Hello

I'm having an issue, but I'm not sure it is related to your mod.
After the first day and when I'm back to the cell, when I want to go to sleep on the hay, i'm teleported behind the wall of the cell.

But most problem is that I can't wait or sleep, because it says I'm taking damage. I tried waiting for the working hours to start the day, but nothing is happening (I guess you're supposed to sleep to trigger the new day ?)

You can only sleep on the pad with your pony stall. Teleporting outside the stable is not allowed. This error did not happen to me. I played it for the first time yesterday. Try to help TCl return. And then try to use the pad again.

I don't know anything about the first one so probably not, the second one I suppose you could just do the first quest and ignore the rest and use it as a home but there are certainly better mods out there if you just want a home.

The mod is not console command friendly. I need a papyrus log if you want help. Nothing I can do otherwise.

Do you have any mods that affect you when you sleep? Like moving your character around/onto the bed or playing certain animations when you sleep? The bed in the cell is not a real bed. It's an activator that triggers a bed behind the wall. I had to do it that way to make sure certain things happened behind the scenes.

 

Might be a better way to do it but that's just what I came up with in five minutes. Maybe I can move the bed under the ground and hide it better so that you don't get moved outside the cell.

Amazing work considering it's only version 0.2! I played it for the first time yesterday. And I'm really looking forward to the next step. The only problem I had was with the texts. Not all lines of text were displayed in the game. I had to open the console while playing and compile hsu into win. So I could translate the texts myself with the help of xTranslator. I haven't had the same problem with other mods I use so far.

Otherwise, really amazing work. Thank you very much for it!

Same here. I get teleported behind the wall to the actual bed but i cant sleep because i am ''taking health damage''

Do you have any mods that affect sleep? Like they move you or play an animation or something? When I tested the sleep menu came up as it normally does.

No mod only the animation for DD's so you sleep with your arms still in the Armbinder. 

Did not have this issue with your mod prior to this update.

I just want to offer a few of my ideas. That I got while playing.

Hairstyles for Dovah: Predefine a few for Renna. And every morning after inspection Dovah would have to turn around and kneel. And Renna would then randomly choose one of these hairstyles. Every pony needs to comb its mane.
The cooperation of the dovahs will be counted in the pony's behavior.

Instead of evening feeding, add a feeding trough to the pony's stall. Dovah will be able to feed himself in the morning and evening. That would be useful for those who play survival.

Add a run for the ponies to the map. Where they will be able to run around freely after work. And where anyone who needs a pony for extra work that day can randomly come to get them. Dovah will get to know the other ponies there. And he will learn to talk to the other ponies there.

After work, the employee ties the pony to a nearby horse stable. There, Renna picks him up and takes him to the paddock. In the evening, she takes all the ponies for their daily assessment.

The pony has no arms. Therefore, he cannot open any doors on his own. Perhaps add a button to these buildings that would knock the person the pony is looking for out. The pony is an animal, it has no business in people's apartments without an escort. The guard there allows passage through the gates.

I don't know if it's possible. But I think players would welcome the possibility to add their own tasks for ponies to this mod. Both for morning work and short ones for the afternoon. Something like DLC for this mod.

When you guys sleep normally (so not in my mod but on any other bed) do you see an animation play? Because if you do you DO have a mod that affects sleep. The vanilla behaviour for sleep is just a menu coming up where you set how many hours you want to rest.

I'm using Go To Bed mod, it allows you to first lay down on a bed, then only activate T hotkey again to trigger the sleeping hour menu.
It might come from this maybe, i'll try to disable it and try again to see if it changes something, and will let you know :)

Looking at what Go To Bed does you will probably need to remove/disable it for now while you try this mod. I will see if I can make them work better together.

I was also occasionally hanging with the scene for choosing the next task at the start of the morning not progressing, (everyone would just stand around the courtyard switching idles) Restarting the game and loading a save during the free roam quest, then waiting to let it start the stabling scene without using the dialogue option to end the day early seemed to be more reliable in terms of getting the following day to start correctly.

 

I figure it's just some mod I've forgotten about trying to start a scene and breaking everything at just the wrong time that's doing it. (Edit: tried it on a new game with bare bones mods and haven't had any luck reproducing it.)

 

I will say that all the npc's want to stop and greet me constantly during the leash walks. which can drive you crazy. Not the initial one with Renna however. It can make what is supposed to be a ten second walk take thirty.

