Never occured for me with Mimics in particular.

 

There's some issue with the camera sometimes not leaving first person, when you trigger the trap from within TNTR, in general, maybe that happened.

no, i was in third person but the camera is stuck in a position, i can't make a screenshot right now as i won't be playing the game until next sunday but i will make one then :)

Not yet, unless you include spawning spells vai console.

i think the issue is with TNTR in general, i found the best way to use it with a controller is to select "letter input" and "custom for keyboard" in TNTR, then put the 4 inputs to WASD and use the keyboard when the QTE happens, you may not be able to BIND keys while using a controller, but you can still use the keys you have already bound

did you select the font? because TNTR has the font and QTE time set to 0, i set them to 32 (font) and 10 seconds (time) then i select "center" for both anchors

Can you make a patch that replaces the "Open Chest" prompt with the "Unlock Chest" prompt so that it'll be much more convincing for people that use quick loot mods?

You can just use SSEdit to enter whatever text you like. Look at TNTR-MimicsTextFix.esp to see how its done.

Just change these two values to whatever you like and store it in a new esp.

I've never seen that bug before.

 

But basically, thats most likely another bug in TNTR. Its known to have a lot of issues, unfortunately. By principle, I do not change the script setup of the Traps (exception is the bear-trap, cause I wanted to add the qte-game)

 

If there's anything wrong with the trap itself, and not "outside consequences" that my mod does, its basically always an issue with TNTR.

got it :) 

 i sent a bug report in the TNTR page, only thing i THINK could be at fault is improved camera but that shouldn't be a factor if i'm playing in third person...i THINK...

Just FYI, I pushed a new fix to Extra Evil Traps to fix those aliases, because that is the mod that handles the "approach"

hey i have an issue the traps seem to work however everytime i would trigger it no animation would play, i've run pandora too and i do have oar and amr what could be causing this?

question, i got eaten by a mimic but the animation was different as my character got "turned around" before getting eaten (she was belly up instead of belly down like in TNTR) is that a vore mimic? because i failed the qte when i was inside and the thing just...kept me there? like no death, no reloading, no more qtes...

Yes its a vore trap, yes its a known issue with TNTR

yep, i saw that in the description and i was afraid that was the case, also, i checked the "camera bug" i reported by disabling improved camera but it still happens so i'm not sure what's causing it. i know it's not your mod because it happened even when i only had TNTR installed but i'm out of options for troubleshooting T_T

A question about that console command. Which one is better in this case - stopquest or completequest? And do I need to use resetquest afterwards.

 

I'm asking because I haven't used these particular commands and I don't want to risk my game. I'm usually solving these problems with setstage command but it doesn't work in this case.

MEANS If I install your patch file, will this situation occur, or will installing your patch file prevent this situation? 😭

Hey, small question, is the Devious Devices issue something this mod will address in the future? Or will Baka have to fix it themselves? 

 

The mod sounds hot, but if it's going to unequip quest devices and break things then I'd prefer to wait.

All work, but none are necessary, unless you really want that quest gone from log
