well im posting this topic back on the up page.

 

If i have a subjestion for potential character developement

 

How parasitism is contracted

1.The various bugs of skyrim (chaurus firespiders and others) may infect the character with the sexual parasite trought sexual intercourse generaly rape or trought damage.

2. Another female character who hitself has the parasite force it upon the victim character

3. A potion may have been trafiqued with a parasitic egg ready to hatch upon consomption (it would be realy easy to place fake potion with same stat as the real ones around the world many treasure loot possibility) wich cause the player to catch the parasite disease upon drinking.

4. swimming in water with chaurus nest nearby (falmer caves) may yield unexpected results

How to cure

1. Curing early parasitism is as easy as curing vampirism or lycantropy either cast cure disease consume a cure disease potion or ingrediant or pray to a shrine.

2. Hatched parasites becomes increasingly hard to cure due to progressive infestation forcing the player to do a quest so to prevent further growth.

3. Late parasitism has become impossible to cure the host and the parasite now having entered perfect symbiosis, to kill the parasite will also kill the host.

Stages of parasitism

1. The player has catched an unknown disease and is given 3 day to cure it (save for the disease notice nothing anormal yet)

2. The parasite has hatched inside the character and is starting to infest the host body, a tentacle like outshot is visible from the front or back hole (aka like in oblivion cursed armor tentacle tail item) and is periodicaly arrousing the character in the purpose of forcing intercourse and or sexual release by any possible means so to feed itself on love juice and grow further.

3. The parasite has started to grow around the character body, now highly visible it constantly pleasure the host tripling the arousal rate and driving the host insane with lust, the character may now rape low health victims at will for nutrient and if pushed to far by its lust may even rape npc at random witheout asking the player itself or self surrender to the first potential sexual mate around. The character may get impreniated with the parasite egg and start egg laying if the sexual thirst is well satisfied.

4. At this point the parasite link with the host mind and body have become so absolute they have become one behing, obsessed with creating more of its kind the character will now actively seek other female character in order to infect them with the parasite and eventaly turn them into slaves bound to the brood mothers will (this stage of the parasite has become so advanced it now cover prety much any possible body parts with tentacle and or even have insectlike parts such as wings and or stuff of the like.

Some of you may be interested to hear that the next version of SD+ will include two Devious parasites - a Chaurus worm (vaginal) and a Spider eggs cluster (anal).

Both infections have a chance to happen during sex with the respective creature.

 

They act as Devious Plugs and cannot be lockpicked. 

Instead, the victim has to use pickpocket skills to remove them manually while her arousal is low. 

Of course.. any failed attempt raises arousal :)

 

They are internal only at the moment (no mesh visible on the outside) and do not prevent intercourse.

 

Not exactly to the level of complexity described in this thread but a step in that direction at least.

The new parasites can be triggered by mod events as well.

By the way, EC can also be triggered by mod event, so these could be also called from a larger parasite framework.

Don't delete your code too quickly.

 

A framework for parasites would still be very much needed, especially  as a universal way to trigger parasites from other mods.

A parasite evolving into anything from rapist-in-a-backpack to living armor would have been an amazing addition... Too bad a big mod like SD+ can kill another mod by making some side-feature.

 

If this does get dropped, I guess I'll eventually do it myself, as I am making progress in understanding skyrim scriptwork and making meshes week after week. Maybe, just maybe.. if the gods are in my favor and the community drops this idea.. you guys could expect a crude mock-up of a code and poorly-textured meshes by the end of the year. No guarantees.

Like, I already alter existing code to my needs, adjust existing meshes and recolor textures, but I don't yet feel confident enough to take this on myself.

By all means, do not drop this mod because of SD+.

 

I don't have any plan to make this an elaborate feature in SD+. 

 

I added these parasites because they will play a role in a future 'Queen of the Chaurus' quest I am planning and they fit well with the Spriggan Host quest that has been in SD for a very long time.

 

I made these parasites accessible to other mods precisely so that a parasite framework would be able to easily add them to a (hopefully) growing list of parasites.

 

A standalone parasite framework is really needed here... if only for people who care about this feature and do not care about the rest of what SD includes.

speaking of wich do we have a picture of those new parasite feature yet?

 

No picture yet - they are internal.

But I am looking for ways to make them 'stick' out a little.

Eventually, I want to add effects such as fluids, bit that won't be anytime soon.

ok so basicaly these are not visible things (aka like in cursed armor) but just stated disease.

