FoxFingers, if you read this I hope that if you return and post a new version you will post a complete file that includes all of the source scripts again. With 3.0.3 I noticed you removed the source scripts to save space which makes it difficult to modify the mod. Fortunately there is very little difference from 3.0.2 so I'm using that as a workaround. Thanks for all of the hard work!

 

PS I ran into an obscure issue with Illia's dialogue. The vanilla Darklight Tower quest and Illia herself have all sorts of bugs that USLEEP finally got around to fixing (including the fact that in the original game, she's not a unique NPC yet they made her a follower which causes all sorts of long term issues)... one of the quest's vanilla bugs is that it can keep restarting itself even after you complete. Anyway, so I along with many others had the Darklight quest marked as finished but on stage 5 instead of stage 50 (because I finished the quest before USLEEP fixed it).

 

Cue the problem with Illia's dialogue. After you've completed the vanilla quest, you can tell her you solved her problem. This first dialogue is conditioned to show when the Darklight Tower quest is marked as completed or if Silvia is dead- so far so good. However the next two dialogues are conditioned to show when the Darklight Tower quest is stage 40 or greater (stage 40 is when the quest completes) - oops! In my game the dialogue just abruptly stopped there. That's when I opened the CK and found out what the problem was... and also found out that all the scripts were gone haha. Anyway, this minor issue is easily solved by conditioning those following dialogue lines the same as the initial ones, checking to see if the quest is completed (or if Silvia is dead) rather than at stage 40.

Tried to start the "angel in steel quest" and just talk to lydia "so your are my new housecarl", go to adrianne and nothing happens, the quest dont start

 

Why?

 

As the quest description in your journal says, she needs to be outside working (or otherwise idling outside Warmaidens during 8 to 19), not outside or wandering around whiterun. Same goes for when you come back.

 

 

I have the same problem: the quest don't start, and nothing happen when click on "So you are my ney housecarl"

 

 

This is a different bug entirely, and probably caused by either Adrianne or Annekke being dead or replaced in such a way that their formIDs changed and the game/mod thinks they are dead. go make sure they are still present, and with proper formids (see the quest documentation that has their formIDs and the codes to resurrect them properly if they are dead).

Found the problem : arianene killed and being an ash pile :(

 

Vampire attack, she got killed by a vampire then raised as it's zombie then turned to ash when duration went out or she or the vampire got killed.

 

Use the console commands in the quest stage document to resurrect her, make sure not to use placeatme console commands as that spawns a clone that's not valid for this mod.

I don't know if my issue is related to AA or not. On completion of Carlottas(?) and Milas quest, they both are standing behind the market stall 24/7 whatever the weather. Carlotta still speaks and is responsive to everything but will not leave the square, nor Mila. Any thoughts? It isn't a huge problem but if I could zap them back to routine would be nice.

Your weather remarks makes me wonder if maybe you are using either Immersive Citizens or Wet & Cold which would cause them to go home? Because while they should sandbox around the marked (Milla more) by default they don't move much around, Immersive Citizens do make them move a lot. I have no idea how that mod works, and the author refuses to tell other modders or explain how to make patches, so I don't know if the changes Amorous makes to them after the quest could break them that way. The issue is being caused my mod interraction, if you did not have a mod that was causing them to have new routines then you would not be seeing anything amiss now.

I am using Immersive citizens. I tried enable/disable and resetAI to no effect. Hmmmmmm.

I use a mod called Dawnguard Sentries to prevent these kinds of issues.

Adrienne, Taarie and all other potential lovers or people important in quests are essential with Amorous installed until their quest is done, then you can tell them to become permanently protected/essential via dialogue once they are lovers. Hence this can only happen if you are installing midway through a play, or if you are using a really outdated version of the mod.

 

Additionally the mod Timing is Everything (by Kryptopyr, she of Complete Crafting Overhaul Redone, Weapon and Armor Fixes Redone, Clothing and Clutter Fixes, Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul, etc) allow you to set the interval between both vampire and dragon attacks, or even turn them off entirely.

is there a cooldown period for repeated encounters? i noticed that after 3 or 4 "i need your touch" encounters in succession that dialogue option disappears. u can wait an hour and it returns.

