Thanks for your encouragement! But you'll never become obsolete.
I kept hesitating about releasing this kind of mod because I was worried it might discourage dedicated creators.
After trying it myself, I understand that whether it's outfit mods or nude/body mods, truly good work always depends on the author's design, taste, and repeated polishing.
Batch program replacement is just a rough test—convenient, but no substitute for careful creation.
I remember that since 1st, you've made many popular mods, and I really admire how you can modify models freely as you like.
Looking forward to your next work.

As for making a similar mod for 1st: unfortunately, not right now.
The 2nd mod is still in testing, and I can already expect quite a few potential issues.Testing, updating, and maintaining it will likely take a lot of my time, so I can't really handle two large-scale mods at the same time.
I'd rather focus on getting this one stable first. Maybe I can look at 1st later, but I can't promise anything for now.

A few thoughts
Unlike the mods authors carefully craft, this one is program-generated, and the quality is definitely below theirs. I hesitated for a long time about even making something this rough, worrying it might discourage high-quality mod creators.
But from what I've seen over the past while, some of the excellent authors from 1st still haven't shown up, while other excellent authors are still contributing. I suspect we lost a batch of valuable creators over some unpleasant events around 1st. So I'm putting this unfinished thing out anyway, hoping it can draw out better work.

And thanks as well to everyone who makes mods for any game.

@Lain_Alicei dont really agree with your thinking. in my opinion it should not discourage other creator. but it should be an motivation for them. by seeing you can make a good mod, it should be make them motivated like example. let say im a creator and i saw your mod and it make me say> hey i wanna make a mod that is better than his. if his mod is that good, my mod will be better than his. 

so its should not make other creator discourage.

Instructions:

 

I have not found a way to actually make DLC that can be unlocked.  Instead, all the costumes can be purchased from the following shops:

• Le Loche: Phillys' Kitchen
• Rolent: Rinon's General Goods
• Bose: Paul Elk
• Ruan: O'Neil Duty-Free Shop
• Zeiss: Bell Station
• Grancel: Dept. Store - Accessory Shop

NOTE: Starting with Daybreak, Falcom no longer has a modular DLC system, so without making your own custom tables, you can only use one mod with custom tables at a time!  Please see here how to combine the tables of 2 or more DLCs using the .kurodlc.json file included in this mod.  It is an intimidating process at first, but will become very easy once you do it once or twice.

Does this just affect background NPCs? Just asking since I have some mods for other background characters, for example Kilika, that I have personally modified to my own liking that I would not want this to overwrite.

Yes, this affects almost all female NPCs, named or not, so Kilika is very likely included as well.
If you want to keep your own modified Kilika, install this mod first, then install your mod after it so your files overwrite mine.
Whichever mod overwrites or loads last will be the one that wins. I'd still recommend backing up your Kilika files first just in case.

Hey everyone! This is my first time posting here. I'm really glad to see people making so many awesome mods for this game, and as a player, I really appreciate all the work you guys put into them.

This is just a personal request, but I'd absolutely love it if someone could make a mod that adds the “Visible Nipples” and “Camel toe” effects to all the female characters.😍

I've been looking around for quite a while but haven't been able to find anything like that. Personally, I think those two effects would make the female characters look a lot more appealing.

So I figured I'd just put this request out there and hope someone might be interested in making it someday. Thanks, everyone!🤗

- Prologue: fully tested, all female NPCs reviewed. 2 NPCs are missing head accessories — looks a bit odd but not too bad, so I'm leaving them for now.
- Chapter 1: currently testing. Some NPCs have broken/incomplete heads, which is fairly serious, and I'm working on fixing it.
- Later chapters: not tested yet.

Is there a cheat sheet for character IDs? For the purposes of photo mode there's probably a few characters I'd be interested in using this on but just shotgunning the whole thing isn't really what I'd want.

The more serious problems have been fixed (probably), and testing is still ongoing.
For each chapter, I need to interact with every female NPC to check how it looks. Since I can't tell where an NPC might be hiding, I have to run through the whole map — so detailed testing will be a bit slow.
If you don't care much about the details, this version should already give you a mostly normal experience.

I haven't seen a standalone mod that replaces her default hair across all outfits with the 1st game's Klaudia style yet. 
However, if you're just looking to play with long hair, the custom outfit mod on AyakaMods includes a long hair variant.

I don't think there's a simple mod like that just shortening the vanilla skirt at the moment. 
There is a mod here on LoversLab that makes her underwear visible at all times, though.
