples. Somewhat like UKCs collections, it's nice having all of those companions and weapons in one mod and already spread around a bit. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71094/?

Try Fair Skin Complexion instead of SG Female, and leave EEO out entirely. Your elves will look pretty gorgeous with that alone, try starting up a new game (with Alternate Start of course to skip carriage ride) and try to make a elven character yourself. EEO only has meshes and textures and doesn't add anything to the world of note, it's safe to remove mid playthrough. Delete it while you are out it, it's horribly outdated by now and conflicts with anything that wants to change elven races as well, like a racial overhaul such as Imperious or SkyRe Races.

(Fucking goddamn hell I hate this forum's quote system with such a passion I hope whoever designed it dies of acute constipation, say what you want about the other forum but it's quoting was so much better.) I'm in the middle of testing my merged bijin, I had to make a lot of changes to make them work with the new bodies and hdt vag and I'm not entirely sure it worked properly. If that part doesn't work out as it should, all I've done that's of any effect is just use the merge script to merge the ESPs together, which turns out to work just fine.
Sacremas Posted December 15, 2015 Author Posted December 15, 2015 I can pretty much say that my new Bijin and Bodyslide model is a bit of a failure. I'm probably going to revert back to SevenBase soon. Meanwhile can anyone (or actually preferably as many as possible) try out something that I'm testing and see if you get the same results I am? Use OneTweak, a SKSE plugin and run your game in Windowed mode. OneTweak will cause the window to be automatically "borderless" faultlessly (or it does on mine at least). And if I'm not mistaken the stability of the game has increased absolutely massively running it like this. However I'm not sure of this, which is why I want others running heavy modded/semi-unstable games to try this out as well and see if it has any effect. Note that I have not changed the ini file in OneTweak at all, I've just activated it and switched to windowed (1280x720) mode. As a SKSE plugin it's fine to put into a game mid-play, nor should it have any significant issue removing later (but keep a copy of your save game when you put it in just to be sure). I have had multiple sex scenes and used Dragon Combat Overhaul in a big involved battle as well as played for hours at a time, not a single crash so far.
Weyban Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I've run OneTweak for years with big mod orders without problems as well, haven't touched OneTweak at all. There's just one thing: Tab out of the window while the game is in Loading Screen and the game crashes 10/10 times. My problem is I can't give you a "before" testing experience, because I used OneTweak even while using NMM, before having seen your guide and switching to MO. Most of my crashes were then most likely the result of faulty modding and they were frequent crashes, like once every 15-45 minutes. If it means anything, though, OneTweak was in the modlist I made as a result of building it with the help of this guide and it was never a problematic plugin to have in there.... Unlike Wet & Cold. As an addendum, I don't think it's possible for me to play Skyrim without OneTweak, it's THAT good! Right, by the way I got rid of EEO (good riddance), although Fair Skin Complexion really isn't doing it for me. With some effort, elves can still look rather pretty, though, even without any Elf modifiers. Maybe I can make use of Fair Skin Complexion for elven races while keeping the SG textures for human races? Things to look forward to for the weekend. EEO had me strongarmed into believing it was the only solution due to high downloads and great reception all across the internet, though the neckseams, incompatibilities and bugs that the mod causes make it as dangerous as Wet & Cold xD Since I'm setting up a new profile that plans to move from CBBE to other bodies, what's the current consensus on the absolute best body... 7b? UNPB? Is the XPMS3 skeleton the one to go for right now and if yes, any conflicts with Dual Sheath Redux? Plus, how many LoversLab mods are you guys running, which ones couldn't you go without? PS: Did you guys see some of the latest Beyond Skyrim screenshots, by the way? Man, I am SO looking forward to getting back into Ayleid Ruins and hoarding Welkynd Stones...
Sacremas Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 I would suggest you dump Dual Sheath. Or try it without at least, it's a bit annoying not having it but the mod is just really badly set up with both requiring a SkyProc and running an ingame cloak spell that can cause NPC hostility. It can also cause a bit too much strain on your game and even potentially crash it, which is really silly for such a low impact it provides. I consider it another W&C. For skeletons Groovatama's skeleton is the only one worth using these days. Forget about all the others, his is a continuation of XP32 with a lot more features and mod support. For bodies you really have to pick your own. UUNP is generally considered the best and it's real cool if you manage to make it work. Personaly I prefer 7b. Let me know if you figure out how to give Fair Skin to just some races, since all races share the same skin (the elven races having a separate one is why EEO has an ESP), from high elves to orcs, only Argonians and Khajiit have their own. Only custom races like EEO or something like Ningheim can have their own skins. I suggest you do help and player.placeatme a few of your favorite NPCs with Fair Skin and see how they look with it, you might be surprised.
Old Book Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I'm now using OneTweak and windowed mode. Haven't noticed any changes, but I wasn't crashing before. I'll try turning Hateful Wenches up to 25% and see if my setup can tolerate it in windowed mode.
Sacremas Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 Here's some more tweaks I*d like you to test, these should in theory improve both your performance and also lower your script lag, letting you run more scripts at once. These are ini tweaks, I haven't used tweaks like these before. To make sure you can revert I suggest you either take a copy of your ini files (located in your Profiles directory) or of your entire profile. There is a chance you will see instabilities, and possibly crashes with these. Or you may see none of the sort, and just a very big performance boost. It was quite frankly stunning the boost I got. MAKE SURE YOU USE VSYNCH OF SOME SORT TO CAP YOUR FPS as even with a totally modded out game on an old system you might see enough of a performance gain from this that your framerate goes high enough that your physics start getting wonky and Havoc falls apart entirely. Capping your FPS on 60 should in theory stop that. Using this tweak in my game even seemed to fix the lip synch problem that reared its ugly head again in the 1.9 update for Skyrim. In Skyrim.ini add/edit:[Papyrus]fUpdateBudgetMS=800fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=800fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=2000iMinMemoryPageSize=256iMaxMemoryPageSize=512iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=2457600(Source: Skyrim Script Lag)Gameplay:Better Aiming - These tweaks will help improve aim and range with bows and crossbows.Add/edit in Skyrim.ini:[Combat]fMagnetismStrafeHeadingMult=0.0fMagnetismLookingMult=0.0f1PArrowTiltUpAngle=0.7f3PArrowTiltUpAngle=0.7f1PBoltTiltUpAngle=0.7f3PBoltTiltUpAngle=0.7[Actor]fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist=12288.0000(Source: Skyrim Archery Tweak) I have added my own skyrim.ini as well as skyrimprefs.in, enblocal.ini, enbseries.ini and load order to this if anyone is interested. Old Book Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I'll give it a try. I'm using Spini ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69787/?) to set my ini files now, and it fixed a lot of stutter problems I'd had with my previous inis. I can always use it to roll back if these tweaks cause issues.
