Confirm that DA 7.0.1 works with Simple Slavery, as well as with SD+ 3.5 and Maria prostitution. I started a new game and I am now level 10 (which mean many games hour because I have slow down exp mod), I was killed numerous time and I have not yet experienced a CTD after death.

 

Only minor problem is that I seem to have two instance of Simple Slavery working : I am sent to SS waiting cage, I enter the auction, blackout screen then reenter the auction, then auction proceed, bought by someone, and sometimes auction reopen. This time winning bidder wins the lots (I mean wins my incredibely pretty and sexy character ;) )

Emm, is there DA plugin for Maria prostitution?
not sure. Check its description.

 

Edit: I don't think there is because as I recall, slavery for MP is now an "ask your follower to enslave you" thing

  • step 1: copy contents of base folder to skyrim\data folder
  • step 2: choose a texture style- 10 Tex 512 = vanilla graphics, 10 Tex Org = original Unoptimized textures 1024, 10 Tex Opt = optimized 1024
  • step 3: copy the contents of the chosen textures to skyrim\data folder

Well, it doesn't seem to be consistent. A way I managed to reproduce it was to reload the autosave, but that might just be because the issue was already present before the save occurred. What seems to happen is that something is firing multiple `ChoosingSlavery()` (or the script containing that function). When that happens, I usually get several fade to black, the auction dialogue are stacked (several bidding wars) and the end are the different outcomes coming the one after the other.

 

As I said, if I save while in the cage and before speaking to the jailer (which triggers the quest), I am usually safe. I have no idea why it is so. If it is possible to check if there are multiple instances of the script running, or what launch the script, that would help tremendously.

 

So far my suspect, and just by rule of thumb, would be creature framework (because it's always that one). Or events that still have to occurs, sometimes I loot several containers and cursed loot fire multiple time despite the cooldown. i.e. there are still things running in the background and somehow that makes simpleslavery to trigger multiple time. Now, this is nothing more than a wild guess, but my uneducated mind can't think of another reason.

 

 

having nearly reproduced this myself i have a better idea of what's going on now. only difference for me is that i didn't actually get to the auction, i just saw the opening credits in the fade to black screen "you wake up on a cold floor". player ended up in sanguines dreamworld with a bounty hunter standing there, another time the simple slavery fade screen played and the player was teleported to the dreamworld, but sd also assigned a new owner to the player  and had to teleport the player back from the dreamworld to the new owner.

 

found the solution to the issue on the prison overhaul config - in 1 of the options it lists possible issues with sd:

The green icon at left top corner has an option to add mods from your hard drive. You can browse to location where you stored the mod archive. Select the archive to be loaded to NMM. Set it active, as you would do with any mod downloaded from Nexus.

 

It is possible that logo is no longer where it were. I moved to Mod Organizer long time ago and do not have NMM installed. So far no one has told me that base UI layout would have changed since I last use NMM.

Hello.

In light of these issues possibly being caused by more than one mod or by a combination of mods, and taking into consideration that a lot of players would like to be able to run those mods simultaneously(I know I do, it only makes sense), I will copy and paste these issues in each mod's respective discussion. I can only hope it might kindle creative discussion, especially among those mods' authors.

These issues persist even with a clean new game and minimal mods(Devious stuff, Defeat, DA ETC) installed, even through Save cleaning. Needless to say I do run FNIS properly and my load order seems fine. And I do have everything these mods require, installed correctly.

 

I feel they are more than nuisances I can mentally block out as they affect game play and need to be looked into before any of those mods' authors goes ahead and releases a new version.

 

So bear with me a little. Here;

 

- Camera randomly refuses to zoom in or our or go into 1st person(This is with Immersive 1st person installed). Requires a load to fix. I am not sure which mod is causing this but I've seen this in Defeat's scenes, in SD+ scenes, practically any mods that trigger sex scenes can cause this. It could be IFP causing it too, though it never does this when I install it on its own.

 

- On Simple Slavery, once I awake in front of my new master after I'm sold, I can't move at all. To turn the character I can face in the direction I want, go into combat® and then out of combat and I'll be facing in that direction. That is the most I can do in terms of movement. No sneak, no jump. Nothing. However after talking with SS's author I was advised to inform SkyrimLL, so here it is.

 

- There seems to be no way around the random walking animation loop that I get locked into sometimes, after being enslaved(Character will wear the collar and rags but after that I get into said loop), seems to be in the direction my character is facing after getting rag dolled, before the screen goes black.

