That seems to be something that's bothering people in the modding scene in general.

I have seen someone attempting to make a skirt mod on the sfw side, but I see potential to make a skirt mod on the nsfw side as well. I mean, imagine taking the skort, removing the shorts, and making it short enough to show the lower half of the character's butt?

I can't import the clothes to blender. I don't know if it's possible to edit them right now.

Which files are needed to make the mods work? Only the two that blender exports (and the textures if they are changed)? I know adding everything from the main file of the pokémon works (but I don't want to make the mod files innecesarily heavy), and I also know that I got two different crashes with the rival model change when using all the files and only those two... hahaha. About your model, were you able to fix it? Could the reason be that she is not T-posing (I guess it's too obvious to be that, but, why is she not T-posing?)?

Oooooooooooh, it's not that I can't, is that it's looking for a different file. That must be what is causing the crashes. I can try to create one that works with the nude model. Which pant should I base it on?

ooh thats great! either skort would be a good base, though I did just discover the Blouse & skort set which is a full skirt with the shorts underneath instead of the weird half skirt half shorts the rest of them are

I'll give it a try later (no promises, I'll probably lose the rest of the day trying to make the rival replacer work), but I can't test it ingame as I'm still in the intro. And 100% the animations will be a mess hahaha.

As someone whose favorite trainer class is the Lass, the removal of skirts from the games is deeply saddening to me.

 

I guess their reasoning is that it's too easy in the modern 3D games to just look under the skirt, and they don't want people to do that, since they'd have to model/texture underwear or a black void.

You have to wear super obvious leggings, like the sword and shield lass, or you can't wear a skirt at all. Just look at how they literally added leggings to the DP Lass so she wouldn't have bare legs.

And even then, it feels like the skirts have been getting longer and longer. ORAS is the only real exception.

 

I find skirts cute! Am I wrong for wanting the option to have the player character and trainers wear skirts without absurdly long leggings?

skirts are cool, I think it's a shame that GameFreak cut some good customization in each game (especially SV)

im not entirely sure. Ive tried only having the trmdf and trmsh and ive been stuck in an infinite boot loop.

Ive had way more luck having all files in the mod

And for the model, ive been testing the animations to see if the model is weighted properly, and it is. There are no issues with animations in blender, only in game. It doesnt seem to matter if shes tposing or if animations are playing, since I was originally only exporting the tposing model at first.

 

I sent jmedia a message on discord asking about modding this game, but I have idea how often he checks discord, if at all. If its been awhile, ill have to ask here on loverslab

I just noticed someone made two mods to give Taunie and Lida bigger busts and thighs.

 

Might be good to archive them here just in case they get removed from GB despite them not actually being revealing.

Yeah same! I really don't understand why game freak are seemingly so against skirts when there solutions to make them work on a 3D space, obviously theyd never go down the route of modeling or texturing underwear, but they could always add a black void like you said. but I guess they just decided that weird half shorts skirts were easier in this game... At least we will eventually get a mod that rectifies that decision lol

I saw those comments. None of the characters have a confirmed age, and there is some info that suggest some are close to being an adult or are

I remember seeing someone claim some of the characters are around college age, but I'm not sure about how true that is

Yeeeeees, got the female rival working as a female player. Now I just need to find which files does it need to work properly and not crash the game (This is just the female model exported from blender onto the male folder, the textures are from the male, so obviously is missing textures).

 

Edit: I've got the clothes textures working, but still no hair and red legs. Very strange.

I noticed that the boobier_lida mod doesn't have the ik_chara folder in it. Was this a mistake, or does the mod work fine without it?
