I'm not planning on making any sex animations since that's what most community packs already do and I'd like this to just be an addon for those. My only goals for now are new models for mobs and have them change dynamically, but I still don't know if it's possible to override the default models. If you're looking for animations outside of sex scenes, I really like the resource-pack "Fresh Animations: Player Edition" which also works with the "Just Expressions" resource-pack for animated faces.

Not sure about Detailed animations, but for Fresh Animations this should make Better Combat compatible with Fresh Animations, at least I haven't experienced any issues using it so far together.

hi, i love the mod so far! i was having troubles with the player head thing and couldnt figure out why so i just decided to make my own destroyed skins, but now im having (different) troubles with that it seems as well. at first i thought that only part of the destroyed skin texture was working but on closer inspection it seems that it is working, but for large parts of the skin it is just using my base skin as well or something? i have large parts where the clothing should be completely destroyed, however i just see a slightly darker color of the clothing in my normal skin, and i cant figure out how to fix the problem.

here is what the skin looks like in destroyed stage 3 in game, and ill attach files with my normal skin and what should be destroyed skin stage 3

 

there might be something im doing wrong, or it may just be a limitation of the mod, but im hoping for some advice!

you provide the fully destroyed skin (nude), not each stage seperately. please look at the example provided. the masks are used to 'get rid of' your original skin and show the nude skin

make sure you installed the default animation correctly. reference the "Install Instructions" on the modpage

ok i see, i used the jenny skin earlier in the thread as a template of what to do because i couldnt find any examples of how else to do it easily. i got rid of the masks in the folder and only kept the nude version i made, and it works well now. thank you!