 

- On this clean new game, wolves decided they will not attack me any more. More animals or monsters may be affected but I am not sure, as said it's a new game and I haven't gone far nor do I intend to. Just went as far as the 1st small town to test things.

 

- I am not sure which mod is triggering it, but every single animal I approach(Friendly or not) brings up the "Submit/Resist" dialogue if it can. I've tried disabling DEnslavement, Captures, ETC but this persists. I've even tried to lower enslavement chances across the MCM. In general changes in the MCM don't seem to affect this. By far the most game breaking issue so far, as it is unavoidable; The problem of not having an option to literally resist an NPC enslaving a player in the first place(Remember there is no combat to justify the contrary) is quite prominent. DeviousEnslave suggests that we keep weapons and armour equipped - Tried that, no difference. I even tried approaching NPCs that behave thus while I'm in combat mode. Also no change. Out of curiosity I tried holding block down, no difference either. This was not happening before at all, not sure what triggered it with this new game and clean Save.

 

- I've noticed there is no limit to enslavement attempts, Simple Slavery sales ETC. So in short a lot of the mods don't take into account what each is doing, causing multiple instances of the same event, which as you understand causes various problems like double dialogues and so on. The same is true with devices, some mods that support them decide to install multiple instances of the same device causing problems(Sometimes I will get a dialogue telling me I can't have more than 1 of X device, so at least one of the mods is actually working fine). This becomes a huge issue when more than 2 actors are involved in a scene(And that's not rare really).

 

- Sometimes the actors involved in a sex scene will be far from each other, yet the animation will start, resulting in those actors humping air X meters away from each other, a problem that can't be fixed by relocating the actors or attempting to align them(For instance through Defeat's macro). This is not caused by Defeat alone, it happens during sex scenes triggered by all mods I have installed and which do trigger sex.

 

Do note that I've literally left all options(Except things I needed to click like registering SexLabs animations in ZaZ animations' MCM) as they are, all default. Haven't touched a thing.

the camera issue might be an issue with the default settings in devious devices integration, i've gotten to the point i need to spend 5 or 10 minutes every new game just for configuring dd...

something to do with immersive first person views i've always hated that just leave my camera be, i don't use any first person

that's hard to say if its an issue with death alternative ragdoll effects or an sd issue

that's the latest update of sd - creatures can enslave the player now (well most can)

issues with devious devices need to first be placed into a barrel to reset the items, but that only fixes it after the occurence - in most cases after doing this you would need to find out what worn items have 2 of the same type worn such as 2 collars or  2 armbinders - in order to cooperate with each other ddi wrote a series of keywords for those items that some mods have forgotten to add those keywords and break the system when other mods try to add an item to a slot that's already locked

so you need to find out what item that is o find out what mod it came from and have that modder fix it

unfortunately even with zaz marked as a requirement for ddi, the 2 mods still contain 1 setting that's on by default and will conflict known as the "sex animation filter"

The rag doll thing, is something I've read about from others too. No idea what's causing it, until it's properly fixed I'm using a different Bleed Out effect and have generally disabled any kind of forced rag doll.

 

DA calm effect? No idea what that is, however since this is a new clean game I don't see how that could have kicked in. Please offer some more insight about this effect.

 

Also yes I know creatures can enslave the player, that's actually a major reason why the mod appealed to me. The problem is in fact the chance of it happening, which the relative slider doesn't seem to affect. Other NPCs act normally. Wolves or dogs will literally spam me though, no matter what.

 

About the devices... That's as far as I go. I don't have enough time during my free time to nit pick so much. I guess I'll have to deal with it until it gets sorted. I made it known that it's an issue, I pleaded for the authors to try and pin point it, it's off my hands from here.

if you won't fix it for yourself, nobody else can. the game wasn't built to withstand all the mods you've just put into it with the request they be made to work together. the authors have done what they can, but some of them make mistakes - there's no way in hell that the devious devices writers can keep track of all the secondary mods that have sprung up and babysit their keywords and scripting.

 

"Sex animation filter"? Well first, where is it located... And second, what do I do about it?

Talking to random NPCs is triggering a demand for sex event despite wearing clothes, having no restraints, not being a slave, and not being vulnerable in any other way.  Attempting to resist leaves me free to move around for several seconds, before suddenly teleporting to a sex scene regardless of fleeing/fighting.  This isn't intended behavior, is it?

