Tregarin Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 1, 2 and 3 are based on the post count, by the looks of things... contributor gives you 4, dunno about 5... 6 means you are a VIP member, one who has made a donation to the upkeep of the site. (and I think it over-rides all except Admin stars. :edit: 5 is Moderator... 7 is Admin.

[/quote'] I haven't given any donations, and I still got VIP status, my only contribution is doing some dialogue for bromm's SexoutSex mod, but I got VIP status long before that. I can only assume that it is something you are given by an moderator/admin for helping people out or something. I know atleast in my case that is has nothing to do with donations or contributing with the modding. Since we have eliminated the possibilities that it has to do with contribution, donation and postcount (as it has been pointed out, a lot of people with large postcounts do not have the VIP status) the only possibility I see is that it is decided by someone, presumably an admin or a moderator, who is a VIP or not.

Either way I haven't the slightest idea what the stars mean beyond the 100 post count deal as I have never done a damn thing in the way of modding or such and have not "yet" made a donation. Oh, and I don't "hate" ponies but.......don't really care for them either

One's post count will add more stars, and status (being a moderator etc) or other things (possibly post count) will factor in into one's name color ("titles" are easily chsngeable so I won't bother with them too much, but I'll add a basic formst for that). Here's a basic format: Stars: 0 posts: 0 stars / no title 1-49 posts: 1 star / default title: newbie or new member 50-199 posts: 2 stars / default title: member 200-399 posts: 3 stars / default title: experienced member (lame but idk) 400-749 posts: 4 stars / default title: Veteran member 750- 1499: 5 stars / default title: Enthusiast 1500-2999 6 stars / default title: Obsessed member (lool) 3k and up: 7 stars / defaulf title: Are you kidding me? Name/Title colors: Default member: default color Donaters: blue modders/contributers (to loverslab): green modders from other communities (that haven't directly contributed to mods created at loverslab: black or yellow or something I don't know. moderators: Purple is da bomb! administrator: H0t P1/\/k bA13Eh!!!!1 Yeah work dat pink ashal!! Members (with colored names) that have left/retired: some other color That's it so far! Remember, this list is going to be changed and added upon if people make suggestions. Until I actually know what a v.i.p is then Won't add it. Please leave comments and such.

It did seem that once I hit it I got a star from it but that was a post or two ago and I have quite forgotten. Not that I ever paid attention to stars, thanks or post counts anyway. I guess that is why I always enjoy Dreamer102's sig quote from Fight Club

So then the "title" and the number of stars are totally unrelated to eachother... VIP simply means reaching a certain postcoant, while stars are added in some other way.