It would be so easy to just edit the cursed armor tentacle frontpiece but i guess permission is required or something

Right now, yes.. they act like a disease and behave like Devious Plugs.

 

They feed on arousal, so it is possible to remove them manually (with the character's fingers) only when arousal is low (less than 10).

Even then, there is a check against Pickpocket (these things are slippery).

And as I said earlier, failed attempts raise arousal.. so you will have to lower your arousal first is you fail a few times.

 

You can keep yourself safe by wearing a chastity belt by the way...

 

And for those who are into that sort of thing, you can find them in certain vendors and insert them yourself or in your followers... for fun :)

I really like a lot of the ideas here; If I wasn't already so strapped for time I'd say I'd love to help out on the coding/modding side of things (can't mesh to save my life, unfortunately).

 

Alas, I'm already working on an entire game of my own, among other commitments, so all I can do at this juncture is offer my enthusiastic support for everyone already working on making this a reality. I -loved- the cursed armor mod for oblivion, and living symbiote armor in general.

 

If I may, however, I'd offer some advice: I'd focus on making one really good living suit rather than a whole host of half-hearted parasites. I'd also try to keep your development focused on one stage at a time, and get your mechanics planned out well in advance. I know a lot of people have made a lot of recommendations for mechanics already, but in my opinion many of them verged on the unnecessarily complicated.

 

What I would recommend is doing something like Brehanin's better vampires mod, where you have a few stages of growth for the parasite, and an additional stat for how well-fed it currently is.What I would do is have it give its buffs when well fed, and have it torment the player when it isn't well fed (obviously, it feeds when the player has sex) by revoking its benefits, increasing arousal (likely with DD-esque animations for squirming and moaning), and preventing restful sleep. I think the idea of different 'class' parasites sounds just a wee bit silly in my opinion, as 'class' is a very meta-level game concept for a biological organism to be evolving around. Sure, maybe a wizard did it, but, eh. Anyways, I would focus on protective buffs that benefit any class: some inscreased health/magicka/stamina regeneration, a bit of armor bonus, and some magic resistance when it's well fed (I would lean towards it giving more magical than physical defenses, personally.)

 

Then simply have the benefits and penalties for how fed it is scale up the more advanced its growth stage is, as well as a few extras here or there like growing a futa dick to infect other girls and whatnot. Those sorts of extras can be added on after the main system is in place though, keep the priorities straight.

 

Anyways, as I've said, I'm wishing everyone involved in this the best of luck, and this has certainly given me some ideas to consider for my own game as well~ (It'll definitely be easier to work something like this in when I can just put it straight into the core mechanics instead of modding it in, lol)

Any clues as to where/which vendors those are? Likewise, is the mod looking for anything specific in order to force a parasite on you?

 

There's a 20% chance to get a parasite on sex with a Chaurus or a Spider.

 

The parasites are added to vendors lists for apothecaries - they should appear at random in their inventory for sale.

Hmm, thanks for the clues skyrimll. Starting to wonder if I screwed it up somehow, I can't seem to get either parasite to work, nor find them on the vendors. Could you tell me the names or IDs of those item so I can do a 'help' console search and see if it even exists? If they're not there, then it's almost guaranteed that I screwed up somewhere.

I like a lot the ideas of both mods. And to be honest the very concept of having my pc getting attacked by spiders and get her butt used as egg sack is freaking awesome. But I hear noone saying anything about handicaps, and it just feels so plastic...  I mean, I lost a battle against 3 spiders on Death alternative and they let me walk out of it with some arousal plug...

I didn't drop my project. I'm working on it and I won't drop my project unless someone make a MOD that have exactly same functionality with mine.
and skyrimll, I love your MODs, can't wait to see your next work!
 
Anyway back to the topic; some announcement here.
 
First, It is REALLY late but happy new year everyone!
Seconds, there is development plan have some changes.
As I took a month but I didn't made it. Make all the features from past it's too big. (Mostly mesh. script is easier than that.)
 
So I'll separate the framework and its resources.
Framework will store infected parasites, trigger with sexlab framework, trigger impregnation parasites with beeing female such thing, etc. So This will make you or other developers can start make their mods with the Parasite Framework.
Than I'll make a mod called "Parasitism in Skyrim"
With this I can make the features like parasites, Infection route (Infect from water, sex with infectee etc.) mostly things that I wanted under the framework.
 
And I'm really sorry about this delay again.