And I'm at the end of my vocabulary, unable to explain any further except saying that the problem I'm having is creatures ignoring settings in Dialogues and telling me to "Submit or Resist" without any other option ever, or any way to prevent it. Every single dog or wolf for example. That's a new game with no enslavements started.

 

Well then, I'll have to deal with that then I guess. Perhaps I'll do that in the future. I'm a little bit against mods that are too much "DIY" and right now I think the other issues are more integral to actually being able to play.

 

Yeah I knew about the choice, already using the DD ones, disabled Zaz's. I asked just to make sure I understood what you were saying :)

not intended behavior here, at simple slavery, there is just an auction to sell the player

if you'd like help you'll need to give a better description of the mod you're having problems with

i think the only reason slavery might be required here is the settings on the sd screen require that the mod doesn't start until after the player has escaped:

in maria eden you can choose your potential slaver, but what about sanguine debauchery? whos going to enslave you?

there are six custom npc's that are chosen from randomly when you go to sd.

So, I got another one of those buggy simple slavery episode where I had several scenario running at the same time. However it was expected since I had some corrupt behavior before hand from the SD+ mod/devious device integration. Basically, I managed to get into an attack animation then a mod forced me back in the armbinder. That was followed by a constant "who allowed you to fight, slave" thingy from SD+. And from there, tons of weirdness. That was from a new game from the CCAS starts (anise I believe). I tried to ask a random bandit for help, which triggered both anise and the bandit to turn hostile to me and I eventually blacked out to awake in simple slavery.

 

Now, the issue I had with SS was that the SD+ questline or behavior wasn't properly closed. The jailer tried to fuck me instead of sending me to the block, I believe this is due to Deviously helpless although I can't be sure (my logs were turned off). That's a sign that my game is unclean: a mod is still running that forces behavior on random NPC. Restarting and reloading in the SS cell wouldn't fix it. So I assume I shouldn't ever have been sent to simple slavery in the first place but sent back the Anise as she was the previous owner and my attempt to escape failed. I guess this is a SD+/DA issue.

 

I feel that there should be some kind of sanitization between the blackout scene and being processed by simple slavery. To shut down every thing, remove all DD devices and if it's not possible, then try to find out why (maybe the player is in the middle of a cursed loot quest and shouldn't be sold into slavery).

 

I'll keep an eye out for more "vanilla" and standard ways to get enslaved.

even that wouldn't make sense unless nmm is super screwy, there's no way you can uncheck those 2 esm files they don't show up on the list

if they're not active the player has a bad install

i would think cused loot has its own safeguards against that outcome probability or she wouldn't have made it possible to send the player to ss, death alternative is already listed as the conflict to cursed loot

I have ran into a problem I believe, I am using this wonderful mod with a few others. I used this mod with Imerslave and I chose through live another life that my female character was auctioned off through simple slavery and everything was doing good. Character got bought and I was taken to middle of no where with buildings close bye and my characters master he was their beside me and the problem is my character she kept standing up, getting on her knees with no input from me or from my characters master. Since my character keeps standing kneeling I can't do anything because it seems she would much rather stand and kneel and freeze to death thanks to frostfall. I finally managed to talk to my females master was told to go to the store till bound, even still after that I can't move and my character goes back to kneeling standing every few seconds which is getting annoying. So I was wondering if there is a way to fix that or do I have to completely start over?

I have ran into a problem I believe, I am using this wonderful mod with a few others. I used this mod with Imerslave and I chose through live another life that my female character was auctioned off through simple slavery and everything was doing good. Character got bought and I was taken to middle of no where with buildings close bye and my characters master he was their beside me and the problem is my character she kept standing up, getting on her knees with no input from me or from my characters master. Since my character keeps standing kneeling I can't do anything because it seems she would much rather stand and kneel and freeze to death thanks to frostfall. I finally managed to talk to my females master was told to go to the store till bound, even still after that I can't move and my character goes back to kneeling standing every few seconds which is getting annoying. So I was wondering if there is a way to fix that or do I have to completely start over?

that's an issue with sd's kneeling animation still buggy in some situations or with some owners - there's a toggle for it in the latest version of sd:

the trip to the store is an optional dialog thru cursed loot that your owner in sd might not allow you to make that trip until you're trusted enough

The animation bug is something from the devious mods (DDi or something, don't know which) and not linked to simple slavery. And if simple slavery need to remove every devious item before the auction but fails to do so, it may mean that an update is needed to account to the new features introduced in the recent updates. Some equipment cannot be removed, or have a timer, or whatever and I'm curious as to how Simple slavery can handle them.
