Minor bug, with a new test character and latest version of MilkMod: early notification messages come up with just "your" (rest of the message missing), and these Papyrus log entries are probably relevant:

[11/11/2014 - 08:37:31PM] Error: Cannot access an element of a None array
stack:
    [MME_MilkQUEST (8B00E209)].milkquest.MilkCycleMSG() - "MilkQUEST.psc" Line 863
    [MME_MilkQUEST (8B00E209)].milkquest.MilkCycle() - "MilkQUEST.psc" Line 358
    [MME_MilkQUEST (8B00E209)].milkquest.ActorCheck() - "MilkQUEST.psc" Line 272
    [MME_MilkQUEST (8B00E209)].milkquest.GetCurrentHourOfDay() - "MilkQUEST.psc" Line 210
    [MME_MilkQUEST (8B00E209)].milkquest.OnUpdateGameTime() - "MilkQUEST.psc" Line 194

The problem seems to sort itself out, after a few game hours.  Don't know if it ever occurs again, since the test character hasn't gotten that far.

its fixed on game save/load, will add some more fixes for it

That mobile milker looks really nice! If only it could periodically collect milk while you're adventuring with your milk maid and you can just check their inventory for free milk.

Edit: I just found breastfeeding animations from this pack.

http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1488-non-sexlab-animation-pack/

Is there anyway to incorporate these into the mod? Maybe the PC can directly drink breastmilk from his maids instead of milking them into bottles when they're adventuring and the PC still gets the same benefits.

Or, how about using idle 1, 2 and 5 of this animations pack along with the mobile milker.

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24339-sexy-idle-animation-by-red31133dm/

So the stage workout as:

stage 1 Her boobs is full, nipple in pain, so she rub her boobs to hel milking(Idle 1)

stage 2 Milking in progress, keep rubbing boobs and start feeling horny (idle 2)

stage 3 Feeling really horny, her leg is shaking, ends up in a boogasium.... (idle 5)

while probably yes, i dont know how to do this

The problem I'm having currently is that whenever I tell a follower to use a machine she'll go over, get in, and start using it. But as soon as I leave the targeting function she jumps out of the machine. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong?

So I did some searching online and I guess this is a sort of common problem with followers snapping out of orders right after you tell them. I guess the "famous" version is followers not saying in bed leaving vampiers unable to feed on them. I couldn't find much useful info though. Is there a fix for this? Or a work around? Right now I can't milk both myself and my one follower at the same time. Makes the process rather time consuming and less fun.

wait before they fully sit and animations start?

never had that problem

Nah, I think I know what he's talking about.

With AFT I ask a follower to do something, get a target reticle and activate "Use Milk Pump". The enter the milk pump. I still have a target reticle. I point to that follower and get a "Talk to *whoever*" choice. I choose that. They say, "Still need me to do something?" but they STAY in the machine AND I exit the targeted instruction condition, which is the desired behavior.

SOME follower frameworks don't work that way. Once they are in the machine, anything you do to try to exit that targeted condition, breaks them out of whatever it is you asked them to do in the first place. If you have Puppet Master, try putting a puppet in the machine and leaving them there. I can't do it with Puppet Master, but any other follower I have will stay put.

I have some followers who don't use the vanilla follower system AND they aren't managed by AFT. (Mirai and I think Sophia) and they stay in the machine.

So I'm not sure what the exact cause is. I just know it's not your mod, it's a follower framework thing. Because that behavior... whichever one it is... is also evident when asking them to do something simple like sit on a bench. As soon as you break out of the targeted instruction condition, they go back to normal behavior.

What follower framework are you using?

I'm currently using EFF. Might be the problem as everyone else seems to be using AFT. I'll try switching over and see how that works.

By the way, just wonder, will the mod be less script heavy if the milk price is not dynamic, but instead, have different "preference" in different cities (Such as solitude prefer imperial milk and elf milk, the nord rebels capital prefer nord milk but hate elf milk). So less "script" check mean less likely to messed up with other mods....

After all, the main point of this mod is milking, not the milk......... ;)

I have a problem with this mod...I have "SkyrimUnbound" installed and want to start without items and magic.(rags only) The MilkMod adds a lot of Items,potions,money and magic to the PC.

