asdterewt Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Thank you for your mod; it works perfectly in my game. Unfortunately, there are only one or two boss chests in the dungeons. If there were more chests, the greedy Dragonborn would encounter greater danger.

kiwiii3 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Everything is working great in game so far. One suggestion, if possible, would be implementing a whitelist of slots/gear to ignore. I've noticed that the mimic will "strip" your CBPC/SMP physics slot, activating the quest to retrieve items, even when you go in with no gear on. Great work! 1

Thats a good point, I should add a generic way to ignore items by keyword, like I do with zad-item. Do you know which Item slot your SMP item uses? Because I do use CBPC and it does not happen for me. I actually try strip only standard item slots The only non-standard thing would be Calves (38), Skirt (49) and Underpants (52) If can you tell mich which slot, I might also just disable that in general

I don't remove that slot, only Calves (38), Skirt (49) and Underpants (52). So whatever removes that slot, it might not be my mod. Maybe its TNTR, maybe its something else. I will still add the keywords exclusion though, to make it extendible 1

Siudhne Posted April 30 Posted April 30 One of the few mods I'm always really excited if a new version is available. 🙂 Tested the new mimic combat: If I hit it, then get hit in return, the mimic struggle game starts - however, after succeeding at the first stage, the character just stands there and loses hp/stamina "as if" inside the mimic (but no further struggle prompt appears). Usually mimic struggle games worked without problem, so maybe something is going on if it is started by mimic combat?

xtro334 Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) Tested the latest version on a new game, and had a problem with Stolen Loot quest. It set up a list of all items I had lost, including the amulet that I was still wearing. I think it has to do with that I have the "Multiple Amulets and Rings... Automatically - MARA" mod. It allows me to use two amulets, and none was taken. So now I have the quest remaining in list. Might be good to have a check for if an item actually got taken for each category, before listing it, as a check for possible problem. Edited May 2 by xtro334 2

If thats not the case something went wrong, i would guess something happened during a version update. This is the SQV, unfortunately, following the uninstall instructions was unsuccessful, upon selecting Destroy mimics, I waited a full 20 minutes while I made food and no notification ever came, and the papy simply spammed the same message pasted above **Obviously this is broken with the null values, and it looks like it will require a fresh save, but if you have any ideas, I would be open, this is the longest save I have had in years I will try to remove it, clean with re-saver and reinstall. BonitaMussolini Posted May 6 Posted May 6 I've noticed that sometimes these chests get turned into mimics but never actually play the animation or give qte event to get out of them. The bigger boss chests seem to work just fine but i come across these sometimes and theres nothing i can do but reload the most recent save to get out of it. Anything I might have done on my end to mess this up? I have EET and O S.H.I.T. with the patch ticked and it's only when this type of chest becomes a mimic randomly.

Your migration from an older version most likely did not work properly, so you have to do that instruction again. Its the same instruction I've posted on the main page for migration, just don't use the older version.

This type of chest is not turned into a mimic. I have no Idea what you did in your installation, but those are clearly not a baka mimic/boss chest and definitely not things turned into Mimics by OMNOMS.

Having the same issue, saw it when I was going to respond to the water chest issue, first time this has happened as luck would have it. Even the game doesn't think it is but I still got grabbed. As for the water chest thing, well fuck, guess those chests are non-extant then for all intents and purposes, because the spell was not working.
