Whenever the mod displays a message (screenshot), it forces my character out of whatever they're doing - it unequips my weapons or spells and resets the character to an idle state. This is problematic because it can happen in the middle of combat. This should allow you to use weapons, but you also have a special spell called “Spell Sword.”
Batjerk Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Hi. I enjoy this mod. The only problem I have is that I use unpaused menus and when Karita asks for food, the gift menu opens, but then she just thanks me for checking and walks away. I'm assuming that this is where one would obtain the bound bow. I suppose the immediate workaround is to set the gift menu to pause as would be default game behavior.... I'm not looking for anyone to fix anything as there are probably more important things to address such as adding more quests or whatever. I think it would be cool if the priestesses in the Temple in Markarth would recognize the player as having taken the vow instead of calling the player shameless or slut or whatever. Slight modification to the Heart of Dibella quest where Senna might recognize the player as having taken the vow and suggest speaking to Hamel and being asked to get the sybil instead of it being a pennanace. Just a suggestion. Again, great mod so far. I have compared light armor rating to the Dibella armor rating at level 30 and at 90+ skill, the protection in the equipment menu is just about the same as dragonscale legendary. Very cool. Does not seem to be OP to me.

Dorabella Posted Saturday at 07:58 AM Posted Saturday at 07:58 AM Something really strange happened: I retrieved the letter, but I haven't read it yet, and in fact, I haven't even started the quest yet. However, when I went to Dragonsrich (main quest), the line about “Dibella's Love” appeared with Balgruuf's dialogue (I took the vows of nudity and truth).
Batjerk Posted Saturday at 02:47 PM Posted Saturday at 02:47 PM This seems a bit weird: when I try to set global variables "dbl_allowcomment" to any given value, it always reverts to "1" after closing and opening the console. The same thing happens with "dbl_allowfcomment". First, I tried to set the value of allow comment to 0, but I kept getting a comment. So, I checked the value and it returned 1. Then I tried setting the value to 0.01 and again it reset to 1. If I open the console, get the value, set the value, then get the value again, the console returns the value I set, but when I close and open the console again to retrieve the value, it always returns 1. The other variable works as expected, however it seems to default to 33 rather than 20. (This does not concern me at all, just noting it.)

I'm not trying to do anything, and they can pop up even in conversations. They are entertaining the first few times, but since they pop up no matter what one is doing, and do not involve any choices, they can get a bit annoying after a while. Double face slap! Realized that was from Curse of life, and I had not noticed it before since I had not prayed at a dibella alter. 😏
Batjerk Posted Sunday at 10:53 PM Posted Sunday at 10:53 PM I have encountered a gameplay problem with this mod. Becoming a Vampire Lord causes Debella's Eye (I assume that's the spell that causes damage for being clothed) to activate and there's no way around it. During Harkon's speech, I died from it. Cannot undress and I'm not sure why the game thinks I'm clothed. Being a werewolf is not a problem. Any suggestions for a workaround or anything other than not using that power?

Use the special spell before speaking to the Harokon – you obtained it when you picked up the amulet and the book from the shrine.

Yeah, I figured that out. I'm hoping for something that will allow the vampire lord to be used more than once per day and longer than 1 hour. I suppose if I'm using it in dungeons it won't be a problem since I can wear armor there...
