Sagebrush61 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 NPC's are equipping Strapons and wearing them before sex. In Raquel's case, we have never had sex. When I came to visit her she had equipped the one I gave her 3 days previously. I checked her inventory in the console and didn't see any strapons listed. I never saved the game when I was using the test ESM you posted previously, so all those strapons I bought don't exist. Here is an SCR log showing my load order, if you see any mod which is a problem, let me know. Since I'm starting a new game it should be completely clean of any stray strapons, but it will probably be a long time before I'm close enough to anyone to know for certain. LadyM Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 I could change the drink package to drink, but the anim will not line up with what they're actually drinking. The way it is now, sometimes they will drink, sometimes eat. I figured why add an extra wrong anim package when that's what we have already. I have no problems changing it though if you like? No T, it's fine the way it is, I just wanted you to know in case someone brought it up. I've been moving right along with both of my games, one with Niner and one with Scrambler. I've been loving all the interactions we have now! I've gone from the Mojave and am now in DC, heading for Billy Creel! I'll see how Niner's jealousy works with Billy in the picture!

If they equip them, they got the strapon from another mod. The strapon you give them through gifts in this mod never reaches their inventory. In short, if they have a strapon in inventory, it's not this mod (or it's from a previous gift before the change). EDIT: Try the new one. If this one doesn't work I don't know what to tell you. EDITx2: Tweaked some stat gains. Added caps to stacking actions. Edited August 26, 2015 by t3589
Sagebrush61 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Just did a quick test, gave Raquel a newly purchased "The Penetrator" from the Sexout Store. She did not equip it, and when I checked Inv it did not show up in the list of items. Still no sex, for a Promiscuous Partier she doesn't seem all that into my PC. Checked Sammie, and gave her a newly purchased Penetrator, she already had a strapon equipped, I removeitem it and the Penetrator did not equip and did not appear in Inv list. Then I realized that the strapons I had given out previously to Raquel and Sammie were ones I bought a long time ago and stored in a Dresser in the Lucky 38. They were "created" quite some time ago, on an older version of Intimacy, before you made the recent changes to strapons. So far looks promising. Just to be sure I'm understanding the mechanics correctly: Where do I obtain the strapon for your mod for use by My PC and to give to NPCs? Only strapon I've ever seen in game came from Isebelle Duke the merchant in Leopard Nightie who sells toys in the Sexout Store (I assume they come from Spectrums Toy Pack which you are supposed to install with SCR). If I'm not getting toys from the right place that could be my problem right there. Sorry to have been such a bother. I'll leave you in peace and go play now.

That's where I get all my test strapons as well. The promiscuity level stat currently does nothing and is simply a placeholder for expansion. Now just tell me they equip one of the given strapons during the right sex act and we're good to go. No bother. Comes with the territory.
antediluvian Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Minor bug: Changing the SOI hotkey doesn't clear the SetIsControl flag from the previous hotkey. The result is permanent voiding of any hotkey you've used for SOI. For instance, try setting your hotkey to T, then to G, and then to T again -- T will be refused because it is set as a control. (Likewise, just trying to reassign the same hotkey will fail -- for instance, if your hotkey is T and then you try to set it to T again.) The fix is just inserting let iHotkey := SOIntimacy.iHotKey SetIsControl iHotKey 0 in the OnAdd block. Even if iHotKey is at the default of 0, this will merely clear the hotkey status of Esc, which no one should be binding as a hotkey anyway.

KRSG Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I apologize, for any and all frustrations I may have caused you. That was never my intention. I saw this mod and looked it as a way to invigorate my interest in a game that had become somewhat stale. And it did, stupendously. I do applaud you for this effort. I had become massively addicted to the game, because of this. Had really enjoyed all that this brought with it, and become quite obsessed and admittedly whiny with it. I was focusing on the smaller picture instead of taking into account the larger one you were painting. Again, I apologize. This is one of the best mods/ideas I've ever seen, and this is just the framework. I can't stress that enough. I do wish you well and I'll stop complaining, I promise you.

I can dig that you're abrasive. Where I'm from, we say Good Morning with a similar vibe. So that doesn't bug me at all. I can understand that you're frustrated, been there myself more than once. But the point of my post wasn't to jump your shit. The point was to save you some frustration. When I said not to mind the numbers so much, I really meant it. It will drive you batshit insane if you try to figure it out right now. I don't mind if you complain either really. But the part that is frustrating you, is a piece of the puzzle that you have more control over than I do atm. Parts are missing and I can't just fill them all in willly nilly. The tracking relies on these pieces. For example: There's a planned feature that I want to add called long distance comms. Right now, the absent script is written in a way to account for 'calling and checking in'. So you may get absent negatives, because the part that stops those negatives isn't in yet (long distance comms). This is why I just can't keep up with you guys and your play throughs yet. When I run into something during a play test I have to stop everything, go fix or write in what needs done, then start all over again. So no need to apologize, I'm not upset. Just think of it as a partially framed house. We're still framing in additions. Some rooms have walls already, others don't. There's just no need to get frustrated when the wind blows through the living room now and again. We WILL get there. EDIT: And another thing. At some point all the modder variables will be posted. At that point, you won't even need to open your game to know what does what, you'll be able to read it on the first post.

