I think biggest problem is you need buy game+pay every month for playing.And quality is not so good.For example you can buy GW2 who is better game and pay only once and play forever or TSW.

Referring to the OP, the reception of ESO is one of few things I'm NOT disappointed with when it comes to the community.

Oh hell yes, I'll agree that the monthly pay is complete BS defiantly. I know the bugs can ruin the game entirely, but with Craglorn coming up along with other additions.

 

I have also glimpsed at what they're working on for future content like; the ability to steal and get arrested, making talking better than just the NPC's mouth jutting up and down, Dark Brotherhood and thief's guild quests, horse racing, Imperial city dungeon, dying and tinting armor and even crafting your own ability. There's much more than that!

 

But is there any people on here that have actually played this, I'm sure the most of you's habe.

Doesn't sound all that exciting tbh. Shouldn't they first address the core problems instead of adding new stuff? Moreover, what matters is the execution, hence at this point these are just features on paper.

That particular video from Angry Joe is spot on and shows exactly whats wrong with ESO compare to Solo Elder Scrolls serie.

in oblivion there were already other developers (other people) and already the game was worse. skyrim others developers, but why?

because the developers have left of Morrowind "Bethesda," she did not agree with the development of Bethesda!
this is why morrowind was the best elder scrolls game of all time, there will be "not a" better.

 

why must modder oblivion and skyrim make their mods, only playable? why so many patches? because both games are bug "contaminated". mods are to make the game as beautiful, but it is not to "rescue"!

I played it a bit during the beta, and it didn't compelled to me. The fight was far to static and lot of the stuff that makes an elder scroll game an elder scroll game is missing and i don't see how it can be realized in an mmo.

Friendly forum my ass, why's everyone being concordant about me and my post that I'm advertising. It's not being fair to one who criticizes about a game he likes and why he likes it.

We all like our own games being bad, good, or just being a monthly rip off. Trying to ask about a game yourself and to read what others think of it on a adult modding website to hear their OPINION would make you sound like a advertiser, no.

 

The first time someone posted if I was on a agenda or if I was advertising was fair enough, kinda sounded like I did, but no. It continued to get more silly as it went on and with me repeating myself.

Thanks for being understandable, I've been with this community for a few months and enjoy all the support and the help I get from crashes and other problems with other ES games.

 

I didn't realize that this was going around with Zenimax, this is my first MMO I've played so far and enjoyed it and when I saw all the negativity going around the web it confused me, so I asked you guys if any of you's have played it and give me your ideas and opinions.

Yeah i can immagine his regret, i mean im pretty sure there is lots of nice thing's in the game too, but this such an obvious cash grab.

I got nothing against you liking Eso, 117, but it doesnt make sense to me forking so much money for a mediocre game, when there is tons of f2p game's arround and some of them put this supposed AAA MMO to shame quality/content-wise.

 

I mean the whole franchise is so popular only thanks to the fans, modders, who kept it alive for years and this the thanks they get...they want to milk them dry.

 

Elder Scrolls will never see their full potential in the hands of Bethesda/Zenimax, the steady decline in quality of the franchise is a visible indicator of that and its truly a shame to see it.

Though maybe back then some were even excited until they realized it would be a "typical" MMO and not a Sandbox-MMO, as some may have actually loved to see. They also realized an MMO would mean quite a delay until the next "real" Elder Scrolls Game comes out ...

 

Though, thinking about it, a lot might only want to see another Single TES soon so they can bitch and moan about that one too, with it being dumbed down and pissing on the lore etc ... its actually always the same and not exclusive to the Elderscrolls. After all fans always know much better than the creators and rights-holders what the real lore is and how to make good games etc...and yeah, surely I will visit the next Game of Thrones panel and tell GRR Martin how to finish the damn books logically, because fans are just like that ....

 

Anyway, I am not free of this behaviour as well, of course. For example I hate Mass Effect with passion and everyone that dares to somehow defend part 2 and 3 and the ending or even the silly "extended cut" will feel my righteous wrath!! No quarter given in that case!...This discussion here about ESO however, it just makes me shrug and roll my eyes...you don't like it, don't play it. You don't like the lore established here, sorry for you, but ES was always a bit ... lets say ... ambigous hin its lore anyway. A lot of different truths, and interpretations possible on that, which is actually what I kinda liked about this universe...

Yeah I kinda see it now. I've been looking at all kinds of MMOs since and would actually like to know what to get or to look out for in future MMOs, anyone have any pointers or ideas?

No doubt that this game might fail, it's not a bad game from my point of view, it's fun and I enjoyed it as my first MMO experience and it will get better as days go by with updates and new stuff coming along. Looking at other MMOs however seem hard to compare. All of them seem to have their own pros and cons.

I will try a wider range of other games other than MMOs... Sims 4 look good
