Gotta say Ive been using the Lykaios mod since I found it on Nexus, sad to see its down on there but glad to see someones doing something for canine dicks.  I'm a bit confused, looking through the thread I see that there's SoS support, but no download? Is there one for the stand alone dick or nah? Just wondering since the dog dick I have now is...weird to say the least.

so Im sure this has been answered before, However.

What is the exact progress on this? If I'm right the textures and model is done leaving only the SoS and Sheath functionality left.

but as an estimate how much in percent is this done, I'm not asking when it will be done but how much has been done.

Look back a page or two and scroll through to find porche's posts with spoilers. He's made a completely new model and is on his way to animating it.

The more I tinker with this so verts don't clip... the more I wish I would have hacked ZBrush and used that x.x

 

OCD IS IN OVERDRIVE NOW! But buddy of mine told me to model it this way first then clean up to static position since it's less vert clutter. Made sense to me and certainly will be a little more rewarding and less stressful once near the end. Since I'm going to be using shapekeys (as a test for smooth operation/transition) it should really show what will and won't work.. not a task I look forward to :/

 

 

 

 

What I did here was molester the original muscular weewee into what will be the sheath. Tons easier to make the 'folding' effect by just taking the ring of verts from the shaft and bunching them up with subnerf on to see how it will look once rendered. This is also serving as a size ref since the last model wasn't exactly sized proportionately to the host. I probably should ask Kritta eventually, about the average size of the males (tall, short, built, lithe, etc) so I'd have a better mental image on sizing for the other variants that will come of this.

 

 

 

And now (after like... 3hrs non-stop... MY EYES! @_@) this happened. I'm liking it much better than the prior screwup of mine and the ol' chap was right, doing it this way makes it a little easier to know what I'm working with. So now, morphing everything to it's static position will be easy as 3.14 :D

 

 

Bottom line, this one is turning out to be a much better success than the prior models. Also, this will yeild as a base for the variants I plan on making (blunt tip, lanky, little bulbas, oversized bulbas (hung?), dangly right/left tesitical, big-n-floppy sheath (show'er), tight sheath with pinky (grow'er), etc etc, you get the point.)

 

 

 

 

I have a question. Are their plans to make this canine penis compatible with khajiit as well?

 

 

What in samhell made you want that? o_O I mean, it's doable but I don't think the locals at the bathhouse take to being cornfused too well :P

This is going to be a Lykaios exclusive BUT I could muster up something for the kittykats too.

 

The main reason I'm interested in that is because, despite that the lykiaos is VERY well developed, it lacks a lot that vanilla races have already been given, such as facial expressions, lots of head customization options, full armor and clothing compatibility with most existing mods and all vanilla content of the sort, and...shorter snouts...It's good for animations. 

 

By no means am I bashing the lykiaos race. It's just that I'd rather wait until it gives off an aura of completion to some fulfilling degree before I use it. But hey, that might come to be in the next update. I just know if my wait will finally be over yet.

Not quite sure if I'm following you properly. The Lykiaos have all that you have mentioned and will work with a handful of other mods since they are based upon the Khajiit model.

If its mods you want for vanilla races, I don't have an issue attempting modeling for it though :) you'd need to seek an animator though

Maybe I just haven't played as a lykaios in a while. I just remember seeing no options available for expressions while in the racemenu. Despite all this, I still definitely want to play as a lykaios. I'm mainly waiting for the canine addon. And I guess I could have been a little more clear about some aspects. In terms of head adjustments, I meant khajiits have more options, and some options are a bit more effectively applied. For example, the snout can be notably shortened or lengthened. The lykaios snout as of now however doesn't have much options in terms of that. There's also the fact that it can't be widened. Don't you agree that it would be cool to shape the snout to be more like that of, say, a beagle? Or any alternate canine shape for that matter. 

 

Anyways, I'm just saying it seems to still be in need of some new content in expressions and head shapes. It's got some, but that seems to only be a percentage of what it should have.

 

Regardless of whatever I get in the next update, I'm definitely gonna play it to have some fun with your addon. I'm highly looking forward to that!

The Lykiaos have the ability to do that. As for widening, I don't think so but again, since they are built upon the Khajiit model they should. I've had the race since 2 or 3 weeks after release and minus the clipping issue of certain Khajiit features, I've not been limited yet.

 

I don't know if the legacy version is still on nexus but I'd check into that if I were you.

 

As for the genitelia, it can and likely will be only assigned to Lykiaos; it is possible to lock it to a particular race. Speaking anatomically correct, feline reproductive anatomy is vastly different from canine inside and out.

For khajiit and argonian genitalia the user Leito made an addon for SOS which has Argonian, Khajiit and uncut human penises. Check them out, I also know there are other addons from user Carloss32 which add two more argonian types but I think they are too bright for my taste. If there was a less saturated texture...

You could maybe get paint.net and edit the textures with the Hue setting to get the saturation down, just a couple of clicks and slider handling.

Eh, realism doesn't bother me much in that case. I use a horse penis mod sometimes, for instance. Could you just leave it unlocked? I could blend the textures myself for personal use, maybe change just the khajiit textures around the crotch so the penis still works on lykaios.

 

Also, what about the legacy version? I use the latest version from the original post in case you're asking if I'm up to date.

Yeah, I've seen that. I'm not too crazy about it. Sure it's interesting, but I can't help but prefer the vectorplexus addon.

Due to the fact that the penis itself is not even visible at first, combined with the fact that the arousal of the penis is used to determine where it's pointing for certain sex scenes, do you have a solution to get around this issue when the penis needs to be pointed down-ish during a scene, or is this the very issue you've been dealing with the whole time?

Very disconcerting to be like "pretty brown--uh....why are his balls gray?"  That and the way it sort of....becomes the tail that wags the dog when he's unaroused.

True. Well it is the only canine addon for SOS so we should be happy with it until your addon is done :P

 

Edit: The problem the Carlos Canine addon has is the fur part. It's not matching with the bodies and It's getting longer when erected.

True. Well it is the only canine addon for SOS so we should be happy with it until your addon is done :P

 

Edit: The problem the Carlos Canine addon has is the fur part. It's not matching with the bodies and It's getting longer when erected.

That is likely becuase there is no overlap where the skin and fur meet so there is no allowance in variation since the texture is static (doesn't move/change).

A mate of mine used to do trickery like this in Second Life all the time with animated meshes and sculpties with dynamic textures that move and reconfigure to meet demands. Not sure if that's possible on a 'real' engine though.

 

Like I said before, the Carlos models are a good start where there were none at all and he was likely new to it at the time. I think he may have more skill up his sleeve now if he's still modeling :)

Hence why i didnt originally name the stand in i was using. I mean, its better by leaps and bounds than what i can do--I've recently started trying to make my own ARK map with the Unreal 4 editor, and realized how much mapping and modding has changed since I was making my own stuff in Warcraft 2/3--so kudos for understanding ANY of it.  I just...dont feel that it meshes very well with the character and race I'm playing.  As a stand in, its better than the human penis, considering the character, but it does not have quite what I'm looking for, ya know?  ...I stand by the waggling limp willy as disconcerting though, because I know real anatomy doesnt quite behave that way. :P