I thought I'd never play FNV again I was SO burned out on it the first time I played through it over and over everyday for over a year! And I hadn't touched it for several years until I discovered the sexout mods for FNV. So I started to play the sexout mods then found this mod and flipped! I play gay males usually (I've had to change my play style to test this mod but it's been worth it) and I saw this mod as a way to have more depth to my gay males. When things settle down on my end (surgery, moving and a house sale) I'm going to promote the shit out of this mod over at my forum! I can't tell enough people about the Intimacy mod! As an avid Sims player, I now have the best of both worlds in my game, relationships AND guns!
t3589 Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 I thought the best of both worlds was booze and guns? Or was it booze, guns, and firework safety?
LadyM Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I thought the best of both worlds was booze and guns? Or was it booze, guns, and firework safety? LOLOL Down here in Florida, it's booze, guns, Harley's and fireworks. No safety- they're legal!
MRM18870 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I had the never ending dancing problem again, but I think I may have an idea what the problem is. You wrote before dancing should stop when the music ends. But music don't end when you are in kings school or at the tops in the entry hall, it plays all the time. That where exactly the places where the problem occured.

Have you turned on your pipboy radio at least once since loading the mod (before dancing)?
Xper000 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I am getting the never ending dancing as well. The only place I have danced is in Goodsprings in the Prospector saloon, two separate playthroughs, the first time works, with either Trudy or Sunni, but the second dance is Trudy both times, and she takes one step and stops dancing, like another package interfered. When that happens its infinite dance time.:}

t3589 Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) Managed to recreate it. Working on it. EDIT: Should be fixed now. Good catch. Thanks guys. Edited August 29, 2015 by t3589
Xper000 Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Thanks. To answer your questions though, I haven't customised the music, though I do have a mod in there somewhere that is supposed to fix a bug in Radio New Vegas, and no I didn't turn on the pip boy radio at all, was I supposed to? My bad if I was. I should add I am having a blast with this mod, even if I have no clue what the hell I am doing, and that's after reading the whole thread to bool.:}
t3589 Posted August 30, 2015 Author Posted August 30, 2015 New one up. The initial framing of public morals has been added. Might be a little flaky until I expand on it. It's also set for full on morals in order to test all the functions. The public morals mod settings will be put back in when I add the stats that go with it. Right now it's very basic (alignment based only with minimal dialog placeholders). Also includes stalker rescue function. To test just get the PC fully nude (not just topless), or have sex in front of some good aligned NPCs. The only part I've tested so far is public nudity. Public sex, and stalker rescue are completely untested.
MRM18870 Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 The dancing problem is unfortunaly not solved yet for me with the new version:-(. Now it plays either no animation, and the activity ends a few seconds later, or I get a free floating camera ( and no animation ) and get stuck in that stage, only way out is again the taskmanager. btw no costum music is used. Edit: I could continue the game from there on after reloading, but the hotkey stoped working with this saved game then. btw is exotc/striptease dancing already in again? But at least I had the first time a popup about favorite food for quite some time :-) ( weeks I guess ) - but only once when I loaded the game.
LadyM Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 But at least I had the first time a popup about favorite food for quite some time :-) ( weeks I guess ) - but only once when I loaded the game. I can't help you with the dancing but I can with the food. The "Reminders" on your SOI Control, holds the information for gifts they've given you. If you know you were given your NPC's favorite food, it will be stored in reminders. You won't see it but all the information you've been given during your activities will then pop up for you after you click on reminders. Which brings me to a question for T. When I give them a gift from their list, I still get Thanks [Charity]. Any way to get a kiss or something when we give them a gift they've requested?
MRM18870 Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Thanks, the reminder of the SOI Control work for me, maybe i got it wrong before.
t3589 Posted August 30, 2015 Author Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) Well the last one was broken because I forgot something. Should be fixed now, sorry. @MRM: I'll look into it. @Lady: A charity thanks means there is no sentiment attached to the item you've given them. Did you give them multiple items? Also, I'm sure we can expand on it so they get physical for certain gifts. EDIT: Here's how hints works: - PC selects [Ask Personal] - NPC responds [Hint:<Type of Hint>] - PC then initiates reminders while the NPC is present. - Reminders should pop up and show the exact item. Note that the ingestibles aren't finished yet. So things like favorite food, drink, chems, booze, while accounted for, currently have no effects applied to them. These items should only be given during certain activities. Eat, Drink, Party. Which, if they are the one providing during an activity, you won't be able to give them. However, when you are providing for the activity and give these favorites, all you will receive is a bonus to the gains of the activity (which is yet to be put in). Also, you can turn on the registry debug and see what their favorite items are in the console if you want to skip actually getting the hints for testing. EDITx2: Another thing I should mention is this. When you get a hint for a gift, and that gift is an equipable item, you have two choices. You can a. Give them the gift to alter their stats, or b. Wear the item for bonuses that relate to the same category. So for example: NPC hints that Ball Cap makes them happy. You can give them the ball cap to alter their Temper attribute, or wear it in their presence to alleviate aggravation. Edited August 30, 2015 by t3589
t3589 Posted August 31, 2015 Author Posted August 31, 2015 (edited) Hmm found a bug of sorts. It seems that after sex the player is automatically getdetected = 1, regardless of being getdetected = 0 before and after in the same location. - Easy Pete and PC go to the saloon john. - Trudy does not detect the player. - PC and Easy Pete have sex. - Instantly upon KD, Trudy detects the player. - Once KD is over, Trudy goes back to not detecting again. No idea why. EDIT: OK, I think I fixed it with a work around. @MRM: The table/lap dance won't be put in until I start working out establishment locations. ie., Wrangler/Tops Edited August 31, 2015 by t3589