 

One thing I noticed during the initial fitting scene, if the random struggle idle for the chain pole plays right before you're released you get locked into the animation unable to move and soft locked, and will have to reload and start again to continue on, praying for RNG to be merciful. Struggle animations during quest moments (Such as the time skip teleports) seem to play havoc on the scenes as a whole causing them to stall out from time to time. At least in my experience. Using the new vibration code from Frayed and DD NG 0.4.2.

 

One other thing, during Reverie the plug is supposed to direct you to your destination correct? But no matter what direction I head in, even during the initial trip to the gate I just get repeatedly shocked. So it's hard to know if that's working as intended.

 

Other then that, and a few spelling errors. the mod is working great, particularly with the varied gameplay.

Which leash walks in particular were giving you trouble? I just checked the first one to the corral in game and in the CK and greets are turned off in the package and she didn't acknowledge me at all in game.

 

I have never noticed the pole struggle thing or the timeskip teleport issues but I may have just gotten lucky there. I will look at that.

 

Regarding the Reverie issue, you do have Scrabs Papyrus Extender installed right? It's a new requirement. That's where the function that figures out the distance comes from. If you do, are there any errors from my mod in your papyrus log when you do that quest?

I just uploaded a new version that got rid of the custom activator beds I was using. I tested it with Go To Bed installed and it seems to work well now. Needs a new save though.

Can someone tell me how to get past the locked gate right at the beginning?  I'm not good at hunting around for the right... spot, or whatever I'm supposed to do. Thanks.

Head down the path towards the end of the map. There is a passage near the gate there.

Hello !
I really really love your mod so far !
Thank you for fixing the bed issue ❤️ 

Here are some feedbacks or bugs that I encoutered:
- The leash area is great ! Good job for this, very helpful :)
- During Arnaud's quest, he asked me to deliver to an orc. I asked the smith and the one in the stables, but it was none of them. I tried the guards, none of them were concerned at all. I couldn't find the correct recipient. :( So I failed the task.
- Highsteps training: I can't believe it took me 10 laps to figure out that I was doing it in the wrong way (duh !), I thought failing was normal because it was the first training. So yeah, from right you should go, and not left :D
- The gates numbers was great, maybe my favourite quest. Also took me time to figure out the totem orientation for the appropriate way :D
- Pony Express: I'm currently stuck on this one at the start. Renna is asking me to take Inspection pose so she could load me, but nothing is happening. I tried moving out of the leash area, to force start again, but still nothing is happening. :'( Too bad, I was really excited to do this.

Can't wait to try more of your mod ! 🐎

Inspection position, but you have to turn your back to her. She needs access to your tail.

there is a time limit for this. otherwise you have to do it again. I think you should try talking to her. Or wait for her to ask you again. So it took me a while at first to understand what she wanted and do it correctly.

I think it would help if the commands stayed for a significantly longer time. If that's the case. I know almost nothing about mod creation...

For male ponies it is available: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/10068-devious-devices-for-him-reboot-se/
And Devious Devices NG 0.4.2 has a patch for it.
If the characters in this will address the PC either Dovah or Dragonborn. Then adding male ponies might not be a big problem. I think it comes to mind completely. I came across it myself now when I found out that I don't have the latest version of DD-NG. So I just thought I'd mention it here.

Otherwise, it's a really fun mod and I'm having a good time with it. And this is just the beginning. I'm really looking forward to the next updates.

I`m having trouble in reverie quest, not sure where to look. Those vibes are not helpful either, it would be cool if you made some textual hints.

Known Issues

 

  • I did not fix the issue some people were having with the pole in the intro. If that is still happening to you there are skip options now. WIl try to fix that in the next version.
  • The quest with Demetrius crashes maybe 1/10 times after stepping onto the dais. I am pretty sure it is because of the function I used from Scrabs Papyrus Extender there but I am not sure what is going wrong. I recommend saving before stepping onto that dais in case it crashes.

It is possible that the problem with the search will be caused by this.
As far as I know, today's update did not address this problem. I have not completed this task myself. so I can't advise more.

Hi just wanna start out by saying so far this mod is awesome, ive never really been intrested in the ponyplay kink stuff but this mod may very well change that. Im nt very far in just starting the first day quest so this may very well already be a thing I just havent played yet but im wondering if maybe at any point you might add some more enslavement elements or more forced esc prompts as so far it's really good but it's very 100% totally ready to give up and a be a pony but I'm wondering if theres a chnace to get maybe some more resistance from the dragon born, or maybe even a reluctance from the owner to release the dragonborn for the same reason she states to not want her around 24/7. After all im sure no one would pass up the opportunity to have skyrims most powerful bodyguard tied up in the stables all the time.