When are we getting sevenbase milkcuirasses?

probably never, unless you make one, ask someone to make, or use bodyslide

it probably will, but im not going to spend hours on rewriting economy just for one script that runs every 8 hours , though i may add toggle that will disable economy if you want

the mod name clearly states milk mod economy

it doesn't add anything, check your info before you post

FYI, the newest version of my 'Devious Cidhna' mod includes optional support for this mod and a way to trigger the breast-feeding animations from 'Non-SexLab Animation Pack' via dialogue (though the dialogue is specific to Cidhna Mine).  This does not affect milk levels at all, because there doesn't seem to be any way for an outside mod to do that.

Some suggestions, to make integration with outside mods easier:

  • It would help if there were mod events sent when milk amounts reached the 'engorged' state and when they dropped back.  As things currently stand, an outside mod has to resort to polling to detect changes, or it has to have a hard dependency on MME so that it can test for the debuffs directly.
  • It would also be nice if an outside mod could trigger milking by sending a mod event that MME would respond to, so that playing a breast-feeding animation could also result in a decrease in milk amount.  That would also require some ability to separate the milk-amount changes from the existing MME animations (they seem to be tightly intertwined in the current version).

These aren't crucial, since I was able to do some minor integration without them, but they would've made it easier.  Thanks for resurrecting this mod.

Didn't play Skyrim a few days, then yesterday i noticed you already included the configurable milk produktion in the MCM. Thank you very much for being so quick, i tuned it down to 0,1 milk per hour, perfect for my preferences :)

Thank you again for this amazing mod. I'v got a issue ever since several version ago. The actor's breasts will become very pointly and the nipples will become extremley protrude when the breasts get larger. I always consider this might be a problem caused by my own custom, untill the other mod, soulgem-oven, comes up with a solution to this problem by changing the 'Breasts Scale' Value when the breasts growing in its lastest version. So would you please, sorry if affending you, add the similar feature in future version? That will be a great help

well this all is nice, but i started skyrim moding in july 2014 with close to 0 skyrim moding knowledge, so i dont know how to implement all this.

 Since i moved everything from globals to scripts, i can try to put all values in storageutil, but im not sure how safe and/or useful it is

Posted

StorageUtil would be safe enough, but would still require polling to notice changes in milk amount.  Polling means more load on Papyrus (not necessarily very much load), which well-behaved mods try to minimize.  StorageUtil values are great for passing values (e.g. current milk amount) between different mods, but not for passing notifications.  Mod events are simple to use, and built right into SKSE.

To send a mod event (doesn't matter if anyone is registered to listen for it or not):

SendModEvent( "MilkDrunk" )

To listen for a mod event:

RegisterForModEvent( "MilkDrunk", "OnMilkDrinker" )

Event OnMilkDrinker(string eventName, string strArg, float numArg, Form sender)
   ;;Do something to lower the amount of milk, adjust debuffs, whatever...
EndEvent

The 'RegisterForModEvent' needs to be redone on game load (typically, in an 'OnPlayerGameLoad' event attached to a script on the player or a reference alias pointing at the player character).

so instead of calling function addengorgeddebuff (lvl), i send  SendModEvent( "addengorgeddebuff", lvl ) that will call function?

The event name (just an arbitrary string) is separate from the event handler to be called (the 2nd string argument to RegisterModEvent).  There can be multiple event handlers triggered by a single event - one mod sends the event, and any other mod that registered for it will run their handlers.  The sender does not know, or care, who is listening for the event.

I wouldn't recommend using mod events in place of function calls within your own mod; that would be less convenient by far.  Probably slower too.  These are for sharing info with other mods (without the need for a tight dependency between them).

how about this one, should update after polling, and after milking done

StorageUtil.SetFloatValue(MILKmaid,"MME.MilkCount",MilkCnt)

SendModEvent( "MME_MilkCycleComplete" )

Posted

That should work, for notifications from MME to other mods.

okay, did some changes and added events, seems to work for me

or.... should it be

StorageUtil.SetFloatValue(MILKmaid,"MME_MilkMaid.MilkCount",MilkCnt)

instead of

StorageUtil.SetFloatValue(MILKmaid,"MME.MilkMaid.MilkCount",MilkCnt)

?

It is just an arbitrary string, as far as I know.  Obviously, you don't want to use some generic name like "count", that would be asking for trouble.  But I don't have any strong preference as to naming convention beyond that.

I haven't tested the sending an event to MME when playing a breast-feeding animation yet.

Status messages interrupt milking count.

1,2,3,4 milk count

becomes

1,(status),2,(status),(Status),(status),3,4

So if the poor player is horny and in pain anyway, milking takes a very long time.

If status messages delay the count, such that a message must play before a count is given,

how about skipping over numbers?

1(status)(status)(status),4
