Besides personal taste in corporeal morphology aesthetics and options for further modifications,one can decide which body is best for oneself by doing a cursory search for clothing and armor mods related to that body to see which body has the most items which appeal to them personally available for use with said body type.

 

Anything else leads to pointless squabbling about non-quantifiable things with no objective correct answer... and is a sure path to getting the thread locked, anyway.

I use UNPB. I find it the best range of body and the breast also looks natural and doesn't fight against gravity.

Well I can' tell you what's best since that's subjective but there are a few you should avoid because they're awful.

I will say though, the trouble with UNP that CBBE doesn't have quite as much issue with is body variants. CBBE's Bodyslide makes it so any compatible armor will fit whatever body you slide. UNP has fixed variants, so not all armors you find will be the shape you want. UNP has a greater variety of armors to start with, though, so in exchange for the shape issue, your potential options are wider.

Comparing body replacers is like comparing apples and oranges.  You just have to buckle down, do your research and find which body is right for you.

 

would be easier to choose if someone made a comparating topic (and of course, they would not look at it^^)

 

 

cbbe and unp are the most common because they are old so there's a lot of outfits for it (and texture&morphs)

 

 

dreamgirl is a unp with better weights but there's less choice for outfits, and messing the uv maps mean you get some seams with classic textures

top model is a unp that stay at weight 0, only the boobs get bigger

 

lady body is a modified victoria 3 to look like a skyrim bodie, head isn't a modified vanilla head so most mods need a conversion to work, that's the biggest problem

demonica is the same with victoria 4.2, so it have the same problems, too bad it was mess up to look like a skyrim bodie, v4 details are on another level (and in daz there's no seam, editing a daz neck to look like a skyrim head texture, nobody can do that)

It depends on what you want. CBBE is often praised because of bodyslide, while UNP has a tad more Armor Support.

 

While I currently use 7B, UNPB is a personal favorite of mine for one single reason : It can basically use armors that would both be for UNP-only or a 7B variant without the breasts changing too much, since it uses the same textures as UNP and 7B, which means in a way even more armor support.

 

If you like UNP/UNPB's shape I'd definitely recommend sticking to it.

If there's a thing that I've learned about female body replacers is that there's no such thing like the best body, it's just a matter of personal taste, because every body mod has its pros and cons and you'll always like one better than the other(s). I started using UNP and used for a long time, than I changed to UNPB but used for a short time, than I changed to 7Base Bombshell and that's it, never changed again. My advice is...test all of them, well, at least the most popular ones, and see which one you like the most !!!

The shape comes down to preference of course, but there is an obective way to determine which is "best".

 

Higher poly count, better available textures, less deformation during poses and animations, more support from the author, lots of available goodies to use with it, etc.....

Mhm, the topic allows for me to try clearing a small doubt I have, regarding all of the bodies...

 

I've been using UNP for a long time, and then, changed to 7b Bombshell.. Also converting all of my UNP armors for it. However, I found the amazing UNP Bodyslide here in the forums, which allows me to make use of the same variety found in the CBBE body... 

 

Even so, if I make a skinnier version of Bomshell, or a curvaceously bigger one, my armors are still those of the base model of Bombshell, without the changes I made in the new body mesh.. (Or is there any -simple- way I can make them fit the custom mesh?)

 

My question is - in case I change to CBBE, and convert all of my Bombshell armors to their CBBE versions (hopefully), will the armors, in the case, fit and adapt to the custom mesh body made in Bodyslide? So that, everytime I create the new model, press 'build', and have it applied, all of my armors also will be displayed on it? (Instead of keeping the default shape I installed, and reverting the custom body back to the base while the armor is on)?

Personally, I prefer Lady Body (Demonica). To me, it looks a lot more realistic and higher quality.

@OP - Demonica seems to only work as a separate race, isn't it? ;T Not as a female body replacer.. I saw there's a Lady Body 2.0 that does it, but, I think it has no HDT or SOS support.. ;/

why not?

 

 

install bodychange, and copy paste demonica files into folder x (if you give that mesh to npc, you will have to replace all outfits)

 

rename lbdemonicator.dds to femalebody.dds, demleg to femalehand, demhead to femalehead... (copy paste and renaming, is it hard?)

 

rename dembody.nif to femalebody.nif

rename demhands.nif to femalefeet.nif (or copy paste that into femalebody.nif, less nif are better) (in nifskope you will have to change sbp_x to whatever you choose)

copy paste demleg.nif into demfeet.nif and rename to femalehands.nif

rename demhead.nif to femalehead.nif

 

open tesedit and make the head_x load the tri file you have copy paste into folder x

 

that's it, now in bodychange mcm menu, in one click you can switch from unp to demonica, and another click and you can switch from demonica to cbbe

 

 

you don't need anything else, here is my breton, with xpms and the reduced jiggle hdt
