I've thought about providing an alternative version of the NSAP scripts where all the Vaignal cumshots are Anal and really working the SOS poisition so that vaginal animations can also look like anal animations just for the guy/guy stuff. It would be basically an independent little update to the PEX files that you'd install after you update NSAP. Would this of any use to anyone?

Okay, well since there has been some interest, what I will do is change everything so it's male-male orintated. So all cums scenes, where applicable, will be set to anal first of all, all actors set to male and MM tags added to a majority of the animations. That part will be easy and I'll do some tests to see how it runs. You guys will need to feed back to me here if you have issues using it with other mods. I won't upload a full NSAP version, it will simply be a patch which overwrites the script that contains this data so you'd isntall NSAP then this patch. If successful I will either added two version on NSAP to it's main page or continue it as a patch on the main page,

 

Working on schlong alignment may take some time as it will be done manually and sometimes it won't even be perfect/possible but I will do my best. The only issue I have with schlong alignment is I will be aligning it based on average body and penis size (I prefer mine to be realistic so I have the standard body with a standard schlong between 1-3). Anyone using bigger schlongs (ie. third leg schlongs. :D) You may have an issue where in vertain aniamtion your schlong comes out the back of your partner's head or growing out their back or bursting out their stomach. You may need to make your own adjustments here, I'm hoping to find where SexLab exports it's saved settings and adjustments so maybe I can make life easier. :D

Heh...my character's name is Galad Third Leg...so yah, he has issues with certain animations, but I'm used to it.  Position the camera just right...use those schlong bending keys...it works out.  Most of the time.    

 

I will way that it'd be nice if animations could somehow detect the "end" of the schlong, so for example, whether you have a size 3 schlong or a size 20 schlong, the receiver's mouth (or other orifice) is positioned at the end of it, and they "take" however much they can, even if that is only the first few inches.   But I guess animations just dont work that way.

By change,do you mean that the pre-existing M/F animations will all be realigned so that they no longer function as vaginal penetration animations or that you will add separate M/M animation entries derived from the M/F animations? I take it to be the former judging by the mention of the patch for NSAP as well as releasing two separate versions,but I want to be sure here. 

 

If the former,that might be slightly inconvenient for those who like to use the animations for both male and female characters (and,of course,hermaphrodites) in the same playthrough since it necessitates re-installing the M/F version before being able to use those NSAP animations properly on female specific anatomy.

 

Sure,all of the standard Sexlab animations will still be functional and thus it won't be a serious problem that the extra animations will only work for anal penetration,hence my calling it a minor inconvenience,but it would still be nice to have both at the same time.

Unfortunately fauxfurry I cannot accomodate for every single user and every specific type of gameplay preference. People will need to make their own judgements on what they want to have and make perhaps their own adjustments. Taking into your suggestion of inconvience, currently a person who likes MF play throughs has everything set, yet MM has nothing. When trying to cater for a MM player, I am now pointed that someone who may like to play both MF and MM is incovienced (unless they have something like Mod Organizer) because they have two individual options.

 

As someone who plays the game with male/male elements, I already amend the NSAP script to work for my benefit, so my offer was to make it available here as well as I am already doing this. The user would simply overwrite the current NSAP script with the patch and all animations will be set to do the anal cum texture on orgasm instead of vaginal and ideally in the future perhaps have SOS alignment to fit (where possible) an anal alignment.

 

The only way to have both (aniamtions for MF and MM is seriously to duplicate the entire NSAP process, meaning that all animations will have duplication and be on an extended MCM menu. One for MF and one for MM. It won't mean a bigger file size but it will mean a larger extended menu. Not impossible but can be done just more time will go into updating and testing. But with the current animation limit people aren't going to be able to reigster them all with both and will need to select some for each category.

 

I think for the time being then I won't release an alternative MM script and will wait until the SexLab update comes out to see if we get the increased limit. I will make an informed decision after seeking more input at that point on how to evolve NSAP for a winder audience. I will leave things as they are.

 

I appreciate that you have pointed out others who may be affected by the offer and appologise that it was overlooked.

Disappointed that this made you decide not to release an alternative before the mythical SL update comes out.  *sigh*  My view is as you stated -- MF already have tons of options, MM has pretty much none.  And if you release it, doesnt mean that anybody has to install it--they'd be in the same situation they were.

