I’m not here to reignite the flame war from the Sky 1st post. If he hadn’t shamelessly tagged me and demanded that I make a mod for him, I wouldn’t have bothered bringing this up again.

 

All you need to know is that this parasite has done the following:

1. Constantly orders others to make whatever he wants, “I want this,” “we need this”, just like his latest comment.

2. Uploaded other people works without asking the original creators, only deleting them when pressured, and had the audacity to call that “respecting them.”

3. Helped drive away one of the community’s best mod author, which made several mods unavailable and even forced the site owner to step in. Even though that author later returned, the damage was already done.

4. Harassed people by wielding a rule that the site owner had already confirmed didn’t apply, causing the Sky 1st post to be temporarily locked by the admin, and he kept doing it even after the post unlocked.

5. Continued pestering people through inbox messages.

 

Most of the original comments have already been deleted by the admin, but you can still find the site owner’s statement on pages 48–49 of the Sky 1st post.

 

To members who don’t know the backstory, my “lightning strike” comment might have seemed like an overreaction. But if you had gone through what I did, and then saw this bastard casually tagging me to demand a mod, you’d understand my response was actually restrained. Since he asked me for something, I gave him the only thing I could offer:🖕🏻

 

Just like I said, I’m not here to reignite that flame war. He shamelessly tagged me, I responded angrily, people asked what happened, I explained the situation, that’s it.

 

As for whatever this parasite replies with, it’ll probably just be the same arguments that have already been torn apart countless times, so I really have nothing more to say. I won’t be responding to this matter any further.

Am i tripping or something, even though I've followed the instructions and combined the table, the items didn't show up in the shop.  I've tried modding Sky 1st before and it's worked out great. I've even tried the already compiled tables from the ZIP files but return nothing. Can anybody look into this for me please, much obliged (sorry for my broken English)

unfortunately I have exactly the same issue as you  not sure why because as you said I had no issues modding sky 1st, and am exactly in your place as your screenshot ... and even moved back the .tbl (not .original) back to table_en in root folder (maybe try that if you didn't do it).

Sky 2nd has added several new background NPCs, I also received report that Falcom has modified some textures, causing issues with existing NPC UDW mod models. I need time to convert the new NPCs and fix the old ones.

Instructions:

 

I have not found a way to actually make DLC that can be unlocked.  Instead, all the costumes can be purchased from the following shops:

• Le Loche: Phillys' Kitchen
• Rolent: Rinon's General Goods
• Bose: Paul Elk
• Ruan: O'Neil Duty-Free Shop
• Zeiss: Bell Station
• Grancel: Dept. Store - Accessory Shop

NOTE: Starting with Daybreak, Falcom no longer has a modular DLC system, so without making your own custom tables, you can only use one mod with custom tables at a time!  Please see here how to combine the tables of 2 or more DLCs using the .kurodlc.json file included in this mod.  It is an intimidating process at first, but will become very easy once you do it once or twice.

I finally managed to make it work .... in my case i forgot to move multilang_resource_list.json to the main folder AND forgot to rename to .BACKUP image.pac .... hope you manage to find what's wrong for your case 😕

Okay so I managed to make the custom tables work by deleting the original table_en.pac file in the pac folder, but in the meantime, somehow the names, items and some shit are in Japanese now. (the dialogue still in English tho) dang it

Things are worse than I imagined. Falcom has redrawn some textures and updated certain models. The new textures and models look more detailed compared to Sky 1st, which is actually good, but it also means that some models from the Sky 1st Background NPC UDW mod can’t be applied directly to Sky 2nd and need to be remade. Creating the Sky 2nd Background NPC UDW mod will take longer than I expected.

- All models were modified in bulk by a program, so there may be many unknown issues. It's still in testing, and I can't guarantee it will be error-free.
- If you run into serious problems, feel free to document and report them. I've also included a backup of the original models, so you can restore them at any time.
- Even if problems come up, I may not be able to fix them quickly — I'm not good at modeling.
- If there are any updates, I'll edit this post directly, so it will always be the latest version.

About the models
The most valuable part of this mod is the base models, and all of them come from other authors. My own attempts at hand-editing nude models turned out badly, so in the end I ported other people's models instead. Thanks again to the original mod authors.

A few thoughts
Unlike the mods authors carefully craft, this one is program-generated, and the quality is definitely below theirs. I hesitated for a long time about even making something this rough, worrying it might discourage high-quality mod creators.
But from what I've seen over the past while, some of the excellent authors from 1st still haven't shown up, while other excellent authors are still contributing. I suspect we lost a batch of valuable creators over some unpleasant events around 1st. So I'm putting this unfinished thing out anyway, hoping it can draw out better work.

And thanks as well to everyone who makes mods for any game.

This is really impressive work! Crafting base bodies is definitely the hardest part, but if scripts can handle the rest like this, it lowers the barrier so much that outfit modders like me might become obsolete soon haha. I genuinely welcome approaches like this since it opens up modding to so many more people. Thanks for sharing!
