This mod doesn't seem to work, at all for me. Like, Mhoram doesn't spawn at all, I can't do anything but the vanilla things with the trainers, and even when i try to spawn Mhoram in, he constantly tries to talk to me, but there are no mod options for chat. Can anyone help?

He has taken unauthorized sabbaticals for a few others. Keep checking back - he'll probably show up.

 

In the meantime, maybe post your load order and log and I'll see if they're helpful.

are there limits on how much you can sleep your way up? because i think i only got skill for it once, and every attemt after that gained me no skill... reading in the threads here someone suggesting once a day.. have that been implemented?

 

Also, i dont know why, but the option "i want to learn more spells" dialogue option appeared on alot more npc's then intended... dont know if i messed something up to make that happen on my game.

There isn't supposed to be a limit. The script adds a number based on your current skill level but you won't see signs that the skill increased until it hits a threshold, just as the game doesn't inform you your one-handed skill has increased every time you swing a sword.

 

Or something is screwy and the game won't let the script fire more than once. Keep trying and see if it does anything after a few more tries.

 

Others have reported the dialogue showing up in other npc's, but it doesn't happen to everyone. Please post your load order so I can narrow down what other mods might somehow be interfering.

 

One person had success be uninstalling this mod, doing a clean save, and then Re-installing version 3.3. Try putting it lower in your load order while you're at it so it will get the last say in which conflicing scripts get to run.

it seems reinstalling it helped with the "I need more spells" dialogue option, i tried moving it up and down the loadorder, and it didn't matter, the reinstall was the trigger for this fix... as for the other matter, im still not getting destructio skill from feralda.. (maybe im not supposed to) but the others seems to work in order.. though the librarian raised my alchemy super slow, like i think i got 5% level progression at level 10. but if those things are intended, then i guess my mod is in working order now..

Thanks for the info. And, I use BOSS to sort the load order. I have no idea which one is better though. Should I start using LOOT instead?

LOOT is BOSS' successor. It doesn't require all that waiting around for each mod to be added to its list; it just checks which dependancies everything has and sorts them accordingly. The good thing is that you won't have unrecognized mods sitting on the bottom of your load order when they should be higher up.

Maybe I'm rushing forward... using sex to climb the college social ladder would be fine... but what about having to take part in some form of devious experiments (like collecting seeds of various magical specimen)?

Heh... I was just thinking something along the lines of special new ingredients. You know, something like Bear Penis, or Hagraven Nipple, or Giant's Gonads, Boner Meal, Jizzbay Grapes...

Funny, the college has teachers for every school of magic except Alchemy. It isn't a magic skill, it's a stealth skill in this game, but it's still related... a new teacher who wants you to collect some very special ingredients would be interesting. After all, Tolfdir sends you out after dragon heartscale, so why not someone else sending you out after dragon semen?

Issue ; Urag during 'Hitting the Books' quest. when im 1st told to meet Urag the orc librarian there's no dialogue to ask about the orb.

do I have to do his quest 1st now or is this a bug? this is the only mod I have that messes w/ the college. thx

You won't be able to do that quest until you have reached the next level in your college classes. This is to ensure that you are at least an expert in something before you can become archmage.

 

Edit: Urag should have a dialogue option where you mention you're supposed to talk to him and he tells you that you aren't strong enough yet.

This is strange, because I have gotten that dialog before in a different playthrough. That was one or two versions ago, though, and I've changed my load order somewhat since then too.

I mean.. is this already an opportunity to use sex as way to get through? Or I really have to pay 1000 gold?

And yes, the idea is to make the price pretty steep (but reasonably balanced) at each semester. The mod assumes the player is starting at a low level.

If I was a better modder I'd make a work as a stripper mod.

Okay, started a new game. Three times. For testing.

First time, put CDW at bottom of load order. Everything seems to be working normally.

Second time, put CDW at TOP of load order, (relatively speaking - below ESMs, sexlab, etc) just to try it out... stuff is screwy like the problems I've been having.

Third time, put CDW back at bottom of load order. Stuff is screwy again.

 

As much as it pains me to say it, I think I've got to start disabling some of my more script-intensive mods, just to ensure (relatively) stable gameplay. 

Sniff... goodbye, you dozen WIP/beta mods... I'll miss you.
