[WIP] Skyrim Slavers Guild

These gags and collars you speak of would be modern ones or they would be cloth tied around the mouth and chains? Just wondering because I think it would be nicer if it was something that wouldnt break the immersion in Skyrim.

 

Yep. The initial plan is to go Skyrim low tech' date=' with rope, leather ... nothing that you wouldn't find on a farm in Skyrim, really. Gags will probably be of the kind used on Ulfric in the opening movie. Blindfolds are going to be cloth around the eyes or execution hoods.

 

As the questline progresses, the guild are going to get more sophisticated and we might see ball gags introduced. Probably using leather balls initially, or maybe ivory (need a mammoth or horker tusk to craft them). Eventually we'll see Dwemer equipment some of which may be quite modern in function (if not in style) and some restraints that use higher smithing skills, like say glass collars. So we can get a bit of visual interest in as things progress.

 

But no - I don't want cheap red plastic ball gags and pink rabbit vibrators appearing out of nowhere either :)

 

I support this (as you probably would have guessed :)).

On the one hand, the thread is still a monolithic monster to search and read, and a forum would be nice. On the other ... it smacks of hubris to set up a forum for a mod that hasn't had it's first WIP release yet. It seems like tempting fate.

 

So: I'm in two minds about the idea. Thoughts, people?

 

 

While I'm at it, Aeonflux88 also suggested I put out a call for people interested in helping out with the mod. I know a lot of you have expressed an interest in helping, there may well be more who'd like to but don't want to put themselves forward. So: consider the invitation open.

 

There's a new section on the wiki front page called The Team. If you're not already listed, get a wiki logon and add your, name skills, interest ... and if you're doing something and it's not listed in the section underneath ("Progress Report") find a sentence or two to add to that as well :)

Couldn't we just use the wiki's forum? That way everything would be in the same spot. We'd just have to link to it and remind everyone to sign their posts for clarity. Or is there anything more we'd need?

Well if you look at what kind of weirdass looking stuff you can craft there should be no problems with good looking collars and ballgags.

 

I think the original idea was to have a rag like the one on Ulfric at the beginning of the game. I personally wouldn't have a problem with a modern looking one since there are ROBOTS in the game.

I think what DocClox was intending to do was start with something like that and then after learning more about the CK build more gags and collars (and have those wind up as items that the slaver guild can make after it has grown some).

Hey Doc, nexus had a Lydia masterbation scene up this morning, Lydia is dead in my game so I didnt dl it but it did have a lot of downloads with it... havent seen it since and the only reason I mention this is because of what your doing with this wonderful lil mod... did anybody c it and check it out?

Btw AMAZING work you are doing on this. So much info and I am having a wonderful time reading it all.

 

If you need any help I would be more than happy to help, I'm not sure what I can do though. I know some programming (basic C++ and SOME Java), as well as 3D design in 3D stuido (some Maya, same thing anyways) and a little blender. I also am in school for game design so I come up with ideas and stuff just for fun AND my homework haha so if you ever need any concepts or help with anything like that let me know!

 

(new to the site so this is my first post, I thought I would spend it on your thread because I have been watching it like a hawk haha ^_^.)

Last I checked nobody has, and the general consensus seems to be that there will never be a solution, all hope is lost, and we might as well close down the Skyrim section of loverslab.

I don't see why not' date=' to be honest. Wiki forums aren't so well organised as dedicated packages, but I've seen them work well. I mean Wikipedia hosts all its admin discussions like that, so it can't be too bad.

I don't mind them being a bit sophisticated, so long as they still look like something a dwarf might have hammered out of brass using molten lava. If it looks like it just rolled off an injection moulding production line, I think it'll look out of place.

Seen it, d/led it, haven't tried it yet. Apparently it replaces the normal sleep animation.

Alas, we're not running animations as yet. The plan was to use fade-to-black scenes until prideslayer's BlueSky framework was ready. That now seems to be in limbo, so we may be using fade-to-black for a little longer than I'd hoped. That said, and as I've said elsewhere today, we've not yet had the kit for a week. So let's not panic just yet :)

 

Hell, if worst comes to worst and it takes a year to get the animation working, it could take us that long to get all these quests implemented :)

Thank you! We can always use an extra pair of hands. Especially if you know your way around 3D modelling software. In fact I could do with a leather blackjack model, and maybe a leather collar, leash, and hand and ankle cuffs if you're feeling keen. Oh, and sign up on the wiki and say what you're working on - just to help me keep track of who's doing what :)

Like I say, let's not panic just yet. There's a few things we can try still. And if worst comes to worst, we can always travel back in time 200 years and call it the Cyrodiil Slavers' Guild :)

wow so far looks interesting but what about:

 

"For a female PC, the challenge will be to face a male opponent and notget raped."