As Fauxfurry suggested I could be inconveniencing people who wish to use both sets of scripts for animation so they can have MF and a MM version and would need to change which NSAP script they are using.

 

My only argument against it is these people have half the benefit by having MF animations already set for their beck and call with alignment and textures aimed for Vaginal animations, but those who want it to bend towards MM don't have that except for a few anal animations. Yet when trying to benefit one group, I am told I could be penalizing the other with options. As you correctly said Uman2631, they don't need to download it. But the issue is that they have to decided which one they want.

 

As someone who plays MM I can empathize for those who feel inconvenienced at the amount or mods aimed to a heterosexual-male audience but we make do with what we have. Some gentle encouragement and support has led to some taking note of other types of players. But as modders we sometimes get more negatives than positives. "I want to see this". "Why can't we have this?" "Why does this not include what I want?"

 

I have an interest in MM so I have taken time to study and learn and want to try and bring something for those players like me. But I spend a lot of my free time adding new animations, scripting, proof reading and testing that I don't play Skyrim as it has sucked the fun out of it. I have ideas and projects yet I have no desire to do so.

It is no problem whatsoever. All I was doing is pointing out a minor inconvenience. 

If you decide not to make the extra menu options,then it is on someone who wants the extra options to add them.

So I'm like brand new here.  Actually, this is the first time I've posted on any forum ever.  Pretty much a noob (like, I can barely get NMM to work), so I really can't imagine how much work it must be to create scripts and animations.  I got really excited when I saw your 12/1 post, so hopefully you do release MM content.  The focus on MF can get old, though I am grateful for what does exist for men.  Long story short, thanks for posting this topic and for working on it, and it would be really amazing! Also, your original post was on my birthday.

 

On a separate note, I need to read more and figure out exactly how SOS and SAM differ.  As far as I can tell, SAM integrates parts of SOS, but it adds some really cool extra customization, and it doesn't have Mighty Beast/Werewolves functionality.  Additionally there might be problems with modded armor in SAM?

Simply put, they're two different things that do the same job (mostly), with different results. SAM and SOS use the same skeleton and are made by the same author, but for the most part, that's where the similarities end. SOS is made with the vanilla body in mind, so everything from the base game will most likely work as far as armors. SAM, on the other hand, changes the bodies of every male you come across, and so armor has to be reshaped to fit it, which a handful of people are doing a good job of it. SOS is a bit more focused on the manparts, where SAM is more focused on the body in general (fat, skinny, muscular, combinations, etc). As far as animations go, they'll usually work about the same. Mighty Beasts is sort of integrated into SAM, from what I can tell, but it's still not finished.

 

In my personal opinion, SAM is better in every way unless you want to use a custom race, which SOS is easier to work with in that case.

 SOS is made with the vanilla body in mind, so everything from the base game will most likely work as far as armors. 

 

 

False. SOS is a new body mesh too. Still need armor conversion.
 
But now, SAM has more armor (conversion or whatever) than SOS.
 
For me, SOS is outdated.

I have been watching this thread for a while looking for possible juicy additions to my game  ^_^ , I'm a woman who RP's a Male Bisexual Dovahkin.

 

Rydin, I do hope one day you might decide to create such a Mod and make it available, as has been said there is so much attention on M/F sex, M/M has been all but forgotten :( ...my Dovahkin obviously uses both sexuality options and personally I don't care if some of the animations during his M/F encounters don't exactly line up if it means he gets to enjoy more M/M friendly encounters :) ...I would love to see Male Dovahkins get some more love and feel it is a small issue Bisexual Dovahkins can live with if it throws some of their M/F animations out a bit...if they can have better M/M animations that would be awesome :)

SAM has more armor conversions than SOS??  When did that happen??  DS converted virtually every armor there is, including Dawnguard and Dragonborn, plus nearly all the Tera armors.

 

Personally, I don't care for SAM.  It's been very glitchy for me, and in general I find that it produces results that look "off".  But I'm glad that people at least have choices.

Could not have said it any better. :) I'm a woman that RP's bi-sexual males as well, and slight misalignment of some m/f animations is no big deal to me if it means improved m/m animations.