 

never noticed it before... is it a new thing? didn't test it with multiple followers yet but its happening to Carlotta.

AA expects Farkas to go with the player to Dustman's Cairn during Proving Honor, but ESF can send Aela (nor sure if Vilkas) with you.

The problem is, after turning into a werewolf and killing the Silver Hands, if your partner is not Farkas the game will crash (because I think AA try to resume Farkas quest at this point).

 

Again, I don't know if this is caused by AA or if I'm unlucky, but maybe it's worth to check this when you come back Fox.

It's probably not AA crashing you, unless you are doing Farkas quest and you brought Aela instead. Cutting Room Floor also makes Aela able to come with you to Dustmans Cairn (just say no to Farkas quest when he's led you to the dorm, then run back to Aela and get a quest from her, she'll then go to Dustman's Carin with you, the only bug there is that when you get to Ysgramor's Tomb Farkas will still complain about spiders from Dustman's Carin, despite never having been there...

 

Note however that when I bring Aela with me it's on games that I cancel Farkas and Vilkas quest due to playing (straight) male characters. If you have not done so, maybe it's AA doing it.. but I still doubt it.

It's probably not AA crashing you, unless you are doing Farkas quest and you brought Aela instead. Cutting Room Floor also makes Aela able to come with you to Dustmans Cairn (just say no to Farkas quest when he's led you to the dorm, then run back to Aela and get a quest from her, she'll then go to Dustman's Carin with you, the only bug there is that when you get to Ysgramor's Tomb Farkas will still complain about spiders from Dustman's Carin, despite never having been there...

Yeah, Farkas quest is running... Is there a console command to cancel his quest?

 

EDIT: nvm, quest stage 199... I'll try it later and see if the games still crashes.

I have the same problem, except I use AFT. Does your game crash as soon as the gate starts to open? Maybe this crash is not caused by follower mods.

Game still crashes even shuting Farkas quest down. I'm at a loss here.

 

@SolitariX99 Yes, the game crashes after she kills the Silver Hands and run to the side room to open the gate.

Pretty sure it cant be ESF I have been running both together for almost as long as both have been out.

Could be AFT if you made them a follower before  ESF was done ?

I know Serena will sometimes bug out with AFT if you make her a follower before you find the moth priest and finish that part of the quest.

I use EFF as my follower manager, and no, I did not force recruited Aela or anything...

I managed to get past the ctd by disabling Aela before I pulled the lever, then I used the killall command to kill the Silver Hands, then I enabled Aela again. She opened the gate then everything went the way it should.

I think this must be something related to her werewolf transformation or something and not AA.

When the game crashes for me I don't have Aela on my team, I have Farkas. The game freezes when he is supposed to transform back into a human. I tried some stuff at my end, disabling mods until eventually I potentially narrowed it down to the SOS mod. When I had this mod disabled the game would not crash at the Silverhand scene.  I'm still not sure if it is just SOS or if it is a conjunction with some other mod causing CTDs. I'm going to make a separate install later testing mods out...

ok i found the solution to my problem. I was using a mod called 'HDT invisibility fix" it has nothing to do with SOS. deactivate that mod if you have it

Are you using a replacer for Aela and if so does she have unique meshes and textures in the replacer? If so that is your problem. This used to be a problem with Bijin Aela up until v3.1 when it was fixed. If you are using Bijin please update it to at least 3.1 (3.1.1 has a new look for her, but you can download a standalone with her old appearance in the optional files).

ok i found the solution to my problem. I was using a mod called 'HDT invisibility fix" it has nothing to do with SOS. deactivate that mod if you have it

 

I had massive issues with the HDT Invisibility Fix if it's the one marked as a beta on Nexus. Ended up with a 3 GB papyrus log after about 2 hours of play.

 

If it was SOS I was going to say it is most likely a skeleton issue, and using the latest XPMSE skeleton might fix it.

Not sure where to ask this question and sorry if it's an easy answer but, what's Fox's Own Brew version? Does it fill in for the threesome scenes with SexLab that OSex doesn't support yet?
