And to bring things back on topic... Some of you folks scare me, being able to ID these obscure dungeons that I've never even been to, lol.

Probably spent a huge amount of time playing the game . I'm kind of average at 2477 hours, but a few days ago I discovered something new!

(hint - they are corundum veins)

This looks like the ones SORT OF near Lakeside Manor.

Heh, I was right. Can anyone tell I was desperately scrounging for ore the first time I built Lakeview Manor? LOL

That'll help people find it. Probably the biggest ore deposit of corundum in Skyrim, at least that I've found

That one was pure luck really, I'm big into the crafting side of the game and one of the few people that actually likes Hearthfire. Because of that, I'm constantly scrounging for harvesting nodes. I tore apart the area around Lakeview Manor looking for ore, lol.

Yes, that is correct. I got there too early for glass armors.

I got my glass armor in this one though.

I believe Volskygge, is the only Nord ruin with live bandits in it. I thought that showing my bandit master would be a subliminal clue.

it would have, but i looked more at the cage and the shelf, and Volskygge was the only one that stood out with having both.