 

I'd say that it should more interesting to make the pc either fight a dude or a female (random or choose) and avoid getting raped by either, if you fail the pc gets either sold to an arena (not so dad ending, pc may gain freedom over the fights or breakout) or the bad ending, turning into the sexslave of Helgen..? (dunno maybe some one could "rescue" the pc after few days?)

Not keen on the enslaved player option? That's going to crop up fairly frequently. I suppose I could have a config option so girls get the same treatment as guys (which is to say they die if they lose a fight), although the idea of seeing your char enslaved seems to be one of the more popular ones so far.

Wait so I've been hearing that a sex mod is not possible for Skyrim. What are the facts behind this rumor?

 

At the moment, we can't create new idle animation routines in the game. That means that for every sex animation we code into the game, we need to overwrite something like the mining animation, or the beer drinking loop, or the one to use the alchemy lab. That sort of thing. This is apparently one of the Havok things that Bethseda hat to cut out of the CK on account of intellectual property.

 

So, this gives us a limit on the number of animations we can use, and it also has odd side effects, like miners trying to fellate iron ore seams. And (I believe) it may cause crashes as well, since some of these animations have state data embedded in them.

 

Finally, because of this, prideslayer has suspended work on the BlueSky project which I was planning to use as our sex engine.

 

That's the bad news.

 

The good news is that there are a few ways to attack the problem. philipcollin and labrat are digging into the Havok files trying to see if we can decode the format used. If they can, then we may be able to define our own idles directly.

 

If that doesn't pan out, there's a good chance we can find a way to hot-swap the animation files, either renaming them on the fly or reloading them in memory which is apparently what OBSE did to enable Oblivion animations way back when. The SKSE team are still hooking up all the papyrus functions at the moment, though, so it's probably a bit early to pester them about new functions.

 

It might also be possible to create new races in the CK that shadow existing ones, but have their idle anims replaced by sex ones. Then we could change the race of an actor immediately prior to sex, and change it back afterward. It's not entirely straight forward since the new race needs to be a beast race (at least on paper) which means that making it look like your PC might be challenging. But it's another possible way forward.

 

In the mean time, I'm going to carry on working on SSG using fade-to-black as a temporary placeholder for the sex scenes.

 

This isn't the end of the world. It just means it's going to take a little longer before we can add in new sex animations as freely as we might wish. This doesn't just affect us sex maniacs, everyone who has a new weapon or fighting style or whatever, they all get hit by this. There's going to be some interest in finding a solution.

Splendid! The animations were limited or non-existent back in Morrowind days, yet some mods were thoroughly depraved regardless.

 

Maybe Skyrim will be worth buying afterall. Without this and similar projects, I surely wouldn't bother.

i for one always thought rape should be apart of the game when your imprisoned for your crimes the guards to me would be the rapist also i haven't a clue why beth didnt make it where you can capture people and turn them into slaves.

Depicting sex or nudity in a computer game would earn them the "adults only" rating, which means Skyrim would be banned from being sold almost anywhere in the United States, since the vast majority of retailers have a policy of not selling anything with that rating. On top of that, Microsoft and Sony both have a policy of not licensing AO rated games on their consoles, so Skyrim couldn't even be published for Xbox or PS3 at all.

 

So no, it would be catastrophic for their sales.

Here's a question: what do people think about which body to use for SSG.

 

I better explain that: I don't want to force anyone to use a particular body. On the other hand, it would be best if all the mod's assets (bondage, slave outfits, etc) were modeled for the same body type. I'm tending toward CBBE or maybe UPN.

 

Of course, 99% of anything a slave wears in this mod is likely to be skin, so it's not that big an issue. Still, thought I'd throw it out there.

 

Also: Here's a WIP for people to look at. Nothing major now, so don't get your expectations up too high. It's just the dungeon level for the first quest. There isn't even a quest attached, but go to Valtheim Towers, fight your way over the bridge and you'll find a door.

 

There are a few problems: the navmesh needs fixing properly, there are areas that need a lot more clutter and the load doors are the wrong sort and open all the way onto solid rock (or yawning void)

 

Still, it's enough to wander around and see what I've been up to.

I'd say UNP. I think CBBE is popular because it's always one step ahead technically, but there's something about the body that just doesn't make it look natural to me.

 

Of course I hope it'll be possible to have plenty of variety of bodies in my Skyrim, but I don't suppose it would be too difficult to adapt simple restraints to other bodies once they've been created for one.
